Zero’s Point view

As I step in the doorway I look around and see that I am now in a forest. I look around and I see tons of trees that look so much more green then on earth the last world I was on. I pat my body and see what I have on me. I see that I have a type of adventure tunic that is black and has a silver lining that would look like it would glow in the night time.

As well I seem to have a scythe that looks as black as the void I was in and it has white cracks in the weapon that seem to glow as I touch it. As I touched it it felt very connected to me to the point where I could feel it as a part of myself.

Then I moved onto an egg that seemed to have a fox symbol. I touched the egg and it started to glow as it did. It turned into particles of light and snowflakes and went to my right arm where it turned into a dark blue fox tattoo. I went to touch it and it felt cold and warm at the same time like it was alive living inside me as I focused on it I could hear a heartbeat.

“Well it looks like I have a brand new friend to keep my company” I said as I looked at the tattoo. Then as I turn away from it I see the final last item I have it is a pouch and as I reach inside it I can sense 3 items in it even though it seems endless space inside. It had 100 bronze pieces,100 silver pieces, and 100 gold pieces. Now as a man of culture in my past world I knew this was classic fantasy currency so no need to ask someone and expose myself.

I tie the pouch to my waist and I test out my weapon a bit to prepare myself. I could almost feel how to use it. Then I look around the forest I am in. It seems so quiet, almost too quiet. I shrug it off as I continue to walk around the forest and then I remember I have magic like that lady told me. I reach my hand out and imagine a dark tendril. To my surprise it comes out and I can direct it as much as I want.

I start to try and get out of the forest as I practice my magic. It seems that with death magic I can feel all the life around me and I can take some of it. I tried it out on a tree and as I did I could feel myself get more powerful. I felt like I could run miles and not get tired. Also I cut my palm as I did so I could feel that I could control my blood like my darkness. But it also feels like my death magic, like I could drain something I guess time will tell as I get stronger and more powerful. But the easiest magic I had was shadow magic. I could move the ones around me to cover me or to make myself less visible. Hmm it felt like they were welcoming me into this new world.

As I continued to walk in the forest I sensed something watching me and then that when I heard growling behind me. As I did I started to spin my scythe and slice behind me. As I did I saw behind me there were three wolves, well four now as I sliced the wolf in half. As I used my blood magic to bind two more wolves as I moved the blood in their body and strangled them from the inside out, I then looked at the last wolf with no emotion.

“Well little dogie your pack is now dead and all that is left is you and I know just what to do with you. ”As I said that I used my darkness magic and I bind him. He started to struggle and whimper as I touched his head and infected it with my death magic. I could feel him changing. His flesh started to fall but not all of it and I could see bits of his ribcage.

“Well then Happy birthday to you my New Servant I think I will call you Ripper”. As I named him I could feel him settle down and bow his head as he went into my shadow I could feel him in there watching waiting for orders. After that I stored the rest of the bodies in my bag. It seems it could expand to my will when I wanted to fit things.

I remember in these types of worlds apparently there are people that buy monster bodies or animals in general. I looked at the night sky and I could see a full moon. It was so beautiful and so full of hope and then I remembered who else was in this world. I smiled as I looked into the moon and continued into the forest to find a way out as I say. “Well I guess it is also my Birthday in this New world. I wonder if she is looking for me since I know she can sense me when I enter. Well we will see in due time.”
