Sam listened to Jack and Nissa for some time, while they were telling him their plans.
He knew that both of them had a relationship and liked each other a lot, therefore he didn't want to make it harder for them than necessary. Additionally, he was happy to have strong people, who he could trust inside Woodchester.
He agreed with them and assured them that he would send more soldiers as soon as possible.
Sam went to gather the people who would go back with them and departed one hour later. He and his group reached their hometown without anything happening and Sam directly went to the keep.
He wanted to check his reward points and invest them right away.
His eyes widened when he saw 1.155 points on his account.
" How is this possible? I used nearly all my points before leaving, I got more than 1000 points in not even one day!"
Sam opened an information window that showed him the number of points earned and for what reason he got them. After skipping through the list, Sam found the entry he had looked for.
( Rewarded 1000 points for successfully defending village Woodchester )
Sam tapped the entry and got more detailed information, like the names and classes of his soldiers that had participated in the battle, as well as the levels of the enemy soldiers and number of points earned for killing each of them.
Sam had talked to Linda before and both of them were sure, that the Red Scorpion Tribe will show up again sooner or later. Therefore Sam decided to spend his points to buy new soldiers.
He used 100 points and bought ten Level 2 assassins. He made sure that they were all females.
" The chemistry between them and the twins should be better like this. I also think it is easier for women to enter cities and approach potential targets."
Sam tried to convince himself but he was clear about him being worried of other males getting too close to his women.
The appearance settings were random, however five of the ten new assassins were beautiful in different kinds of ways. The others weren't ugly either, but they couldn't be compared to the five beauties.
Sam brought them to the field behind the keep, where Anna and Nina were practicing martial arts.
" Anna, Nina, I need you two to do me a favor! I would like you to train these ten assassins until we leave with Orkan. If you can get them all on Level 5, that would be awesome."
The twins smiled at him and went on to grab his arms.
" Do we have to start today?"
" We only came back one hour ago, how about we start tomorrow morning?"

Sam stroked their silky hair while nodding.
" That is ok, you two should relax for the rest of the day."
The twins took the new recruits to show them the city. Sam remained alone on the field. He opened the menu and continued with buying 15 archers, 20 knights and 15 warriors on Level 2. It cost him 500 points in total.
After spending 600 points on archers and melee fighters, Sam decided to spend another 100 points, obtaining four Level 5 mages for 25 points each. He ordered the soldiers to show them the training areas and informed Linda to arrange some places to live for them.
" They won't need their own houses for now. I am planning to send most of them to Woodchester and Oakhausen after leveling them up a bit!"
He was left with a bit more than 400 points which he used to buy a few more horses and horse breeders. Sam gave them a field and ordered a few workers to help them with building stables.
After doing all of that, Sam returned to the keep. He was totally exhausted and immediately went to sleep after quickly washing himself.
Sam woke up after sleeping nearly 12 hours. He called Linda who reported the newest happenings.
" Anna and her group of assassins are currently fighting a Level 10 orc boss in the woods. They aren't in danger and won't have problems with killing it. Nina has also left early this morning with her own group of assassins. They told me they want to get them all to Level 10 before leaving the city in a few days!"
Sam laughed.
" Anna and Nina are both really strong. They will injure the bosses and let one of their group members kill it.
Their stats will rise quickly, however they won't experience real life and death fights. You guys have to make sure all of our soldiers go out and fight against zombies, orcs and other monsters. They have to get stronger and know how to fight against different kinds of enemies.
We have to send reinforcements to Woodchester soon and I don't want them to be Level 2 soldiers who aren't really helpful in fights against the Red Scorpion Tribe.
Try to get them to at least Level 7. When they all reach that level, you will send them to Woodchester.
I hope nothing serious happens while I am away but I have to go and befriend the rulers of the other cities."
" I know. It is necessary for us to have friends in our surroundings.
I just got the message that one of the teams, patrolling the surroundings, found a Level 15 boss monster! They fled and just arrived back in Blackstone city."
Sam was surprised. The only Level 15 boss they had seen so far was the dungeon boss Drogan, therefore Sam was surprised to hear one of them being nearby.
" So, what is your current level?"
Linda smiled proudly while stemming her arms against her waist.
" I'm Level 14! I have been killing monsters in my free time, sometimes together with the twins. I have waited for a Level 15 boss to appear."
" Great, then let's go and kill that monster! You should be the next one to level up. I need a strong person to take my place while I'm gone!"
Linda was happy to get the chance of reaching Level 15, so they both agreed to meet at the east gate and enter the forest together.
The soldiers who had returned, told them about a one eyed giant, who was clubbing ogers and animals inside the forest. It was on a rampage, killing and destroying everything in its way.
" If it is inside this forest, we really have to kill it, otherwise it might actually attack our farmers in the future. It is simply to close to Blackstone city."
Sam was talking to Linda on their way to the forest. They created a strategy and silently entered the cover of the trees, listening for sounds of battle.
After they had walked about 500 meters they could hear faint sounds. They followed them and soon could clearly hear the sounds of something big hitting some other big thing. The sounds became louder and louder until Linda and Sam could finally see the boss monster.
A four meter tall cyclops was in the middle of killing a group of three ogers. The cyclops held a big club, with spikes attached to it and smashed it on the ogers laying on the ground.
On of the ogers heads had been smashed into nothingness while the others were in the process of getting killed.
Sam and Linda who were hiding in the bushes stood up to get a better view, when the cyclops turned around and focused his eye on the two of them.
