Epilogue:
A week after the incident that occurred in the Gorgon Cave. A group of 4 return from their adventure. Lloyd is disheartened and depressed after all the things that have traumatized the 16 year old on his journey. George is missing an arm and is just glad that he’s alive. Jolene is facing her last moments as the cancer spread throughout her body. Natalia is fine. Together they finally make it back to civilization. Having been accomplices of the dangerous criminal Sharlan, they know that they can never return to Theta. Instead, they are trying to make it across the border into the Empire.
“At some point, we will have to leave her behind.” said George.
“But she’s gonna die!” argued Lloyd.
“She’s gonna die either way. It’s way too late to help her.”
“Don’t worry about me. I had already accepted my fate when I chose to side with Sharlan. I just want you to carry on and overthrow that tyrant in his honor. I’ve done my part. I will rest here, so go on ahead without me.”
So, they left Jolene to die by herself as they started crossing the border into the Empire. For now, let’s shift our focus to someone whose life was actually positively influenced by Sharlan (rare).
Imma just paste this quote and cite myself so I don’t have to redescribe this character that we met in chapter 16.
““T…Thank you! You saved my life!” said the damsel no longer in distress. This girl had blonde hair with pigtails reaching down towards her collar bone. The structure of her face made her a beauty in practically any attire and physical condition. Her blue eyes sparkled after looking up at her savior extending a hand. She reached out her gentle hand and took a hold of his. While getting up, she patted down her skirt with her other hand. She bent over and grabbed the small basket of vegetables that she had dropped and ran off back to her house, which was barely visible behind the dense trees.” (HieroGlif (The Greatest Author of all time), 16)

This girl was minding her own business when one day a handsome tall, Austrian gentleman came up to her on the street.
“Yo, what’s up my cracker!” he greeted her then dabbed her up.
“The name’s Polly, Polly wants a cracker. Squaaak!”
W pickup line. Anyway, they started dating.
A couple of weeks later, after an intense night of sumo wrestling or something. They were both really tired and sweaty for some reason, they went to bed. In the morning, she wakes up and goes about her usual routine. However, things just feel off. Must’ve gotten up on the wrong mermaid flipper or something. She deals with it and is about to head off to work when she sees her own reflection in the mirror. However, instead of seeing herself, it’s her boyfriend. She realizes that she is currently in her boyfriends body and freaks out.
Screaming she runs out the door and through the street, trying to get to wherever he said he works and figure things out. She suddenly bumps into and old lady and falls over. Getting up, she tries running again and feels her backbone give out. Laying on the ground again, she looks at her now completely wrinkled and old hands and comprehends the situation in its entirety. There is also another thing that she notices. There is writing on her hands and shoulders. It would honestly look like a pretty epic tattoo if she wasn’t so damn old. People are beginning to gather and try and help out the situation.
She notices what looks like a tooth a little past her reach on the ground. She did feel like she bashed her mouth into the ground when she fell. She reached out for it for some reason and suddenly her previous senses were restored. She looked around again and realized that she became her boyfriend again.
Well, anyway, that’s the end of part one. I will be doing a rewrite for this whole book to make it feel like an actual book and not this mess (messterpiece). Don’t expect the same exact story as I wasn’t happy with a huge portion of it. I will rewrite it so that it makes sense and so that we can really experience the Tragedy of Sharlan and his friends. After I’m done with the rewrite, I will do part 2 for which I have some of the coolest ideas ready. Thank you for reading. Please rate or comment or something. Jaa ne.
