Lower Ground - Chamber
15 minutes earlier
The prison cell was a hollow cube of concrete, one way in, no windows. In there you could have no idea how much time had passed or even if it was night or day. It was totally disorientating by design. Given enough time a person could forget their own name in there. The isolation was total and the stimulation was zero. No sound, no light, no furniture or cloth of any kind. It was all an inmate could do to feel the cool walls, but even they were smooth.
Using the chalkboard, the young Don was discussing all of his plans in front of his subjects. He almost finished his sentence and left out some fascinating quote every teacher asked from the students - “Any questions?”
All of them raised their right hands but the young Don proceeded for the next phase. Everyone wanted to interrupt but they were afraid of making him nuts.
“⸺ and that’s the end of my plan.” the young Don declared. “I know you guys fully understand it so well. So I won’t repeat it… again.” his eyes made them gulp.
Herman clicked his tongue. He didn’t want to obey someone else command but his life would peril if he didn’t follow suit. His gaze to his comrades felt his anger. They agreed to go in the flow once they finally found a way to kill the kid.
“Boss,” a lackey asked on his right side, “... why do we need to follow him? We don’t know yet if the bottle we drank earlier was really⸺ y’ know… contains a curse spell.”
His question puzzled his mind but his gazed at the boy’s facade, he knew he was a cunt. He must perceive everything on his control. Therefore, he gave the person who asked the question a cold eye. The man lowered his head and apologized.
But thinking about the situation they were facing right now, they must seriously obey and watched closely. Or this man who cursed them to become his subjects would end their life for no good reason. With one clap on his hands, the young Don asked them to blind themselves. But Herman asked for the reason for doing that. This comment made the young Don got irritated and gave him a punch on his stomach. It didn’t hurt so much but he felt the intensity of pressure of being dragged to hell.
“Don’t you dare question my words.” he gave another light punch. “My words shall be done with no complaints nor questions. Y’ hear me, pal?”
Although Herman didn’t suffer from his beating, he held his stomach because of fear. Fear of losing his life because he thought he triggered something inside of his body. According to his study on their library, he learned that some special magicians were using a light touch to trigger a time bomb inside of their enemies. He covered his mouth and realized his mistake. During that time, he thought the young Don triggered his time bomb. All of his companions were thought that light punch was just a normal punch but it was the trigger of his death flag.
His eyes with mouth agape flooded with tears and his mind screamed so loud of despair. His facial expression made his lackeys thought that the young Don was a powerful tier magician that triggered him to turn into a maniac. This was evidently proven when Herman ran towards the young Don and embraced his legs, begging for his life to be spared.
Without any idea why he was crying out loud, the young Don smiled, kneeled down and told him not to be worried. He said, “... No need to worry. You’re all going to die if you don’t follow me.”

His words made them sweat and trembled their legs.
“Spared our lives,” everyone kneeled for a second, and bow down, “⸺ our lord!”
The young Don scratched his chin and wondered what’s wrong with these men.
“Alright, ” he pointed his finger, “wear your blindfold and don’t remove it until I tell you. Understand!”
“Sir, yes, sir!”
With only their blindfold covered their eyes, Herman and the others had no idea what’s on the other side. Their mouth was covered with their hands as per orders of their captor; they had no clue why they needed to do it, as well. They were walking for a few minutes down straight to the lower ground by stairs.
“Alright,” the young Don’s clapped echoed, “remove your blindfolds.”
Everyone followed quickly. Their sight had finally seen their field. But after they regained their vision, all of them trembled. On their foot was now covered by water from the eyes of common people but it was pee of the monsters. Shallow designs of the scratches across the place. The smell was totally disgusting and made them cover their nose from sniffing it. But the reason for their legs shaking from total despair was the huge worms swarming together in one place.
“... Everyone….” Herman raised his hands and begged everyone, “Don’t make a lo⸺”
“.. W-w-w-we’re in the lairs of the Quoe monsters!” one of his lackeys, mouth agape, cried, echoed the entire room. “Oh, shit!”
The Quoe monsters heard his voice and their heads pointed at their direction. The young Don faced palm, gave a wave of goodbye, and closed the door.
“My lord!” Herman ran towards the door, knocking it several times. That everyone followed at the same time. “Please save us! Don’t let us get eaten alive!”
“Yow, just stick with the plan.” The young Don commanded. “I’ll meet y’all on the other side of this place.”
“But my Lord,” Herman used his body to enter but the door was still intact. “Your plan is absolutely impossible to happen!”
One of them got caught. He begged for help but he was squashed and torn into three pieces. His head got swallowed by the red, his lower body got stolen by the blue one whilst, his upper body was for the last portion taken by the green Quoe.
All of them trembled in fear and some of them pissed on their pants. They didn’t like to become the meal of the creatures and lose their beloved hands.
“Run for your lives!” he ordered, running forward towards the other side. “Follow the goddamn plan!”
All of his lackeys were losing their heads. Some of them lose their legs and rampant randomly like a toy. No one was wanted to get caught but no one couldn’t escape. Scream of pitiful mafia members became a special meal for these carnivorous monsters.
In the midst of the flooded canal, two males in their garrison suit panted from fatigue. When the light of their flashlight enlightened one of their faces, it was Herman showered with his sweats coming out from his face and his comrade named Hildo. A powerful roared on the other side made the two astonished and they decided to continue their run.
But every step they moved, the sounds were getting deeper and closer. It made their hearts to frustrate and prayed for their lives. Some voices from the dark side were sound like being swallowed and pierced into tiny pieces. Their sound produced a loud echo that Herman and his companion covered their ears with tears coming out from their eyes to prevent hearing it. He couldn’t look behind and stopped from running.
These horrors won’t happen if he didn’t accept that kid’s mission. But if he refused, he won’t see tomorrow. With the power of that cursed item he drunk, it would trigger his death flag without his permission. It was just like someone got hit by a long arrow. But now it’s already too late. He’s already on the gate.
What should he do? Should he open it or not.
On the other side was a huge and opened field. It was connected to their library and weaponry storage warehouse. If he opened it, it would become disastrous. But his life was now at peril. What should he do?
