Filler chapter

He roared as he tried to get the ants off of him but with each move of his body the ant venom only spread. I watched with glee as with every moment his movements became slower and slower.

Ants aren't considered a threat due to their weak venom and small sizes, yet there's no man who can stand tall against the sher amount of venom of a whole ant hive.

A million bits are still a million.

He fell to his knees as his breathing slowed.

His eyes aren't even open anymore after I told them to target it.

His hand landed on the ground, his other one went limp from the venom. His elbow staggered and I could feel that he's getting closer and closer to falllling unconscious. I was surprised that it took so much venom and many ants died from using their stingers so often in such a short time span.

Even if my plan works out perfectly the hive itself will be crippled.

However I can tell that the Juggernaut is a heavyli defensive class which is quite rare. There classes that can protect but that's not what I mean.

It's not a class that defends the fortress.

It is the fortress.

As long he isn't alone he's quite a problem to deal with and even if he's alone under the right circumstances he could become unbeatable.

Is there a better place to reside in than a living fortress?

Individual subdued, infect Individual?

Yes!

----------------------------------------

I woke up on the ground with a shock, exactly were I was prior.

Stolen from its rightful place, this narrative is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.

My memory is fogy not sure what made me pass out.

"Oh, you're awake."

I looked around, nothing.

"On your shoulder, idiot."

I looked down on my shoulder and found a drone ant sitting there, unimpressed.

"What?"

"You're our hive carrier now so don't die."

I wanted to ask more questions but the drone simply flew into my mouth, leaving me answerless.

After sorting my thoughts I decided to cheek my information panell.

...

Hive carrier, huh?

I should return to the tower and look for a way to gain geomental resonance. I'm sure the answer lats in the library.

Or shouldn't I?

The more experti one class has the harder it is for the class to level up. For instance the boy that asked me for training had it 2x easier leveling up than me and I had it 1.5x times easier than Alice.

If I gain geomental resonance then my progress will be slowed by 2x instead of 1.5x.

Right now focusing on my physike makes the most sense. No matter from where the level comes all of my expertise increase.

So yes I right now have the quality of a lvl 11 hive carrier.

The ants are useful, without a doubt, but if I wouldn't have found that semi abandoned restaurant I would seriously panic since an increased appetite is very expensive. Especially with all that overpriced food.

I should hunt something and then focus on training.

I try recalling the feeling I had when calling forth the dark fog. But instead focused on the hundreds of legs skittering through my body. I tried felling for a male one.

Then I felt gnawing.

I looked down and saw a drone crawling forth from under my skin.

"You have thick skin."

I ignored the comment.

"Scout for something big and slow, or anything that's slower than me."

Without a sound the drone flew away.

I could also send out female soldiers but their much slower than the drones which makes them only good for tracking and not scouting.

I was being resourceful with the drones, they don't have venom in order to mate and have mandibles as weak of that of a worker. The drones are the second most important in the hive after the Queen, they keep the Queen fertilised which allows her to lay eggs.

I looked around and still saw nothing, just a plain field. I sat down as I waited for the scout to return. I noticed that all the insects have been avoiding me, even hornets.

However that's only natural, ants are the humans in the insect world. They know basic architecture and can even deem sticks and leafs good/bad quality. They understand the basic concept of medicine and health care, though they usually die before they need medication. Not like the medication does anything, they understand the concept not the praxis. They highly value hygiene and even Bury their dead, or is sopused to be dead. The Queen can be challenged for the throne by another Queen via a duel, winner gets the hive.

And what makes ants so human: they can make allies.
