Isaac was a little bit faster at throwing Sam under the bus.

So Sam could only walk up to her unwillingly.

As soon as he stood in front of her he saw her smile widen a little.

He felt a chill up his spine, she was most definitely out for revenge.

“What is your name young man?”

“His name is Isaac and I am Sam” Sam said proudly.

“I only asked for your name” Ms. Valerie said with a smile still on her face.

“In that case I am Sam, a new student at this prestigious school ma’am” Sam said with a sheepish smile on his face.

“Did you hear the instructions I gave them earlier?”

Sam nodded.

“What element have you awakened?”

“uhmmmmm” Sam put in an act of thinking.

“You don’t know the name of the element?”

Sam nodded again.

Isaac to the side was astounded, so someone could be this shameless?

He has never seen it in his life, was this not the same person that was correcting the teacher earlier, now he is acting like he didn’t know anything.

“What is the color then?” Ms. Valerie asked since all the kids that came earlier didn’t know what the element they awakened was called.

So she didn’t suspect a thing about what Sam said.

In the group only Rex knew what element he had awakened.

“it looks brown with a reddish hue to it” Sam said innocently.

“It should be the Earth element, do you know how the Earth element is? It is very stable, so in order to get it under your command you also need to make it feel like you are very stable and not second guessing things, so when you choose a star don’t doubt it and stop thinking that the other stars would be easier to control”

“It is like a test from them, to see whether you are stable enough, the others might move slightly but don’t pay attention to them, if not you will never be able to control the stars. Do you understand?” Ms. Valerie asked.

Sam nodded and then closed his eyes and started trying to bring the star under his control.

He lasted more than all the rest of the student, even Ms. Valerie was surprised.

The kids might not know what it meant, but she did, it meant that his potential was more than all the rest, no wonder he was a trouble maker.

Soon he opened his eyes looking tired and exhausted.

Instead of asking him to go back to his seat like she did with the rest, she asked him to seat down and catch his breath for a while and he did as he was told.

She then called towards Isaac who was looking on nervously, but seeing as she hadn’t even shouted at Sam he felt at ease and walked forward.

“Isaac right?”

Isaac nodded his head.

“And you have awakened the lightning element, do you know what type element the lightning element is?”

Isaac shook his head slightly.

“Well Isaac the lightning element is an erratic element, since you figured out the element that you awakened late you should have realized this, am I right?”

Isaac didn’t want to lie but he could only nod his head, he has seen that everyone else only awakened one element, there was no way he was going to say that he awakened all nine elements at the same time.

It was linked to his necklace and he didn’t want to be put under scrutiny, he was still weak and couldn’t defend himself.

He knew a simple rule that a man was innocent but wealth made them guilty.

So he’d rather be safe than sorry.

That was why he nodded his head.

“In order to have the stars of lightning under your control you needed to be assertive and in absolute control, that is all I can tell you” Ms. Valerie said.

Isaac then closed his eyes and in a few seconds he was already in his sea of consciousness.

This was the second time he was here.

The place was as majestic as ever, he then focused on the nine lightning stars that were shimmering a bright purple color.

They were bunched up together like a ball.

He then focused on one star and did as he was told by Ms. Valerie, but try as he may the star didn’t even budge a little.

He gritted his teeth and continued, he eventually started hallucinating thinking that he saw the star shaking.

He then suddenly felt a force hit him from his sea of consciousness very hard and soon he opened his eyes.

Because of the blow he suffered there he was drenched in cold sweat.

He was more sweaty than anyone else from those that were chosen.

He felt like the world was spinning really fast around him.

If not for the fact that he was seating cross legged he would have fallen on the ground.

The whole class was stunned, he had not even spent close to a minute and he was grabbing the air looking for support.

The worst were those who had spent close to five minutes.

The class erupted in a cacophony of noises, but Isaac was busy free falling that he couldn’t pay any attention to that.

Ms. Valerie was not so surprised, for a kid who spent three days after awakening, this was much better than she had expected.

After his head had stopped spinning he stood up from the ground with a little effort, he looked like he was going to fall so Sam rushed up and caught him.

Ms. Valerie asked them to head back to their seat.

She had wanted to make them suffer a little but seeing how pathetic Isaac looked she could only feel pity for him.

And seeing as Sam rushed up to catch him before he fell down she felt very moved for their friendship and decided to let it slide.

What fun can there be in life if you didn’t have friends who had your back in your time of need.

And from what she heard earlier, they had just met yesterday.

All eyes were on Isaac and Sam at the moment as they walked back to the back of the class.

Isaac felt his head throbbing more and more by the second like his head was going to burst open.

As soon as they were back in their seats, he immediately put his head on the table and closed his eyes.

He was going to sleep in order to recover his spirits.

Soon the class continued with Ms. Valerie giving them pointers on how to go about controlling their stars easily.

Isaac who had fallen asleep was currently in a dark place just like after his awakening.

From time to time there would be a flicker of light and he would go on a chase.

After he had gotten tired of running all over the place he closed his eyes.

He remembered what the principal told him on how to relax and not to pay attention to the noise around him.

He did what the principal said and soon he could feel tranquility wash down upon him like never before.

He felt like he could sleep there for the rest of his life, when he suddenly felt that something was terribly wrong.

Even though he couldn’t see it he could feel a pair of menacing eyes on him.

It felt like a monster was looking at its prey waiting for the perfect moment to attack.

He instinctively opened his eyes and what he saw before gave him the fright of his life.

He saw a pair of eyes with nine different colors that were making different patterns and formations looking at him closely.

He shouted at the top of his voice and the next thing he knew was that he opened his eyes in the real world while screaming.

He heard a hoarse voice before waking up saying interesting.
