The defending forces had whittled down the tribesmen to only 20 soldiers before even engaging in melee fights. Sam used his charging speed and rammed shield first into a camel and its rider. The other knights and warriors did the same, engaging in a turbulent battle. A majority of the tribesmen had to dismount and fight on the ground while the camels ran away.

Sam went towards the closest enemy and delivered a running kick to his chest. He followed with a punch to his face, which hit him to the ground.

The soldier was shocked because of Sam's power but before he could stand up or defend himself Sam already stood above him and smashed his shield downwards.

*Crack*

The soldiers head shattered under Sam's enormous strength. Sam looked around for his next opponent. He saw the twins, who were evading, blocking and attacking in all directions.Kain fought a burly man with a big two handed saber while the remaining soldiers faced their own respective opponents.

One of Sam's warriors got stabbed by the enemy leader in the chest. After the speartip had left the warriors body, he started to scream horribly and died shortly afterwards.

Sam ran over to engage the enemy leader before he got the chance to kill another one of Sam's people.

Sam stood next to the corpse of the warrior and took a look at him. The wounded flesh had partially turned black as if burnt by fire or corroded with acid.

' This weapon deals extra damage! It will be extremely painful if I get hit by this spear. '

Sam and the leader looked at each other for a moment before they both charged at each other at the same time.

The spear swiftly stabbed forward but Sam intercepted with his shield before kicking at the leaders leg. He evaded by jumping backwards, only to rush forward again!

Sam spun his torso to evade the weapon again, then used his free hand to grab the handle.

He felt something off, however he thrust his shield forward and bashed it against his enemies shoulder.

Sam noticed at this moment that his hand began to hurt badly. He loosened his grip at the same moment his shield made contact with the leaders shoulder, therefore pushing the enemy away. He crashed on the ground but stood up a few moments later.

His shoulder was dislocated, his face pale and after seeing one of his men getting pieced by an ice spear he resolved himself and ran!

Sam at this moment had no time to look at the enemy. He looked at the hand which had held the spear and saw the burnt skin on his palm. He had worn gloves but the acid had simply burnt through them and arrived on his bare skin!

Sam knelt down and rubbed his hand against the ground to get, whatever was the cause of this injury, off.

He frowned and silently groaned in pain. After wiping his palm a few times it stopped getting worse but Sam could see his finger bones at two places which had been burnt really badly.

Sam stood up and looked around. Only a handful of tribesmen were still fighting, the rest had been killed or critically injured during the fight. After watching for the enemy closest to him, Sam approched the saber wielding man and knocked him out from behind. He told two nearby archers to bind his hands and bring him into Woodchester. Then he helped to kill the remaining survivors.

Linda approched after the battle and gave Sam a potion to heal his hand which he immediately started to apply.

" This injury looks horrible! What caused it?"

" I fought their leader, he uses a spear which emits acid or something similar. It burnt through my glove and flesh in only a few seconds!

Unfortunately he got away."

Kain came over and reported to Sam and Linda.

" A total of 12 men died, five are unable to fight because of their injuries and eight more sustained light injuries. In total we killed 44 of these tribesmen."

Sam nodded.

" Killing so many with only this few losses is really fortunate, even though I could do with no dead men at all! Bring the injured inside Woodchester, we don't have to use portions if their injuries aren't too bad! The remaining soldiers should loot the corpses! We will burn the tribesmen afterwards and bury our men on the graveyard."

Kain and Linda nodded and left to give orders. Sam looked around for the twins. They were coming right to him with two bags filled with loot over their shoulders.

When they arrived, they looked at his still healing hand with worried expressions but Sam smiled and assured them that he was fine.

" More importantly, did you find some good stuff?" Sam pointed at the two bags.

" There are some containers with different substances, weapons and some pieces of armor.

Here, take these gloves, you need a new pair and these should be a good replacement."

Sam thankfully accepted the pair of gloves and bent forward to kiss Anna on the cheek.

However, she turned her head  and actually kissed Sam on the lips. He froze and only came back to his senses after Anna pulled her head back.

Sam's face was bright red and in the next moment Nina came over and kissed his lips as well. She smiled with a red face before taking Anna's hand and going back to Woodchester.

The twins had already entered through the gate but Sam was still standing on the same position.

He knew that something was going on between himself and the twins, however his first two kisses still came by surprise. Sam wanted to be the one to take the initiative but he wasn't experienced at all regarding relationships with the other gender.

Sam thought about their outfits and alluring bodies and his face got even redder.

' I would never have thought to have something with women like them. This game changed everything, I have to fight for what I have right now, otherwise it will all be taken away in the future!'

Sam swore himself to get stronger to protect everything important to him, which naturally included the twins, his friends and his kingdom.

Afterwards he went back to Woodchester too. He told Nissa to choose a few soldiers who would stay in the village. He himself planned to leave and go back to Blackstone city after resting for two hours.

Sam used the break and visited Rudolph again. He wanted to discuss his new plans with him.

" Unfortunately their leader successfully fled. That means we have to prepare for another attack. We don't know how much soldiers they have, but there will surely be more next time!

We will focus on Woodchester for now. I will organize more carriages and workers, as well as new soldiers to defend this place. We have to fortify and strengthen Woodchester!"

Nissa and Jack entered at this moment.

" Hey Sam, I talked to Nissa and she really wants to stay here and help with managing and defending this place. I would like to stay here with her!"
