All the people in the assembly ground turned to look at the back, then their eyes trained in on a kid who stood in between the queues, he was looking like a sore thumb at the moment.

He was so focused on listening to the teacher on the podium that he didn’t hear the shout, he was nodding from time to time to show his understanding.

He then suddenly saw that the teacher had stopped with the explanation, then he saw that all eyes were on him, he turned around suspiciously to see if someone was standing behind him.

Then he saw that the principal and instructors were all looking at him too.

It was at this moment that he was the center of attention in the whole square , he then scrunched up brows trying to think why all the attention was on him.

Then it dawned on him that he was not standing on the queue like the other students.

He then silently moved to the queue closest to him to merge with it.

When someone on the queue told him that he was being called for.

He started turning his head left and right looking for who was calling him.

Sam and the other kids he once shared a room with turned their eyes sideways, they did not want to be recognized as his room mates before.

The kid who told him he was being called pointed to the direction he was being called from.

When he found the direction, he immediately felt a chill run down his spine, he just arrived and he had already been noticed by the principal and every teacher in school.

He started walking towards the principal and the instructors.

“Well you all can continue, it’s not like we are talking to you people” that young instructor said loudly again.

The teacher on the podium immediately continued where they left off.

As soon as Isaac walked to them, he stood with an embarrassed smile on his face.

“What is your name young man?” the principal asked him with in a calm tone.

“M-my name is Isaac Kairos” Isaac replied after taking a huge gulp.

“Why are you not on the queue, didn’t you hear when I asked you to stand based on your element of awakening?”

“Uhmm---” Isaac started scratching his head awkwardly.

“I doubt he knows what his element is” the instructor who had conducted his awakening said.

“How comes?” The principal asked doubtfully.

“He has been asleep for the past three days, since he fell into a deep sleep during his awakening” that young instructor said with a smile.

Isaac and the principal were both surprised, it was at this moment that he knew for how long he had been sleeping, no wonder he felt sore all over his body.

The principal was equally shocked because there had never been a case like this, where a kid sleeps for three whole days after awakening, no matter how weak their potential was.

“So he couldn’t even check his element after he had woken up, I believe he just woke up right before your welcoming speech” that young instructor said.

“sit down” the principal said in an authoritative tone, Isaac immediately sat down on the floor, it was not like the place was dirty to begin with.

“Isaac close your eyes and take a deep breath, then search in your sea of consciousness for the element that you’ve awoken” the principal said gently.

Isaac closed his eyes, but even after a few minutes had passed nothing had changed about him, his eyelids was fluttering looking like they might open at any moment.

The principal and the others were looking at the kid awkwardly trying to look for the element he had awoken.

They now understood why he had slept for three days even after his awakening.

The principal sighed and said “Follow my instructions Isaac, take huge deep breaths to calm yourself down, you are not concentrating enough, so you can’t possibly enter your sea of consciousness, all you will see is black at the moment”

“You’ve only closed your eye, but your mind is paying attention to what is going on around you, deep breaths, slow deep breaths, forget all distractions that you’ve in your mind” the principal continued to guide him, but try as he might nothing happened.

“Let me try, Isaac think of things that calm you down, think of your crush, your favorite food, sea side , nature---” the young instructor started talking.

The principal and the other instructors were looking at him skeptically, what was he talking about.

“Hahaha, I get it, there is only one element that would act like this” the young instructor started laughing wildly.

The principal was already used to his antiques, but the other instructors were looking at him like a mad man.

“Isaac think of things that makes you angry and agitated to the extent that you want to raise your head and shout to the skies, didn’t you come from the place where the white disaster occurred, where are your family and friends, where is your mother and father?” The young instructor started taunting Isaac with all the things he could think of.

At this moment Isaac who had forgotten all about his worries because of the deep sleep he had fallen in, finally remembered the things that agitate him so much that he couldn’t sleep.

He immediately started getting angry at the world and everything in it, he loathed people that were happy, those that looked down on him.

He felt the sudden urge to beat them all up.

“Samson, stop right this instant!!!” the principal shouted towards The Young instructor.

The next thing they heard was the sound of thunder rumbling from around them.
