I opened my eyes and as expected I was back at the start.
I stood up and quickly scanned the field, and saw Yon just waking up.
"Where the hell am i?!"
The same middle-aged guy yelled again, but my mind was in another place.
All I could think of was Yon's lifeless body, that was in front of me a moment ago.
That thought quickly faded as I saw Yon being completely fine.
I said she shouldn't enter the forest, because I thought the field was a safe zone.
That mistake costed her life, and I broke my promise. But the Yon of this world is not dead yet, and I still haven't made that promise.
"Hey do you know where we are?" Lee Min-ho asked.
"No I don't know, go away". I answered with a depressed tone.
I ignored his annoyed expression and started to think again.
A feeling of anger started to get stronger inside me. Anger towards the special boss. Anger towards the monsters. Anger towards this f*cking tower.
But the strongest feeling of anger was not directed towards the special boss, monsters or this tower.
It was directed to myself. Anger for being so weak. Anger for being so slow. Anger for being so dumb.
And the biggest feeling of anger... is for breaking my promise.
The Yon of that world died, and the only thing I could do, was watch as the tower killed her.
That is when I remembered my grandpa's words.
"Always remember that the world sometimes takes people from you, but the world can never remove those people from living in your memories".
Grandpa is right the Yon that I know, still lives in my memories.
"...But that Yon will also never see her parents again".
I said with tears starting to form in my eyes.
Clap!
A loud clapping sound was heard, as I used both of my hands to slap my face. At the same time the yelling started again.
"F*ck does anybody know where i am... Who the f*ck kidnapped me out of my house while i was sleeping?!Do you guys think I am scared of dying, I will fight all of you!"
The middle-aged guy was right, just like him I will train myself to not be scared of dying.
I must become stronger, so I never ever break a promise again.
Ripple!
The angel came again and dropped the weapons.
I ignored everything, and ran to the pile of weapons. I took a sword and ran straight to the west side of the forest.
The west side of the forest had normal goblins with weapons. Meanwhile the north and south had respectively bow and traps.

Therefore the west side of the forest was the obvious answer, if I wanted to get stronger.
Why not the east side? Because I still have trauma and I am not ready yet.
I entered the west side forest and looked for goblins. It didn't take long for me to find two goblins that were alone.
I waited in the bushes, waiting for the perfect time to strike.
One of the goblins turned his back against me, and I slashed horizontally towards his neck.
I expected his head to be cut off, but I missed and hit his shoulder instead.
"ARGH!"
The goblin screamed in pain as my sword was still in his shoulder. I tried to get the sword off, but I was too late as the other goblin thrusted his spear into me.

I looked at the spear that was inside me, and my vision darkened once again.
*****
I woke up in shock and checked where the spear hit me.
There was nothing, and as expected I was back at the start.
"Where the hell-".
"SHUT THE F*CK UP".
I shouted in anger as I interrupted the middle-aged man.
"This is what is wrong with the current generation, kids these days know nothing about respecting their elders!"
I ignored what he said and tried to think what went wrong.
My sword was stuck in the goblins shoulder, and as I tried to get it out the other goblin attacked me.
"..sigh".
"... how am I so bad at fighting?" I said in frustration.
This time I know what to do.
Ripple!
The portal appeared and the angel made his speech and dropped the weapons.
This time I equipped two swords and two daggers, and went to the west side forest.
From now on, I am only going to find goblins that are alone.
After 10 minutes of looking.
I found a lone goblin that was doing his private business. I know it is a bit disrespectful to attack someone while they are peeing.
But what can I do? I am desperate to kill one of these f*ckers.
I rushed towards the goblin and pierced the sword straight through his back and into the tree.
I didn't stop there, I took my other sword out and started slashing.
He probably died the moment I pierced him, yet I still kept slashing out of anger.
"YOU F*CKERS ACTING LIKE YOU ARE DEAD, JUST TO STAB ME IN THE EYE!".
"AND WHY ARE YOU F*CKERS MAKING TRAPS NOW??? WHEN DID YOU GUYS EVER DO THAT???"
I vented my frustrations.
"..and this is for making my sword stuck on your shoulder!".
I did one final slash to cut his head off. The sword being stuck on his shoulder, really wasn't his fault, but nevertheless I was still mad.
I sat down to calm down.
"I finally killed one goblin after 4 regressions".
"I gotta be the worst regressor to exist haha" I laughed in shame and a little bit of excitement.
Well you know the saying 'If you've done it once, you can do it again'.
*****
Slash!
I finally killed the 10th goblin. These goblins really are persistent. After killing one goblin, they always come to get the body.
I don't know what they do with the body, because I keep dying before I see it.
The first goblin I killed, had a group of 5 goblins to pick him up. I only got to kill one of them before I regressed.
But the important thing is, I know how to kill these goblins efficiently.
I find a goblin that is alone or isolated, and then kill it in a sneak attack.
This can be reapeated 2-3 times for each regression before the group gets too big, and now that I have killed around 10 goblins.
[Announcement: You have leveled up!]
I could finally see the fruits of my labor.
"status window".

The transparent status window floated in front of me. My stats increased from 5 to 6!
'That's a 20% increase!'
The weird thing I noticed is that all my stats have a plus symbol next to them.
I could guess it was because of the '[Stat points: 1]'. But what really suprised me is that my 'Mana' and 'Magic' stat had a plus symbol.
I thought that I would be doomed forever to be a frontline melee player. But with this, the dream of being a mage is not that far fetched.
Now the big question is... Will I keep my stats if I regress?
"There is only one way to find out" I said with a nervous tone.
I took out my dagger, and gave myself some comforting words.
"It's only a few seconds, you will barely feel it".
Stab!
I stabbed myself in the eye and before the pain was starting to be unbearable.
