Pretty cool am I right? Dam right I am. I was able to test out each of those skill and I must admit that sadist is pretty dam good healing skill. Since I am as tough as paper I need such an skill since my class doesn't deem survival important.
Just then behind me I heard the sound of wood breaking. Looking behind me I saw a seven feet tall man with long, thick arms and legs and an odd shaped tan and torn clothes break through the only fence that survived.
I took low stance ready to dogde into any direction and counter strike.
"RUN!"
He bellowed without once stopping his dead set sprint. I was confused since the fence didn't even slow him but then I saw what chased him.
Thousands upon millions of ants moving as a single tidal wave consuming anything that's edible.
I didn't need any more reason, I turned and ran. I quickly catched up to the man, I just had to outrun him the ants would be slowed down by him.
"I thought the same."
He spoke as reading my thoughts.
This tale has been unlawfully obtained from Royal Road. If you discover it on Amazon, kindly report it.
"I watched as two whole adults disappeared into the dark flood of ants but they weren't slown down one bit, there's just to many. And even if you somehow outrun them they'll just follow your scent."
I was wondering how he could so clearly whilst haggedly breathing and sweating profoundly. I decided that it wasn't important, I could ask him later.
"We need gasoline, a circle of gasoline should keep us safe."
"Should?"
I asked as my last good breath left me.
"You're seeing what's happening around us, we can't estimate what other bullshit will happen."
Yeah that made sense.
"I remember there being a gas station in that direction, I see no smoke so there should be gasoline."
"I have a slowing skill, you go ahead and prepare the circle."
And with that I activated lightning burst, the world around me slowed and the man who's plan I decided to follow was quickly left behind. I wonder what class he has. Probably one meant to slow the enemies advance.
As I kept moving to the gas station my thoughts wander. But what do I do after that? Will we part ways? But he perfectly covers my weaknesses! I need an partner who can deal with big slow resilient guys and another guy behind whom I can hide behind. Is it too much to ask for? Eh, maybe he wouldn't fit into that role that well anyways, after all I only know that a wooden fence doesn't slow him.
Just as my skill reached its point the gas station was basically in arms reach.

Dammit all the gas dispensers aren't working!
As I was panicking I saw something in the corner of my eye.
Gas!
Someone tried to take the opportunity and get some gas but was forced to abandon it. Well guess its my lucky day!
I quickly made a five meter (16 or something feet) circle in diameter and surprised myself with how perfect I made it.
There's still a lot of gas left.
I decided to circle the whole gas station in gas.
As I hastily closed the circle I could hear grunts of pain coming from the direction where I came from. He wasn't able to outrun the ants but that didn't matter since they couldn't slow him.
I quickly got an cleaning rag since I knew I would need to whip the ants off of him. I got a medium sized one since the smal ones don't cover enough area to be effective and the big ones don't hit hard enough.
The grunts came closer and just like he said the gasoline keeps the ants at bay. I quickly hit him with the rag as hard and as fast as I could. I whipped his head and back and shoulders as he wipped ants off of himself. With each hit he grunted in pain and I could feel both of my passives at work.
Eventually I failed to spot any more ants and he stopped frantically wipping all over himself.
His breath was jagged and he clearly needed rest. His eyes locked onto the convenience store and with heavy steps approached it.
I was relieved since the threat was at bay now.
I decided to just lay down.
Not sleep or something.
I just layed on the cracked concrete floor.
I'm not sure how much time passed but that didn't matter since I was in safety and laying on the ground.
"A pick up truck? And it seems well in shape, might be our ticked out of here."
Woahwoahwoah why is his voice three whole grades deeper? Now he sounds appropriate for his bulky appearance but why all of the sudden.
He's well rested now, prior he wasn't. His voice change probably came from a combination of exhaustion, tiredness dehydration and other factors I'm not smart enough to list.
"But we don't have key's."
"Don't need em, in the worst case I'll need to screw a few things loose."
"We'll run out of gas."
He laughed.
"Don't worry as long it doesn't need diesel to run I have all the tools to make it run on liquor."
Drink and drive.
