Jin-Jie arrived at the location Bensen provided 5 minutes to 7, it was the morning and most of the crew was pretty groggy, but Jin-Jie was in a good mood to have secured a position so close to Yueng-Liang. Although he initially thought the job was going to be an assistant who would organize documents for him, he wasn’t displeased to find out that he would be pretending to be Yueng-Liang’s fake girlfriend. Jin-Jie also understood what Yueng-Liang was after. Jin-Jie got that Yueng-Liang liked pop idol Meiling, and that there were some rumors about them flying around the industry and social medias. Yueng-Liang cooperation sent out an ad for an assistant, really a fake girlfriend, to squash the rumors with pop idol Meiling.
Jin-Jie thought it would be wonderful to have these rumors run rampart. They wouldn’t ruin Yueng-Liang’s career , but certainly damage his reputation. Sorry pop idol Meiling, I have nothing against you but, you’ll have to take one for the team. Jin-Jie mentally apologized as he was walking to the photo shoot where Yueng-Liang was. Suddenly he was pulled into a room.
“Ms.An there you are.” Yueng-Qiu closed the door behind her.
“You thought you would go on set looking like that. Sit here let me reapply your make up, it sucks.” Auntie Qiu sat Jin-Jie down, and started to wipe her make up off. Jin-Jie held his heart. He was a little hurt by this, he thought he did a pretty decent job. But there was no way he could master it in a couple days, So Jin-Jie accepted the insult and let Yueng-Qiu touch his face up.
“You know if you came like this during the interview, I may have been more lenient with your stupidity.” Yueng-Qiu bluntly said as she closed her make up booklet. Jin-Jie didn’t even hear her as he was once again memorized by his reflection.
“You’re really amazing Auntie Qiu!” Jin-Jie praised as his eyes sparkled.
“Well I did start out as a makeup artist of course my abilities are top notch.” Yueng-Qiu patted her own ego. Yueng-Qiu thought it was a little rude to be called Auntie but seeing Jin-Jie so happy at her work, she let it slide.
As if realizing he was out of bounds Jin-Jie apologized. “Sorry I mistakenly called you-”
“Its fine, you should continue calling me that as long as you are Lian’s girlfriend.” Auntie Qiu’s tone was strict and professional, even as she called Yueng-Liang’s nickname.
“Also don't forget to call President Yu Lian, when you are in public events and photo shoots. No one must know you are his hired girlfriend. Remember ONLY in those situations, I don’t want you to get so close with President Yu, you shall address him as President Yu in all other instances.” Auntie Qiu voice was firm. She acknowledged Jin-Jie’s beauty and didn’t want her nephew falling for him, or vice versa. She was waiting for the perfect opportunity to marry him off to someone of a stronger background. Auntie Qiu wasn’t even pleased with Yueng-Liang’s relationship with pop idol Meiling, but due to Yueng-Liang’s request she had no choice, but to agree to his fake girlfriend plan.
“Understood Auntie Qiu.” Jin-Jie said in a resolute tone, although he hated the idea of calling Yueng-Liang President Yu since he used to call him just Liang when they worked together, he would swallow his pride, for the sake of getting close to ‘President Yu’.
“Alright change into this and get out there.” Auntie Qiu pointed to an outfit in the corner. Jin-Jie slipped into a nice summery yellow crop top with a small black, and red jacket, and gray skirt, with matching gray high socks.
Jin-Jie left the room looking very fashionable and beautiful, he appeared on set when he saw something that displeased him. Jin-Jie forced a smile, and waved one hand in the air. “Hey Lian, honey!”
Yueng-Liang looked sharp, and was dressed in a more casual appearance to match Jin-Jie’s look. Jin-Jie didn’t want to admit it but he was handsome. Despite not wanting to, he waved his hands as he stepped up and embraced him in a big bear hug.
Hows that acting! You like it photo crew! Jin-Jie’s smug face appeared. Yueng-Liang thought his face was hilarious as he placed his arm around Jin-Jie and smiled at the camera.
“Get That! Take the shot!” The director who was caught off guard eating chocked out. Jin-Jie released his hug but was still locked in by Yueng-Liang’s hold.
