Arriving at Cars Jin-Jie noticed the instant retro vibe of the place.
“Have I been here?” Jin-Jie pressed a finger to her bottom lip.
“I said you wanted to come here silly.” Syaoran ruffled Jin-Jie’s hair. Jin-Jie a little mad by Syaoran’s sudden action puffed her cheeks a bit before asking a waiter for a table.
“Hey Syaoran, are you happy?” Jin-Jie peeked up from her menu. “I got off work early for you.” Jin-Jie smiled behind her menu.
“Will you work at my firm for me too.” Syaoran asked back.
Jin-Jie’s smile faded. “You know I’m under contract, and also I wouldn’t feel right working for you.” Jin-Jie ordered her first cheeseburger since becoming a girl.
“I didn't know you liked working for him.” Syaoran’s voice carried some grit in it.
Normally Jin-Jie would be pissed with his tone, but she was also shocked.
“You know, normally I would be. But I guess … I got used to it.” Jin-Jie sipped on her water.
“Wouldn’t it be fun working together?” Syaoran stared into Jin-Jie’s eyes.
Jin-Jie chuckled. “Maybe a little, but I know you’d abuse your power over me!”
“Oh would I?” Syaoran gave a sly smile.
“Guilty! Guilty!” Jin-Jie pleaded, laughing.
“Wooahh, the burgers are so big!” Jin lowered her head to compare it to the size of the burger.
“Do you remember wanting to come here now?”
“Ha I still don’t but I’m happy I wanted to! Jin-Jie took a big bite out of the burger.”
“Its sooo goooddd.” Jin-Jie took bite for bite.
“Awwww I can’t finish.” Jin-Jie slumped back a little, letting her male side take over.
“You only ate half.” Syaoran swapped his empty plate with hers.
“I’m sorry the grease was to much.” Jin-Jie held her poor belly. “But it was very tasty.” Jin-Jie gave a satisfied smile.
Syaoran’s heart sank as he saw that smile. What he would give to see that smile every morning.
“Jin-Jie do you prefer girls still?” Syaoran’s lips spoke without thinking.
“Girls? Oh” Jin-Jie titled her head and had a finger up.
“Oh!” Jin-Jie’s light bulb shown bright.
“Ha do you think I would turn gay or something!” Jin-Jie turned her head a little embarrassed.
“I… I still like girls 100%” Jin-Jie said semi-confidently.
Truth is, Jin-Jie never really thought about this. Did she still like girls, or …
“I see…” Syaoran clenched his chest. Maybe I can see, how strong her reaction is.
“I ask this because, I think one of my co-workers saw you, and said he likes you.” Syaoran nonchalantly, said.
“Big WHAT!” Jin-Jie placed both hands on the table and lifted her face upwards. Jin-Jie sat back down, shocked.
“He -he said your really cute.” Syaoran stuttered out.
“Wh-what!” Jin-Jie held her hands to her face, that was beaming a nice shade of red.
“You are very cu-cute.” Syaoran stuttered.
“Are you teasin me!” Jin-Jie peeked through her fingers.
“Tell him… I’m not looking for a relationship right now. Also tell him I’m a real bitch! And to forget about me!” Jin-Jie’s jumbled mind blurted out it’s first thoughts.
“What if they can’t forget about you. What if your all they think about.” Syaoran grasped Jin-Jie’s hand.
“Then … Tell them I am the the girlfriend of a gang lord! And they will definitely die!” Jin-Jie took back her hand.
“Yes tell them that!” Jin-Jie pointed at Syaoran triumphantly.
“Is it because you still like girls?”
“Of course theres no way I-” Jin-Jie retracted her finger back to defend her face from being seen.
Whats with all these questions all of sudden, Why is Syaoran teasing me all of a sudden? Jin-Jie thought quick of something she could say to fluster Syaoran as revenge.
Without thinking it through Jin-Jie opened her mouth,
You might be reading a stolen copy. Visit Royal Road for the authentic version.
“Wait! Syaoran do you see me as a woman!” Jin-Jie blinked a couple of time curiously, not realizing what she said, but continued to go with it. “Has my lavish voluptuous body captivated you as well!” Jin-Jie’s smirked trying to put on her ‘I know what I’m talking about face.’
“Your body hasn’t but you have!”
“Eh?” Jin-Jie was joking so she expected a joke response, but the seriousness in Syaoran’s eyes made Jin-Jie shrink back a little.
“Eh?!!” Jin-Jie bounced back and slammed her hands on the table.
“Jie Jie, I’ve always thought you were a great friend, my best one in fact. You always supported me, and helped me through everything. I always wished you were a women. And one day it came true.” Syaoran’s eyes held a ton of sincerity as he spoke. Syaoran didn’t want to say what he just said, but the words just flowed out.
Jin-Jie held her head trying to process everything, as Syaoran grasped Jin-Jie’s hands.
“Jie Jie, I love you.” Syaoran took the dive as there was no turning back what he said before.
“Ahh! No you don’t!” Jin-Jie harshly pulled back her hands.
“It’s ok Jie Jie. I wasn’t planning on telling you today, but it seemed like a good opportunity came.”
“There was no opportunity! Your my bro!” Jin-Jie abruptly stood up and ran away from the restaurant.
