Lynn recounted the things that had happened while reminiscing. There was joy, there was heroism, there were celebrations, and there was entrustment. As he talked about the invasion of the antherions, and the tragic death of his parents and sister, tears ran down his face.
There was a whimpering sound from behind as Maya leaned on Yara's shoulder and wiped her tears. Yara held Maya with one hand, and the other hand was also wiping the tears from her own face too.
The other two boys were also silent, holding back their tears.
Lynn finally stood up slowly, and gave a nod to the four friends behind him.
"Let's go back for now." Baldwin put his arms around Lynn's small shoulders and walked slowly down the mountain. The other four students followed silently behind.
"Lynn, if you want to take your revenge someday, count me in." After they returned from the mountain top, Zachar finally broke the silence.
"Count me in too."
"Me too."
"And me too."
"Thank you, everyone." Lynn gave a nod to everyone again and said. "I'm fine now. No need to worry about me taking revenge at this time."
"He's right." Baldwin said to everyone. "Okay, since everyone wants to avenge Lynn in the future, do you know what you have to do first?"
"Make ourselves stronger." Everyone shouted in unison.
"Very good. Since that's the case, then you must work harder. Now, use your fastest speed to run down the mountain, stop by the Old Dockery at the north gate of the city, and buy a pound of bacon before returning here. Those who arrive early will have more bacon to eat, and the last one will have to settle for dry vegetables."
Baldwin gave the order, and all five of them rushed out immediately.
Lynn's mood had also calmed down, and he used the essence power in his body to vent the gloom in his heart.
Baldwin stood there, watching the children's fast-disappearing backs, and did not move for a long time.
"Oh, poor child." A sudden sigh came from behind Baldwin.
Baldwin was startled at first, and quickly turned around. Seeing who the person behind him was, he released his held breath. "Elder Calder, you're here too?"
The story has been taken without consent; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.
"Are you thinking of the past again?" The old chef, standing behind Baldwin, asked in response. Although he had a thin body and gray hair, there were not many wrinkles on his face. Nonetheless, age spots were all over his face. "Sadly, it has been so many years, yet you find it difficult to let it go. Lynn is a good boy, but his life had been difficult, so were yours. But it's time to take care of yourself and educate these children. They are all treasures."
"Yes, elder Calder." Baldwin said respectfully.
"Come on now. You don't have to always call me an elder. Just call me Calder." The old chef shook his head with dissatisfaction and walked down the mountain. He suddenly turned around and walked back to Baldwin and said. "Oh, and pay attention to this kid, Lynn. The way he harness ether is different and a bit strange."
After saying that, Calder walked away, leaving behind Baldwin who kept frowning and thinking about the meaning of his old master's words.

"Zacharoo, I'm watching you." Yara shouted as she watched Zachar running behind her in a sluggish manner. "I know you're up to something."
As a routine weekly physical exercise, Baldwin would let the students go for a run every Wednesday, aiming to improve their physical attributes this way. And on they way, they would pass by the smoked-ham selling shop.
And every time he bought his own portion of smoked ham, Zachar would buy more for himself and eat them on the way back. So every time they were going back, he always ran last.
Seeing that they were approaching the academy, Lester ran far ahead of everyone, Yara and Maya ran in the second place, and Lynn was not far behind them. Looking at Zachar's leisurely approaching figure, it was obvious that he deliberately fell behind them.
At this time, the chubby boy was just finishing the extra ham strands he bought, when he looked up and saw that the other students in front of him were far ahead. He grinned happily. After all, he was a plant druid. So, he took out a seed from his pocket and inserted a bit of essence into it. Instantly, the seed in his hand exploded and turned into a vine whip.
Then, he flicked his hand upward, and the vine whip stretched and wrapped around a branch of the big tree in front of him. He leaped off the ground, and his entire body shot into the air like a flying monkey. Whenever he reached another tree branch, the vine whip in his hand would retract itself from the previous branch, entangling another branch of the next tree, farther away. This way, his body continued to move forward at a great speed.
Repeating this method, Zachar surpassed Lynn and flew over the heads of Yara and Maya.
The angry Yara yelled at him, but Zachar ignored her threats. He turned around and made a face at her. Then proudly, he turned his head forward and swung on his vine whip. But unfortunately for him, the moment he turned his head forward again, he bumped into the sturdy tree trunk which suddenly manifested in front of him.
The other students heard a muffled booming sound as the florist had a collision with the big tree, and then slumped down. This scene of him colliding with the big tree, and the falling leaves, was truly poignant.
Maya jumped in front of Zachar, and looked down sympathetically at his sprawling body. She stretched out her index finger and poked the chubby boy who was lying on the ground like a geese in the sand, but he didn't react at all.
"Don't pity him. It's exactly what he deserves." Yara pulled Maya's hand, and the two of them stepped over Zachar's body and continued to run towards the school premises.