“Hey can you ease up.” Jin-Jie squirmed a little.
“Where did that energy go?” Yueng-Liang squeezed Jin-Jie tighter. Awgggg! LIANG! Jin-Jie mentally cursed him. Jin-Jie’s front arm was politely waving with a smile, while his arm behind Yueng-Liang’s back was desperately pushing against him. The final flash of a camera eventually went off, and the ‘happy’ couple went into a wardrobe room.
“Hello Ms.An its nice to meet you. I must apologize for my sudden withdraw at the interview, but I had my real girlfriend to attend to.” Yueng-Liang plopped on the couch, exhausted from the shoot. Jin-Jie created some distance between him and Yueng-Liang, as he was finally given space.
“Pop idol Meiling?”
“Thats my sweetheart” Yueng-Liang answered.
There already a couple?! I thought things were one sided. Jin-Jie’s cupid plan fell to pieces. Jin-Jie decided to play it normal till he schemed up a new plan.
“Well it’s nice to meet you too, President Yu.” Jin-Jie was still very frustrated about the photo shoot, but decided to play professional. Yueng-Liang got back up. “We’ll be working together for 6 months right? Why don’t we get to know each other over some lunch?” Yueng-Liang proposed. Jin-Jie despised having lunch with Yueng-Liang, but he thought he could make Yueng-Liang’s wallet suffer a little so he agreed.
“Only if the restaurant is five stars!” Jin-Jie waved his hand as if he was a celebrity. Will you take me Liang? Jin-Jie chuckled to himself.
Stolen story; please report.
“Okay I have this place I’ve meaning to try.” Yueng-Liang answered without hesitation.
Yueng-Liang’s direct answer shocked Jin-Jie. Eh? Wait he is a president now, of course he can afford it! Jin-Jie mentally face palmed himself.
Jin-Jie and Yueng-Liang arrived at a marvelous Japanese restaurant. A beautiful red arch awaited them at the entrance, with a fabulous red carpet underlying their feet.
“I’m sure I don’t need to remind you but we are a couple in public.” Yueng-Liang’s hand was nestled around Jin-Jie’s waist. Jin-Jie felt cold shivers emanate from the point of contact, and a sick look could be seen on his face.
“Table for 2”
“Certainly… Sir is Miss alright.” The hostess referred to Jie-Jin.
“Yes I am alright , I just saw a disgusting bug.” Jin-Jie stared at Yueng-Liang, as he guided him to the table. The inside kept its red theme going with fancy marble tabletops, and crystal chandelier lights.
Jin-Jie felt relieved when he sat down in his chair away from Yueng-Lian, he immediately started rubbing the side where Yueng-Liang’s hand was. Jin-Jie’s eyes wanted revenge for his surprised touch, and thought.
Liang, might be a rich president now, but there has to be a limit right? Jin-Jie eyes darted to the most expensive dishes, and decided he would just order a mountain of sushi. He thought he might not be able to bankrupt Yueng-Liang, but maybe make a dent, and make him regret asking him out to eat. When Jin-Jie finally looked up from the menu his eyes were met with Yueng-Liang’s.
Aww! Why is he staring at me! Is something on my face? Is he looking for an impurity to bully me! Instead of looking away like most people, Jin-Jie glared back. Yueng-Liang thought he was cute, and looked like an angered pup that was wounded. He mentally petted Jin-Jie, and was mentally bitten back. Despite inviting Jin-Jie out Yueng-Liang didn’t ask any questions, instead Yueng-Liang was looking at a fascinating animal, while Jin-Jie was debating on how to slap this man.
After sometime, the food was served. Yueng-Liang’s pleasant chicken cutlet with jasmine rice and mixed vegetables was placed in front of him. Are you a kid Jin-Jie thought, as his mountain of sushi was delivered in a rainbow assortment of colors. Are you a glutton Yueng-Liang thought.
Jin-Jie’s eyes sparkled at all of the fine delicacies he ordered. He completely forgotten about his plan to rack up the bill, and starting stuffing himself.
“Quite un-ladylike.” Yueng-Liang pointed out, pushing his vegetables to the side. Are you a kid? Jin-Jie thought again.
“Is that how you want to be portrayed?” Yueng-Liang pointed to some stealth paparazzi taking pictures.