Ah… I said it. Syaoran slumped a little. What did I do? Syaoran thought about chasing after her, but what could he say. Everything was already said.
“It was to early…”
Mindlessly Jin-Jie ran letting her feet take her wherever they pleased.
“Why Why… Syaoran your my Bro! You shouldn’t have those types of feelings towards me.” Jin-Jie stopped for a second and knelt down.
What am I going to do? I can just politely decline him right? I’m sure the feelings aren’t that deep. Jin-Jie grabbed a stick and started doodling in the dirt.
“Something bothering you?” A familiar voice called out
“Bwah!” Jin-Jie fell on her but.
“Li-Lian?”
Lian smiled when he heard her call him by his name instead of president.
“Why are you-” Jin-Jie looked around to realize she was right outside her office building.
“Has your early leave been fun?” Lian reached down and pulled Jin-Jie up.
“Eh? Oo…” Jin-Jie remembered what she said earlier this morning.
“… It was fun. …” Jin-Jie’s shaky voice caused a tch from Lian.
“Well since your done, lets go back to work.” Lian grabbed Jin-Jie’s hand and started bringing her back in the office.
Upon entering the building the attendant asked, “Have you found her?”
Lian shot a glare, as if saying shut it.
“You were looking for me?”
“No I was on break, taking a walk outside.”
“Can I get my raise now President! I informed you she was here!” The front desk attendant waved her hand.
Lian shot another glare. Clearly saying to shut it. But the attendant was clearly in her own land.
Jin-Jie chuckled a little upon hearing this.
“Don’t listen to her. I was out for a walk.”
“Hm?” Jin-Jie questioned sarcastically.
“Anyways I am free now so I’ll finish the rest of today’s work you can go home early.” Jin-Jie thought she would do the rest since she got to leave early. But as Jin-Jie was walking towards the office room Lian seemed to be following her.
“Lian you can go home. I’ll finish the rest.” Jin-Jie turned her head and gave a slight smile.
“I wouldn’t be a good boyfriend if I just let my adorable girlfriend do all the work.” Lian stressed the word boyfriend.
“…Right.” Jin-Jie just kept walking.
They both sat down in their usually spots, and began working. Lian noticed Jin-Jie’s expression was troubled. Lian thought of ways to ask about it, but was unsure if he could ask it.
Right when he was about to ask.
“Hey President Yu, Can I ask you a favor.”
“Yes Ms.An?” Lian’s mood soured a little.
“Do you think I could stay here for a bit?”
“Of course I’ll pay rent.” Jin-Jie didn’t want to go back home. And have another awkward moment with Syaoran. She just wanted time to think things through.
“Sure, but you don’t need to pay.”
“Eh!” He accepted so easily! And no pay! Jin-Jie wasn’t goona question why, and nodded expressing her gratitude.
“Thanks Lian!”
Lian shuffled his shoulders a little as he looked away.
The end of the day came sooner then Jin-Jie thought. Jin-Jie ordered some dinner, and went into the bedroom that Lian sulked In for a while.
To her surprise it was very clean, as if it wasn’t used.
“Wow you really cleaned up in here!” Jin-Jie turned back.
“Yes why wouldn’t I keep my place tidy.” Lian had a snobby tone, that Jin-Jie couldn't resist to tease.
“Oh is that why it was so messy before!” Jin-Jie chuckled again.
“Anyways thanks for cleaning it, I’m goona rest!” Jin-Jie closed the door and jumped on the bed.
“Ahh yes its so soft and comfffy.”
“I’m happy your enjoying my bed.” Lian was standing at the door arms crossed.
“Yeah, I wanted to lay in it for a while.” Jin-Jie snuggled her face against the pillow.
As Jin-Jie was bust being comfy, Lian walked over to the couch and laid a a white bag on the table and started unpacking some food.
“What, you have food already, but how? Work just ended I saw you working the whole time, when did you have the time to…
“Hmph” Lian shoved a piece of sushi into Jin-Jie’s mouth.
“Mhhm delicious!” Jin-Jie swallowed, and smiled. Lian smiled in return and patted Jin-Jie’s head.
“Hey stop that!” Jin-Jie shook Lian’s hand from her head. Jin-Jie’s eyes were a little hazy, but her words seemed resolute. Lian retracted his hand. Did I go out of bounds? Lian regretted his actions.
“Gimme more!” Jin-Jie broke past him and started diving into the sushi containers on the table.
“Mhhm” Jin-Jie moaned in pleasure. Lian smiled and watched Jin-Jie devour his all the sushi.
“I’m full, the sushi was too goood.” Jin-Jie fell on the couch holding her belly.
“Thanks for dinner President Yu …” Jin-Jie let her drowsiness take over.
Lian looked at the the mysterious girl who he only met a little over a month, and he’d already fallen deeply in love. He picked up Jin-Jie and carried her to his bed. He realized he could do anything he wanted with her, but he wanted this wonderful human being to look at him the same way he looked at her.
“Bzzz” Jin-Jie’s phone rang.
“Hey Jie Jie its quite late, Come home will you. Can we talk about earlier.” -Syaoran.
Lian looked at this message with a sign of disgust. Did something happen? Is that why she wants to stay here. Is this a boyfriend? Is this my chance to comfort her?
