"Why?" I asked confused.
"You are too weak, you should fight in the forest". She said with an apathetic tone.
Her tone was showing that she really didn't care if I continued. But the meaning of her words was the opposite.
She suggested that I should fight in the forest, because I was too weak to go towards the mountain.
She was showing concern, that I would be in danger if I continued to walk forward. But again her tone was cold and emotionless.
Just like how I could feel she was strong, she probably felt the opposite from me.
My stats was around 7 which is 40% stronger than the average person. Yet for her I was still too weak to walk towards the mountain.
"What kind of monsters are over there?" I had to ask.
"Goblins that are twice as big and much stronger as the ones in the forest.
Monsters that you can't fight".
She said as she stared deep into my eyes. Her eyes possessed a captivating beauty that made my heart race.
"You don't have to worry, I have a skill".
"Well suit yourself". She said as she turned.
"I tried to stop him, so don't blame me". She spoke to the air, and walked into one of the straw houses.
Her skill must have something to do with why she keeps talking to herself.
I continued to walk towards the mountain and thought about what the skill could be.
It's probably a person that guides her, and it was probably also that person that told her to stop me.
That would explain the cold tone and why she gave me the information.
She said the monsters was goblins that were twice as big and much stronger. But how much stronger is the question?
They were definitely strong enough that she thought I was too weak to fight them.
I could handle 3-4 normal goblins alone, so if they are only twice as strong, I should be able to kill at least one.
There is only one way to find out and that is too fight one of them.
So I continued to walk forward. A hour must have passed and the road was leading to a stop.
Instead a ramp leading downward to a big forest was there.
"f*ck another forest". I cursed.
I looked at the mountain and it looked like it was at the end of the forest.
I walked down the forest and before I entered. I thought about my previous regressions.
I died once to traps, died to groups of goblins and got almost killed by an arrow because the goblins were hiding atop the trees.
So being careful was a must, and my plan was to look at traps on the ground and archers that could be hiding on the trees.
I entered the forest and the first thing I noticed was.
"It's f*cking dark". I don't know what I expected but I don't have nightvision.

Before the moonlight could be used to see ahead, but now the big trees were blocking this.
I have also only hunted in daylight and never in night-time. Because why would I need to hunt in nighttime when I could hunt in daylight?
I don't have a flashlight or a torch to set alight, so the only thing I could do was accept this.
I unsheathed my sword, just in case if something happened. Well if something deadly happened I would just regress anyway.
I slowly went deeper into the forest and my eyes were getting used to the dark.
The deeper I went the more scary it became.
I wanted to turn back right away. It would've been a lot better if I came here during daytime, but I had to know how strong those monsters were before I regressed.
I didn't want to get jumpscared to death so I kept looking around me all the time.
There was no sign of life and the suspense was killing me. I considered just charging wildly until I die.
Rustling!
I heard something in the distance and I quickly hid behind one of the trees.
It was hard to see but it slowly revealed itself. It had the appearance of the goblin from the forest, but twice as big.
It was probably around 2 meters tall, and it wore leather armor. While the other goblins only had something to cover their private parts.
On it's hand was a steel sword but it was bigger and it looked heavier than the normal swords.
It walked to closer the tree I was hiding behind and it suddenly stopped.
The goblin sniffed trying to smell something. I knew that if he kept smelling he would detect me.
So right now was the best time to strike, as it was occupied.
I ran out of the cover and swung my sword againt his neck.
Clang!
The big goblin quickly blocked the strike with visible shock apparent in his face.
I immediately dashed backwards trying to increase our spacing.
He quickly dashed frontwards aiming his sword towards my upper body.
Clang!
I couldn't avoid the strike so I had to block, but the strike was so forceful it pushed me backwards a few meters.
It made me lose my step as I fell down.
The big goblin did not wan't to let go of this chance, as it jumped trying to end my life.
I did a sideways roll barely avoiding the strike.
I slashed at his side while I was on the ground, so it didn't have a lot of power.
But a wound could be seen where I slashed him.
"Argh". A muffled sound of pain could be heard from the goblin.
I quickly stood up trying to get ready for the next strike.
The big goblin was trembling.
"ARGH!". It shouted in anger, that I was able to land a strike on it.
While it was yelling I quickly ran towards it trying to land a strike.
When I was close enough to land a strike, it was already too late.
The goblin swung his sword in a frenzy and I tried to block.
But after I blocked one strike another would come right afterwards.
I tried to increase the space between us, but the goblin would follow right after me. Like a fly attracted to light.
Multiple sword wounds were made on my body, but not severe enough to activate my skill.
I waited for the perfect chance to kill it. That's when it happened, the big goblin tried to do a big downward strike trying to end me once and for all.
I quickly did what Lee Min-ho did to me when we sparred.
I focused all my power to stab my sword as straight as possible towards his throat.
Focusing all my power on speed, but instead of stopping right before the throat like Lee Min-ho. I pierced it and as I was about to celebrate in joy.
I saw the goblin was still trying in it's last moments to do the downward strike, and that's when I felt a heavy force pushing me down on the ground.

[Returning to the moment you first entered this floor]
But at the same time.
[Announcement: You have leveled up!]
My vision quickly went dark after the announcements.
*****
I slowly opened my eyes, and saw the beautiful blue sky.
"Where the hell am i?!"
The middle-aged yelled again for I don't know how many times.
But it has been repeated so often that it has become commonplace to hear him when I wake up.
I Just layed down and processed all the new information.
First there is another forest close to the big mountain. And the monsters there, is way stronger than the goblins in this forest.
If I had to guess their stats, it would probably be around 10.
This was evident of how he easily blocked my strike. And even when I blocked his strike, I flew a few meters back because of the force.
Second if they get a slight injury, they will go beserk. After I slightly injured him he lost all sense of thought, and just swung his sword wildly.
Third, how strong is the girl in the sports jacket? It looked like she didn't even break a sweat.
I didn't see her at all in the first 3 days of the field, so she must have been at the other forest.
That means she is at least strong enough to hunt there.
That made me think of a different thing. If she was here at the field instead of the forest close to the big mountain when the wolf spawned, would things have gone differently?
She obviously couldn't come here in time, and that made all the weak players that didn't kill monsters just die immediately.
It made Yon die, but I couldn't blame the girl in the sports jacket for her death.
Just the forest close to the field takes around 3 hours to walk out off in a regular pace.
And an extra hour after you have left the forest to enter the other forest close to the mountain.
The one to take the blame was me, for being too weak.
Now I have another goal, and that is to get stronger than the elite goblins.
