Third Person View

A man with black hair as dark as the night sky and eyes that looked soulless with no emotion was standing in a void of empty black space. The man is lying on the void floor, looking at the night sky. He continues to look at the emptiness and says, "Well, it looks like I died", .as he continues to stare at the night sky with no stars. He sits there and wonders if he could have done his last life differently, but he realises he would not regret the path he chose in his previous life.

Then as he looks up, he sees the light coming toward him slowly. He still lays there, and as the light continues to go toward him, he continues to lay there with no emotion, but he wonders what this light could be. Is it an end to his existence or a new beginning? The light then starts to show a figure of a woman with silver hair, golden eyes, and a white dress. She has a look of pity on her face as she looks at the man. For the first time, the man has emotion on his face, not of happiness but of rage.

The man yells, "You dare give me a look of pity. I regret nothing as I die, and I will continue with my curse as I have in each life because of those so-called higher beings!". The man that was once emotionless now has a face of rage that is very intense. He gives the lady a middle finger as well as he says that.

The woman then has a look of fear and then begins to smile and says," I don't pity you. I respect what you gave up and what you chose in the past. In fact, I bring good news". She says that with a warm smile and looks at the man with a smile like a mother looking at a child that has done something that makes her proud.

The lady pauses for a bit while giving a faraway look like she is looking at something else, then continues '" Your curse has been lifted, and in return, you will have your happy ending in a New World". The man laughs at what the lady says like she is telling a joke and says, "There is no happy ending without her, my light. I would rather destroy my soul". The lady looks at him with a bright smile and says," Don't worry, she is waiting for you, Zero. After all, in your previous life, you did what she asked even if you did it your way, covered in blood and misery."

Zero looks at the lady with a gaze as if he can judge her words and says," Hmm, okay, but this better be a fun adventure this time rather than the last boring world".The previous world for him was pretty much hell. It had no adventure. It was just a world that was a cage for someone like him. The lady smiles and makes a doorway out of light and says '" This new world is going to be a place where magic and swords will give you power. It is a perfect world for you. As for your magic, you will have for this world well...." She gives him a look like she is looking into his soul to judge which power to provide him with that would best suit him.

The lady looks at him knowingly and says, "Your magic will be your darkness and your shadows and, most of all, blood and death as you gave so much life and so much death in the worlds you went to". She shakes her head, wondering why he has such polar opposite elements but realises why as she looks at Zero.

Zero finally gets up and starts to walk to the door, then stops, looks at the lady, and asks," Why would you do this for me? You know what they will do to you when they find out".

The lady looks at him sadly and says," At first, I was like all the others. Why would someone with all that power give it all up? Then I looked at your adventures and struggles and realised why you did it even if you don't want to say it and think you are a monster. I know why you did it." She has a sad look, like she is missing something as well. She looked at him with a caring smile. "You did it all for love, and you would do it again if you had the chance. I just wanted to see a monster like you have a happy ending". She scoffs at the word monster but hides her tone from him.

Zero looks away at her, then laughs and says," A monster like me with a happy ending, huh well, I better make it a good one, huh." He moves his hair showing an earring of a moon, and continues to walk to the doorway without looking back. He always has gone down a path regretting nothing of what he has done in his life and with his head up high.

The lady, still in the void, looks around, and as she does, she says, "you stop hiding now he is gone. You can still send him the gifts you wanted" As she says these, many lights begin to appear, and the figures of these lights are children and women and an old woman who all have a bright smiles looking at the doorway. They all look at the door with bright smiles and hands reaching out to the portal of light. They know they can not follow him, so the people there do the next best thing, and they look at the lady that spoke to them.

The children give the lady an egg with a fox symbol on it. As they do, they disappear, waving goodbye with bright smiles. You can hear them saying to have fun, and they laugh and giggle, having fun as they fade out. The woman then gives the lady a pair of clothes that look like adventure clothes in a fantasy world with black leather, silver lining, and a bag with no limit. As they give it to the lady, they start to disappear with happy tears in their eyes as they look at the doorway of light. You can feel the joy and sorrow of what had happened to them in the past as they finally fade away, and you can hear a thank you from the last speck of light.

Then the older woman steps up with a kind old smile like a grandma thinking about her grandson and gives the lady a scythe that looks all black with silver cracks on it and then bows at the lady and disappears with a proud smile as she looks at the doorway of light.

The lady then looks at the doorway and sends the items through. "You say you are a monster, and yet you only killed to save, and you only made the people who made them suffer the same as them, and yet they were watching and worrying about you. Ultimately, you were their hero, yet you decided to die as a villain".

The lady smiles and says," Zero, I hope you have the happy ending you seek. Also, know she is waiting for you in that world, and this time she won't let you go again.". She starts to fade into the void as if she was never there as the doorway closes.
