The cloak lifted me up as usual, and I began flying, though this time around, I had no intention on flying through clouds. They were too dark, and I did not want to get hurt. So I needed to use my brain to plan ways of staying out of the clouds. Which worked thankfully. Although, as I continued, I noticed a weird island approaching.
“Grandfather, what is that?” I asked.
“Goythlay Bandits, the frisky creatures figured out how to make flying ships, and used them to trap flyers, torture them and steal their supplies. It is best we keep out of their way” Grandfather responded gravely.
“Well, we don't have many options because that is the only path without clouds in the way” I said with a worried tone.
“Well, best of luck, we should try to hide in spots where they would not see us, but I am warning you, they look pretty hideous” Grandfather muttered.
I landed on the third level of their ship, and quickly hid in one of the nearest empty barrels. There was a crack in the wood, so I could see everything. I heard a loud horn sound, and thousands of feet all around started moving.
“Oh no, that is not good ”I whispered.
“I forgot about the ship's weight. Goythlay bandits have a pressure stick that they use to way their ships. We just added one to many pounds.” Grandfather muttered.
“Oh great” I whispered.
My heart skipped a beat when I saw what the Goythaly bandits looked like.Bright red skin, with pastel orange circles. A dark blue nose that was curved, with ears that were just as curved as the nose. They wore a coconut mask, but their ears and nose stuck out, I was quite confused on how they could see. The clothes were just vines that were tightly woven together, with no shoes on. They had four arms and three legs, which looked horrendous. Everything else was covered up. I wanted to vomit.
“Ugh, that is a sight that gave many flyers nightmares for weeks.” Grandfather whispered. I could see why.
Suddenly, the barrel was picked up. That’s when I got the treat of hearing their raspy, but loud voice.
“These barrels contain wine, there is no intruders in here!” One of the Goythlay bandits said. I shuddered, but I was lucky in that moment. They thought I was wine.
The barrel was carried to a place thankfully still outside, but I assumed that the barrels I was placed around had been checked. So now all I needed to do was get out. But every moment was like being in a scary tale.

“WHERE ARE YOU FLYER?!” a Goythlay bandit screeched, making me cover my ears.
Soon, any sound on my side of the ship disappeared. So I broke out of the barrel, to my dismay a Goythlay bandit was watching over the barrels.
“There you are! Get over here!” The bandit shrieked.
“AHHH!!!” I screamed.
The cloak shot me up into the air, so I quickly landed somewhere much higher, that did not seem to have any way to get up to. It was a small platform, but it was large enough for me to collect myself, and gave the cloak some time to charge up.“Be careful, they may not know where you are, but their technology must have advanced since flyers last encountered them.” Grandfather had to speak a little louder because of all the yelling below.
Unfortunately, Grandfather was right. Because strange flying things rose to the air soon after, and I had no where else to run except to fly.
“You have to fight!” Grandfather yelled.
“I dont have a weapon?!” I yelled back.
“Find one!” Grandfather shouted.
I jumped down, and found a weapon that looked strong.
“Take it, it is the leaders weapon and out matches anything else they can find on the ship” Grandfather said.
I took it and ducked under a table when I heard feet coming towards me. The walking passed by and I quickly used my strong legs to bounce against walls, avoiding more encounters with bandits. But soon enough, I found myself facing 5 Goythlay bandits.
“Time to die!” One of them said. But they were quickly stopped as I mashed some buttons on the device and it shot out a black looking thing that made them all fade away.
“That is terrifyingly awesome” I said under my breath and continued running around.
I repeated this process killing many bandits.
“Will this affect my soul being pure?” I asked, realizing that it would be terrible if it did.
“No, it makes your soul more pure. Bandits defy the ruling of the gods, especially Pax” Grandfather eliminated my worries.
After quite some time, I could breathe again, as I had killed so many bandits, that there were not many bandits left. I decided to head inside, and raid their food storage. For such hideous creatures, they made delicious food. I stuffed my face and then decided to wait until a Goythlay bandit burst open the door. But this one looked different. It had the same skin, same ears and nose, same everything, except for the clothing and the coconut. The clothing was made of silk, but different colors so it was sewn together. Most Goythlay bandits had an angry face on their coconut, this one had a crown, and a more regal face.
“I am the leader! You will surrender!” The Goythlay bandit screeched. But I knew how this was going to go. I shot it with the device but it did not fade.
“What?!” I was utterly shocked. But I had another way, so before it could speak, I kicked it in the stomach and ran.
“The cloak is charged! You can go! Now!” Grandfather yelled. So I jumped off, and the cloak carried me far beyond the ship, and I heard an explosion behind me.
The ship was destroyed, and I saw an island I could land on. So I did, and the sight shocked me.
