“I’m pooped, but it was great!” Jin-Jie sat on Lian’s sofa. Jin-Jie hungrily looked at the takeout sitting beautifully on the small table.
“Let’s eat!” Jin-Jie dove into the takeout! Jin-Jie munched on her egg custard tart first.

Where are you? -Syaoran
Just eating at work. Jin-Jie replied.
Why? Do you need me? Jin-Jie texted.
“Ohh! I’m goona get drinks, be back!” Jin-Jie walked to Lian’s mini fridge.
Curiously, Lian peeked at Jin-Jie’s phone.
I just want you here - Syaoran
Lian’s expression turned dark, as his heart sank. As the thought ‘boyfriend’ crossed his mind.
“I got some water for me and some tea for you!” Jin-Jie smiled as she sat down.
She has a boyfriend, or course she does. Why would she not, she’s very capable. Lian slumped a little.
“Aww! Let’s eat fast I have to go home soon!” Jin-Jie started wolfing down her food. Syaoran must be waiting for another rematch at road fighter 5! Jin-Jie thought as she was eating.
“Hey whats wrong Lian?” Jin-Jie stared at a distraught Yueng-Liang.
“I thought you said we could watch Ramen Catcher…” Lian trailed off.
A flash zipped past Jin-Jie’s brain. I did! Jin-Jie immediately started texting Syaoran.
“Sorries! I promised to watcha movie with a friend, I’ll fight you another time!” Jin-Jie spoke out loud as she sent her text.
“Lets start it! Go Go!” Jin-Jie started searching for the remote, frantically.
The faster we watch it the faster I can get home! Jin-Jie’s eyes were scanning on full power.
Lian tilted his head, feeling a little pissed. Is she rushing? “On second thought, I think I’m feeling a bit sleepy, I think I’ll retire early.” Lian pushed Jin-Jie out. Jin-Jie didn't quite understand Lina’s shift in attitude. How did he get so grumpy? Oh well I guess I’ll have some time to mop the floor with Syaoran! Jin-Jie started to exit the office.
“Lian remember, to finish dinner, and throw away the trash! I’ll see ya tomorrow!” Jin-Jie left. Lian slid down his closed door.
Why did I let her leave? Is it because I knew she didn’t want to be here? Lian thought.
“I just don’t want you to dislike me …” Lian mumbled to himself.
“I want you to support me more than a assistant. I will show you I am a superior choice.” Lian stood up and looked in the mirror. He didn’t look like the superior choice now, but he felt a new fire burning inside him.
The next morning Jin-Jie walked into a familiar office, but this time at the usually empty desk, Lian was sitting there, wearing full suit, and was freshly cut. Looks like hes taking care of himself again. Jin-Jie breathed a sigh of relief.
President Yu, its glad your back! Jin-Jie gave a slight bow. Lian seemed a little ticked at the word president, but stood up promptly.
“Ms.An thanks for taking care of Huang Corp this week. Come here there’s some work to be done.” Lian motioned towards a small seat next to his desk.
What? Jin-Jie walked around to see a chair next to Lian. Lian’s desk was pretty big, but not big enough for two people to work at. It would be quite tight.
“Sit”
Shocked, Jin-Jie did as she was told and sat down. The office was big but she was sitting no more then 3 feet away from Lian.
“Hey President Yu?” Jin-Jie thought it was better to call him president now that he looked ready to work again.
“Shouldn't I be working somewhere else now?”
“No, as my assistant, you shall work here. Also as my girlfriend it would be strange if you were anywhere else.” Lian spoke without any hesitation, almost as if he was practicing that line all morning. Jin-Jie couldn't argue with that logic and immediately started getting to work. Lian snuck some peeks throughout the day of Jin-Jie. Although Lian thought Jin-Jie had a boyfriend, he would try to prove that he could provide more then any other man could.
Although Jin-Jie thought it would be super awkward to work next to someone this close, it wasn't. Jin-Jie found herself absorbed with work. And Lian didn't bother her either.
“Hey Ms.An-” Lian started to invite Jin-Jie to lunch, when Jin-Jie pulled out a small lunch pack.
Syaoran makes good lunches! Jin-Jie started to peel back her small lid.
“Oh should I not eat here?” Jin-Jie asked Lian. Throughout the week Jin-Jie would always eat in the office. Syaoran would always pack a new type of goodies for Jin-Jie to dig into. Jin-Jie always looked forward to discovering the many tasty goodies inside. Lian wanted to go out and get some food ,but Jin-Jie would be finished eating by then.

“You can eat, I’m just going to relax then.” Lian ignored his hunger.
“Really? You can order takeout or something you know? Or you can have some of mine, I assure you its tasty.”
Lian turned to Jin-Jie’s lunch. Inside was short rib, mixed vegetables and rice. Lian instinctively nodded, thinking it was Jin-Jie’s cooking. Jin-Jie fetched a spare plate and utensils.
“Okay, but you only get a little! This is still my lunch.” Jin-Jie selfishly began eating after giving Lian a little. Lian started eating, and immediately turned his head at Jin-Jie who was devouring everything. She can cook as well! Lian’s image of Jin-Jie increased.
“Ms.An, as you know your job also entails maintaining a public image with me.”
“Oh is that necessary anymore? I can just do the assistant work, I am quite capable.” Jin-Jie was clearly happy about her job last week, and she was looking for an opportunity to do more of it.
“I’ve seen, but It would look bad for me if my girlfriend just left me. So I think from now on we should eat dinner everyday.” Lian suggested.
