First thoughts that crossed his mind were obviously to use the RRR on the remaining hand. As one could probably deduce from the situation with the sensei a couple of chapters back, this was not effective. Sharlan screamed and cried and then eventually threw the hand into the tall grass and ran away.
It’s not my fault. It’s the slime’s right? Yeah, I wasn’t the one who killed her!
Constant attempts at justification and a severe waste of time later, he realized that he needed to move on. Not like completely though, like he is very troubled but he realizes that he can’t do anything about Lesli dying. Sharlan headed back to the place where he parked his dragon.
“Your Grace! What happened! You look terrible!”
“SHE”S DEAD!!!” Sharlan started crying and panting. He then lied (by lying I mean he left out the part where he was the one that pushed her in) about them being attacked by a monstrous slime that dissolves people.
The construction workers were horrified. “I’ve never heard of a slime being able to dissolve someone!”
“I thought slimes were the weakest monsters!”
After some time, Sharlan headed back to the city. He parked the dragon in the facility and wandered around trying to avoid his gang for the rest of the day.
Two days later, Sharlan was curled in a corner of a room, lamenting.
“IT’S ALL MY FAULT! AHHH! ALL OF IT!”
“FBI open up!” Fairyland Bureau of Information or something along those lines.

“What!? What’s going on?!”
The guards broke in through the door and the king was with them.
“What’s going on?! What happened?”
“Sharlan! You traitor! You are under arrest for the death of the Queen!”
“King, is this a prank? Where is the camera?” Sharlan tried to laugh it off, not knowing what exactly was about to unfold before him.
“Guards!” They started using force.
“What?! How!? I didn’t do it!” he jumped out the window
“Guards! Gangban….I mean kill him!”
Sharlan ran outside and attempted to use his magic to launch himself into the air. However, the moment when he cast his spell, his heart stopped and he fell over. The End. Nah just kidding. The guards were about to catch up but thankfully, he fell onto the RRR which restored cardiac activity. What’s going on? Why can’t I use magic! Is it stress? It was just like when Sensei died! Ok, I guess I’ll have to run on foot! Sharlan got up and started running. I just gotta make it to the dragon!
The guards were fast but the Sensei’s training was paying off. However, Sharlan’s brain wasn’t keeping up. He made it to the Dungeon and attempted to enter the credentials, but everything was now locked for him since he became an enemy.
Oh no! I can’t get to the dragon?! I can’t believe that the kingdom is betraying me! I’m trapped! I can’t do anything by myself anymore! I gotta find the others! They’ll definitely understand!
The entire force of the kingdom was beginning to mobilize to try and look for him. Thankfully, his gang found him first.
“Quinci! Help!”
“Sharlan! What happened?” he quickly explained the situation to her and the others.
“Guys please! I’m innocent! I swear!”
“You expect us to defy the kingdom and save you?” said Jolene. “There are six of us here against the whole kingdom! Sharlan! Surely you must have some trump card remaining right?”
“I have nothing left! I can’t use my magic! I don’t have access to the dragon! Nothing! Please help me!”
“Ok I’ll help” agreed Jolene. “We’ll at least get you far enough from the kingdom to keep you safe. You did save all of our lives multiple times before.
“I’ll help too” said Lloyd with a thumbs up. “You did grant me this power after all”
“We’ll help as well” agreed George and Bruh.
“Fine. I guess I will as well” agreed Quinci.
Together, they all escaped the city.
