Ashley and Jasmine look at Zero like he is crazy. “ Well a Familiar or what some people call soul beasts. They are animals or monsters that are bound to the soul of a magic or Aura user in which as the person gets stronger the Familiar will do the same. They will also evolve as they grow stronger, for example a bird Familiar of a fire user if the animal also has the element of fire they will be able to evolve into a phoenix like one of the legendary ancestors that made the world”. Jasmine says as she explains like a teacher lecturing a student.

“However if the Familiar has a different element than the user it is even more rare because the Familiar is a extension of the user so it is also counted as the user’s element and the Familiar grow with the user they can let the user borrow some of their elements or work together to make more powerful attacks.” Ashley chimes in after Jasmine is done.

‘Wow this little egg is pretty much like all those video games I play. So this thing is pretty much a soul companion that will grow with me as I grow stronger and someone I can always trust no matter what. I guess this time I will never be alone’. Zero thinks about how much he was alone before and after that thought.

“ Well how do I make it come out of the egg? Do I wait or something? Because I would love to have a little friend to take care of on my Journey.” Zero says with a bit of an excited tone. He always wanted someone to be by his side other than the one he was looking for.

“ Well dear you would have to infuse your magic or aura and imagine trying to unlock something that you need or wish for it to be opened with all your heart. Oh we forgot to mention usually you can only get a Familiar at the church but now we don’t have to go there. In fact a familiar costs about ten thousand gold due to the fact the church has to make a ritual to the goddess Aurora to make a request to summon your Familiar to this world. There are those who are blessed to have a Familiar which is always good since they can save money and have a bond with their familiar early on.” Ashley says which Zero looks at her like she is a sexy teacher teaching him in class.

“ Well then let’s try and meet the little fella in here I wonder how it will look” Zero says as he touches the egg and pushes his magic into the egg and the egg starts to glow with white light and snowflakes. Then it starts snowing a bit in the room as it does the glowing expands until Everyone in the room can’t see. Then as the light is finally gone there is a single noise that attracts everyone in the room.

“Kyuuuuu!”. Zero looks around to see a light blue fox with golden eyes and it has a white tip on the tail of it. The Fox looks around the room and locks eyes with Zero and then jumps to him with its little paws and starts to tug on his pants leg.

“Kyuuu! Kyuuu! “ The Fox yips as it is trying to climb up Zero’s leg. He picks up the little fox and puts it near his face and the fox starts to lick and nuzzle his face. Zero laughs and puts the fox on top of his head and lets it stay there while he faces the two ladies who look stunned at the fox on his head.

“Oh my! This little one is so cute!!! Now I really want a familiar of my own. Look at you cutie let mommy see you a bit closer please!”Ashley says and the fox shakes her head no and I can tell its gender because we are soul bound and her feelings it seems when Ashley mentioned the word mom it felt angry and was thinking of someone already as mom.

“Now I also want a little munchkin to take care of. Now I know why getting a Familiar is so much gold. This munchkin is worth a lot of gold and the power it is giving off is off the charts. What are you gonna call this little one and is it a boy or a girl?” Jasmine says with stars in her eyes as she looks at the fox.

“Well this little one is a girl and I am gonna call her Nova. She reminds me of someone that brought so much light to my life in the past.” He says as he pets her and starts to picture a girl in a white field of flowers with white hair and golden eyes. “Yep this is the perfect name for you. Welcome to the world Nova I will take care of you for now and forever.” He says and he picks her up and nuzzles her back with his head. For the first time Zero has a bright smile on his face looking at the Nova in his hands and puts her back on his head.