“Eh.” Jin-Jie wiped her mouth, and blinked a couple times at Lian.
“Every night? President Yu I kinda like to go home sometimes, and my dinner is always very good.” Jin-Jie was thinking back on her fun nights with Syaoran. She didn’t hate Lian anymore, but she certainly rather hang our with her best friend. Also Syaoran’s cooking was very good. Lian slumped a little.
“How bout 3 times a week.” Lian tried to compromise. He knew he could threaten her,t he didn't want to do anything that would make Jin-Jie dislike him.
“Lets do one time a week!” Jin-Jie said as she started packing her lunch boxes away. Lian wasn’t pleased with only one day, but he felt like he couldn’t demand more. Jin-Jie saw the distraught on his face. Jin-Jie assumed he was still sad about Mei, and needed a friend.
“Hey, about the girlfriend thing. Why don’t I try to help you find a real one.” Jin-Jie faced Lian. Jin-Jie knew a lot of women fawned over Lian, and it would be no trouble in doing so. This would help Lian recover and leave her with a lot of free time. Lian twitched when he heard these words. He knew many women would come onto him, but they always had an ulterior motive, even with pop idol Mei. She just wanted to boost her career. Lian always had everything go his way, career, and social life. But for some reason Jin-Jie showed absolutely no interest in him.
“Perhaps I can increase your pay.” Lian tried to temp Jin-Jie with greed.
“Ha! You already treat me so well, I’m okay!” Jin-Jie patted Lian’s back
“I can offer you the VP position.” Lian locked his gaze on Jin-Jie.
What! VP! Jin-Jie had always strived to get ED(Executive Director), but she never imagined she would have a chance to earn the title of VP. Jin-Jie hesitated for a bit.
“Sorry!” Jin-Jie bowed her head.
“It’s an honor to have that position! But I think you should offer it to someone that has earned it.” Jin-Jie spoke the truth. Although she really wanted it, she would feel horrible taking it from someone who had been working non-stop for it.
“Hey cheer up!” Jin-Jie gave a light smile.
“You can catch me at the gym in the mornings! And you can join a social club!” Jin-Jie patted his back again. Lian slumped again.
Of course, An-Jie is the type of girl who would love you for who you are, not the things you van give them. Lian mind swirled into sadness, as he thought of ways to get Jin-Jie to like him.
The day continued very silently, with Lian struggling to come up with ways to spend more time with Jin-Jie.
“Alright, I’m going to start heading home. All of the paper work is done!” Jin-Jie started packing up, when a hand reached towards hers.
“Yes?” Jin-Jie tilted her head. Lian let go. Jin-Jie could sense something off, she knew he hadn’t completely healed yet, but she was happy he finally started working again.
“Hey, I’ll see you tomorrow. Why don’t you go spend time with Aunty Qiu? Shes been quite worried about you.”
An awkward silence crept in, as Lian was searching for something to say.
“See you tomorrow.” Jin-Jie left Lian speechless.
Jin-Jie returned home a little early, and the first thing she did was take a shower then jump on her bed.
“Awwww. This feels nice. Jin-Jie sprawled herself out on the bed.
“Awwwwww!” Jin-Jie moaned, as two strong pressures dug deep onto her shoulder blades. Jin-Jie layed her head sideways.
“Does it feel good?” Syaoran pressed his fingers in soothing motions. Jin-Jie nodded, as she closed her eyes. Jin-Jie wondered why Syaoran had never done this to her before when she was a man, maybe they got closer. Jin-Jie closed her eyes, and let Syaoran do his magic.
“Where did you learn this.” Jin-Jie happily smiled.
“Looking after you everyday.” Syaoran laughed a little. His technique was perfected stretching out Jin-Jie’s muscles everyday while she was in a coma. Syaoran’s hands were so used to Jin-Jie’s body that he knew exactly which spots would be tense.
“Little kitten, you’ve fallen asleep, aren’t you hungry?” Syaoran gently tucked Jin-Jie in. Jin-Jie’s face was in pure bliss.
As Syaoran started leaving the room he felt a small tug.
“Make me dinner …” Jin-Jie nibbled on Syaoran’s hand as she slept. Even though Jin-Jie was in relaxation heaven her tummy would trump all.
“Your still hungry as you sleep?” Syaoran gently shook Jin-Jie
“Would you like to eat?” Syaoran whispered into Jin-Jie’s ear. Jin-Jie blinked a little, and nodded.
Jin-Jie was carefully escorted to the sofa in the main living area. Jin-Jie dint need a support, but Syaoran kept saying she shouldn't walk after just waking up. Even though Jin-Jie only feel asleep for 5 minutes…
Syaoran carefully wrapped his arm around Jin-Jies waist and guided her to the sofa.
“It will be ready in a bit.” Syaoran patted Jin-Jie’s head.
Jin-Jie thought it was strange, but thought about it a little more deeply now. Why was Syaoran treating him so well now? Jin-Jie rolled over in thought until she smelled something delicious.
After eating a delicious dinner in a bubbly atmosphere, Jin-Jie exclaimed, “Alright now I’m really sleeping. Night Syaoran.” Jin-Jie cleaned her dish and went to her room.
“Oh wait!” Jin-Jie turned back around. “My job is currently paying pretty well, and I think I can afford my own place soon.” Jin-Jie was happy that she wouldn’t burden Syaoran anymore. She lightly turned around only to have two arms enclose around her waist.
“Aw! A sneak attack!” Jin-Jie struggled a little
“Jie Jie …” Syaoran’s voice was deep and serious. It shook Jin-Jie’s playful nature right out of her.