Jin-Jie swallowed and placed a hand on his belly.
“Yes your girlfriend is quite a slob.” Jin-Jie smiled with food in his mouth. “You have bad taste in women.” Jin-Jie continued to dig in.
I don’t care how I look, this food taste too good. Also if it brings your reputation down, then its a absolute win! Jin-Jie happily thought, as Yueng-Liang continued to stare with interest at Jin-Jie. If Auntie Qiu was here she would be furious with Jin-Jie’s behavior, but Yueng-Liang just sat back and smiled to himself.
Ever since Jin-Jie became a woman, he noticed he had a significantly smaller stomach. Is this because he didn’t eat much while he was in the coma? Could be. But all Jin-Jie could think about now was how stuffed he was, even though the rainbow mountain in front of him was still standing tall.
“I didn’t know my girlfriend was such a waste.” Yueng-Liang teased. Jin-Jie normally would take the bait, but he was to full to think.
“Shall I take you home.” Yueng-Liang offered Jin-Jie a hand. Jin-Jie disliked the idea of relying on Yueng-Liang for help, but seeing as his stomach didn’t want to leave the seat yet, he smirked and thought, why offer your hand when you can offer me a premium laziness!
“Honey, please carry me.” Jin-Jie held both of his hands up. Yueng-Liang was stunned a little by his remark. Jin-Jie chuckled a little before getting up on his own. You like that Liang! To embarrassing for you! Jin-Jie’s devilish smile appeared.
“Alright.” Yueng-Liang scooped up Jin-Jie in a princess carry, before Jin-Jie could lift his butt off the chair.
Having caught his own bluff, Jin-Jie’s face rose a bright red color. Whats with you Liang! Are you gay, picking up a guy like this, I just wanted to tease you. Jin-Jie closed his eyes the whole time he was in Yueng-Liang’s arms. Jin-Jie didn’t want to admit it but being carried like this didn't feel bad. However he refused to indulge in this pleasure, and kept his head hovering from Yueng-Liang’s muscular chest. When Jin-Jie was placed in the car he refused to make eye contact with Yueng-Liang, due to how red he was.
On the car ride to Syaoran’s apartment, Yueng received a call from pop idol Meiling.
“Hey Lian! I just saw your new girlfriend on Wuzzfeed! She’s pretty cute, you have to introduce me sometime.” A high voice that you would expect from a pop idol reverberated through the car.
“I’m with her now.”
“Ohhhh really, hello! Your name is Jie right? Nice to meet you, you can call me Mei.” Mei yelled through the speakers excited to meet Jin-Jie.
“Ouch! Mei your own blue tooth, talk normally.” Yueng-Liang scrunched his face up.
“Oh sorry bout that. Anyways Jie Jie, can I call you that? I am Lian’s real girlfriend, I appreciate everything your doing right now. Once I leave the Huang cooperation as a solo artist we can officially announce our relationship. So just hold tight! I know the paparazzi and everything can be like hunting dogs.”
“Don’t worry I am a bit vicious myself.” Jin-Jie patted his chest as if Mei could see his gesture.
“Hehaha! Lian, you choose yourself a great fake! Jie Jie, lets go shopping this weekend! We can have a super fun time together.”
Jin-Jie thought to himself, that maybe he could find some secrets on Yueng-Liang through Mei, and agreed to her outing.
“Alright lets have some fun.” Jin-Jie leaned her head closer to the speaker. The call ended after not long after Yueng-Liang and Mei said some mushy stuff that Jin-Jie toned out for.
“You know Ms.An you are the only one who knows that me and Mei are actually in a relationship, well Auntie Qiu knows too.” Yueng-Liang spoke to the Jin-Jie who was pleasantly enjoying the rolling scenery.
“I thought Mei should know about us, as not to cause confusion. But under no circumstance are you allowed to tell anyone about me and Mei, or that you are hired by me. I like you Ms.An I would love to stay friends afterwords. Please don’t ruin our relationship.” Yueng-Liang’s shift in tone caught Jin-Jie off guard. Why was he so serious now? I guess he just loves pop idol Mei a lot. Jin-Jie nodded his head in agreement.
