Archvel, who had purchased a book of bestiaries for the current area, had some sort of information on the creatures that skeletons hunt.
"So, we lost five of the skeletons while hunting these three. Five of them are killed by only one of them, which is a level two magical creature, as expected."
The first creature looked like a crocodile. It was the size of a rhino and had robust and longer legs, which made it faster on land and sea.
Its name was Beast Crocodile, which suited it perfectly, and its level was only one.
The second creature was a bird-type creature, a crow-like creature, but the size of a lioness. It was also a level one creature, and it used the air element and air magic to fly, as its body alone could not handle the weight and fly at the same time. Its name was Huge Crow.
The important one was the last creature.
"So you are the one who destroyed five of my skeletons."
Archvel looked at the cat-like creature.
The creature only about the size of an ordinary house cat.
The fur of the creature was pure black, and from the looks of it, its eyes were too black.
It is called Shadow Cat, and it is a level two creature, which means it has at least three special abilities similar to magic spells.
A creature like this would make quick work of an amateur mage, and for hunting it, at least three mages at the level of Ezekiel are needed.
"It seems like this creature has an innate connection with Shadow Magic."
Archvel had seen the remnants of knowledge about Shadow Magic in the book Dark Archive from time to time.
There is not much knowledge existing in the matter of shadow magic.
It is known to be the enemy and counter of light magic.
It also has some connection to air magic, or curse magic. In a simple sense, it is the mysterious side of mages and magic.
"For the time being, let's try dissecting and working on these corpses so I can have a better understanding."
Archvel then started using tools to cut and dissect all the corpses.
He can order skeletons to do these things for themselves.
But he decided not to rely on skeletons.
He also did not trust the skeleton slaves to do the work with a great deal of care, as skinning is a delicate and mastery-needed job.

As a necromancer, these kinds of experiences are important.
He needs to experience and take action alone without any kind of interference if he wants to learn for real.
Seven hours passed in a flash, and Archvel immersed himself in the moment of understanding the bodies of the first two creatures.
He left the Shadow Cat to the last, as he believed that there would be no problem in
Archvel took a deep breath, and his magical energy started being injected into the skeleton parts and corpse of the first crocodile creature.
After some time later, Archvel started commenting.
"Yeah, it is right."
"It takes a whole lot of energy to create an undead instead of a skeleton using the corpse of a level 1 magical creature."
"The difference between two acts is different."
"I presume, for one undead creation is the same as four to five ordinary skeleton creations."
About five minutes later, the skeletons and the corpse merged into each other, and a humanoid-looking half-skeleton half-zombie creature showed himself in front of Archvel.
"It looks great."
Archvel commented and then felt the power rushing from the creature.
"It is power equal to half of one of the sentinels. Two of these should be able to take on one sentinel with ease."
"This means that two undead creatures created by me using the corpses of it equal one of my skeletons."
"If I create ten of these, I will have roughly five more sentinels. Which would give a huge power boost."
"It seems like it is better to use magical creatures as summons and my creatures while using ordinary skeletons as builders, servants, and other things."
Archvel takes a deep breath, and then his eyes land on the second creature as he starts using his magical energy to create a different kind of creature from it.
This time, because he knew what to do, it was easier and faster to create a level 1 undead creature according to the manual of Skeleton Creation.
In less than three minutes, a pure zombie crow manifested in front of himself. It has not lost anything when it comes to size, but its eyes turned a pure red color, and its feathers have taken a dark color instead of a more grayish color.
"Yeah, it is decided then; this crow and crocodile undead should be able to take on one of my sentinels. Their power, speed—I can feel all of these things with ease."
“This means that Level 1 Magical Creature remains create level 1 undead-type servants of different abilities, which in terms of pure power have the power of 50% of a Skeleton Sentinel I summon...”
Archvel smiled as the eagle started flying and the crocodile started running with his command. Because they were his creations and magical creatures, they were able to send bits of information to his mind without too much of a problem, and they were smarter than usual creatures.
This only added to the fact that these creatures have some sort of intelligence due to them being smarter when even they were alive.
“Despite Huge Crow Undead, it is not stronger than the Skeleton Sentinel; if controlled by me, the Sentinel would lose against it.”
“Beast Crocodile on the other hand cannot be caught by Sentinel.”
All of these things just added on and made Archvel think about the fact that if these creatures are this fast and this powerful, then how would a creature he would create from using the body of Level 2 Magical Creature, Shadow Cat, be?
"It is decided; I am not going to wait much and try it."
Archvel spoke to himself and then took a deep breath as he started placing the corpse of the Shadow Cat and more than four skulls in the circle.
"I can use my imagination to help me out when it comes to injecting energy."
"Think of it as injecting with an injector needle; it may help me out a little bit."
Archvel started injecting his magical energy into the middle, the corpse of the shadow cat, and the bones started glowing up in seconds.
