I sat up and was startled by that idiot who's still licking my wounds. She's clearly disgusted by the taste of my blood yet continued licking, this has to be a new caliber of stupid.

I raised my arm and she clung to it like a child trying to stop her father from taking her toy. I stood up and after a sharp breath violently shook my arm in an attempt to get that snake freak off me.

She just held on tighter.

Besides, why is she so hellbent on eating me? Snakes swallow their prey whole and she's no exception, so why is she even licking me?

It's not like I haven't noticed how different I am from other people. I've always been heavier, stronger, healthier, plumper. I hardly got sick, which I credited to my diet, in my prime I could bend titanium steel-alloy, which got me the nickname 'Alexander the Great', but I never felt great.

In modern society an concerning percentage of people were dying from eating too much, yet I can't recall when I last ate until I was full. I always stood up from the table with an angrily growling stomach.

It's not that I was on a strict diet, but that I could probably eat unholy amounts of food in one sitting. If I ate to my hearts content then in one day I'd eat what one would eat in a week, in a week I would eat what one would eat in two months, in two months I would eat more than one would eat in a year.

Yet I kept gaining fat and muscle which lead me to ask one question: what for a monster could I have become if I didn't say no to my stomach? What for a monster could I have become if I did eat a years ration over a month or two? Could I have lifted cars? Could I have become the world's strongest man?

Perhaps if I was great, but I'm not.
