Chapter 324

Ansel shook his head. "You're overthinking it. The problem lies with the cultivation method your mentor taught you.

"The more you practice it, the stronger your lust gets. With your great physique, you're bound to attract women and romantic opportunities."

Huh? Was Ansel serious about that? Matthew was shocked. When he looked back, the time he spent training with Nicholas in prison for three years was fine and dandy.

But after getting out of prison, his desires for women grew wild and uncontrollable.noveldrama

Whenever he came across a woman, he found himself getting worked up easily. Earlier, he had almost forced himself on Sara. So, Matthew's cultivation had worsened his self-control. At that moment, Sara walked over and quietly stood beside Matthew, as if she was waiting for his instruction.

Ansel waved goodbye to Matthew. "Everything's wrapped up, so I'm going to head off and leave you two alone." Sporting a knowing smile, Ansel turned and walked away.

With Ansel gone, Matthew said to Sara, "Let's get going. We can take my car."

"Okay," Sara responded. She had become much more obedient, shedding the arrogance she had the first time they met.

At this point, Sara was as tamed as a trained kitten. She trailed behind Matthew and left the yard. When he got in the car, she quietly took the passenger seat.

Dressed in a skirt, her smooth legs were exposed when she sat down. Matthew caught a glimpse and felt a little flustered.

After driving for a while, Matthew suddenly remembered something and asked, "Where do you want to stay?"

Sara hesitated for a moment and timidly responded, "I'll go along with whatever you decide."

Matthew clicked his tongue, thinking her words sounded like an invitation to do whatever he pleased. It was distracting him from driving.

He suddenly recalled her bossy attitude when she first showed up and asked him to drive, and an idea crossed his mind. "You must be rich, right?"

Sara assumed Matthew wanted to squeeze some money out of her. Even though she was fuming inside, she kept her mouth shut.

She opened her purse and showed him a card. "I've got some money. There's about eight million dollars in this card. Take it if you need it. If it's not enough, I can ask my family for more."

Seeing how well-behaved Sara was, Matthew felt a little awkward. "I'll hold onto the card for you, and I'll buy you a house and a car. You'll be my chauffeur from now on. Just make sure you're always available when I need you." Matthew had actually asked Sara to be his chauffeur. That was petty. It was obviously just payback, but

Sara was too scared to protest.

"Alright. I'll be on call whenever you need me."

"Great," Matthew replied and pulled up to the hotel entrance. Then, he went inside to get a room at the front desk.

A mix of emotions washed over

Sara. She thought she'd dodged a bullet, but it turned out Matthew wasn't letting her off the hook. With survival being her priority, Sara gave in and quietly stayed behind Matthew.

"Take the card and go up to your room by yourself." Matthew handed over a pink keycard.

Sara was taken aback. "Aren't you coming?"

Matthew gritted his teeth, resisting the urge to follow her along. "I'm not going to your room. Let's just exchange contact info. You have to be on call anytime I need you."

Sara paused for a moment before taking the card. "Aren't you afraid I might secretly head back to Khoitwood?"

Matthew grinned. "You're still paying

your dues now. If you slip away to Khoitwood, I'll come to your place and colleet what you owe." With that, Matthew turned and drove off without giving Sara a chance to respond.

Sara's face was pale as a sheet. She had witnessed Matthew murdering people, and it was much more horrifying than how Hayden did it.

Knowing she'd messed with a terrifying person, Sara clenched her teeth, grabbed the room key, and made her way upstairs.

In the most lively part of Lambda City, an Eastorian restaurant was unexpectedly closed. Inside the restaurant, two people sat at the table, and an Eastorian chef was hard at work in the kitchen.

One of them was a well-dressed man who had his hair perfectly groomed. With a chilling gaze, he spoke in halting Cafranese, the native language used in Lambda City.

"Have you figured out how my younger brother died?"

The man sitting beside him respectfully replied, "The culprit is a person named Matthew Grant, who works for Wealthwave Group. Are we going to kill him?"

Nigel Durbin went silent for a moment, then said with a chilling gaze, "Our priority isn't on personal grudges. We need to focus on the important stuff first. After that's done, we'll go after Matthew of we have the time.

"Stick to the plan I just laid out. If you screw up, I'll deal with you first before committing suicide."
