Gerald was sitting in Saitou's seat by the window. He was moved up one seat after Saitou had gone missing a week prior. However, sitting in the seat of someone who everyone thought had died was not a pleasant feeling.
"He was the last person seen near Saitou." Someone whispered on the other side of the room.*
"I heard the police questioned him but he denied every charge." *More.
Ahh. I can't take it anymore! It's so annoying!
"Shut up!"
The kids who were whispering quieted down. Now, they seemed somewhat moderately partially slightly even more on edge when it came to interacting with him. There were a few exceptions though. Namely, the replacement class clown, Noel.
"Hola, como estoy?"
"Great!, absolutely amazing! Wait, what? You can't even make me feel better?"
"Listen, don't listen."
"Yeah, honestly, you're probably right. So what's going on today?"
"I was gonna go do some calisthenics at the park. Wanna come?”
“I mean, sure. Got nothing better to do.”
The class went on and soon the bell rang. Gerald and Noel started heading to the park. On the way there, they suddenly heard footsteps.
“Oh hey, look who showed up.”
“Yo dab me up, fam. So, where are you guys heading to?”
“We boutta hit pull at the park today. You in?”
“Sure, I’m down.”
At the park, Gerald and Noel and the third character started stretching and preparing for a ferocious calisthenics workout.
“Yo, Gutts, pass me the rings from my bag.”
“This one?”
“That’s Gerald’s.”
“Oh my bad. Which pocket is it in?”
“Just open it up and you’ll see them in there.”
“Uhh, no, still don’t see them.” He started to scavenge and throw things out of the bag.
“Bruh, wait, I got it.” Noel just headed over and pulled them out himself. “Bro, how did you not see them, they were literally on top.
“Sorry, I’m a bottom?”
Ok, anyway, now that I’ve revealed the last character’s name and such, we can move on. The group started with a warmup set of bodyweight pullups on high bar.
“HEY! I WAS GONNA DO THAT!”
This freaking annoying kid just started to try and use the bars right in front of the group.
“Hey, kid, do you wanna go play over there somewhere. We were about to start a workout.”
The narrative has been illicitly obtained; should you discover it on Amazon, report the violation.
“NO! I WAS USING THIS!”
“Bro, can you even reach that high up?”
“YEAH I CAN! WATCH! I’LL SHOW YOU!”
The kid started climbing onto the dip bars on the left to get up onto the pullup bar. When he got up, he attempted to jump from the dip bars and grab on, but his foot slipped and he fell off.
“FUUUUCK!!!”
“Bro, is your mom around?”
“NO! SHE WENT TO THE STORE!”
“Anyway, you should move over, cuz we are going to be training, and we don’t want you to get hurt if one of us falls.”
“WAIT! LET ME TRY!” He grabbed the rings that Noel just set up and started trying to hold himself upside down, but kept rotating as he lacked the necessary core strength to pull himself up. He actually managed to make a full rotation.
“SEEE! I DO THIS ALL THE TIME. I’M THE BEST IN THIS PARK!”
“Ok, guys, let’s just move over to the bars on the other end of the park.” said Gerald. The other two agreed.
They started their workout and it was going well, until the kid came over again and started talking.
“HEY! GIVE ME THE RINGS BACK!”
“Bro, no, bring your own set.”
“BUT THEY’RE MINE.”
“I literally have two witnesses here that I brought these to the park.”
“ACTUALLY! I OWN THIS WHOLE PARK! EVERYTHING IN THIS PARK IS MINE! SO, SO THAT MEANS THAT, THAT THOSE ARE MINE!”
“Listen, these aren’t yours. Go back to your mom or something.” Said Gerald.
“Yo, if you do a flip right now, we’ll let you have them.” said Gutts.
“I CAN DO A BACKFLIP! WATCH THIS!” he did like a half cartwheel to the side with his legs barely leaving the ground. “SEE! I DID IT! NOW LET ME GET ON!”
“Bro, that was not a backflip. That was more like a backwards trip.” said Gutts.
“NO! ARE YOU BLIND?! I JUST DID IT!”
“Wait, let me see it.” said Gerald.
The kid repeated the terrible motion and stood up looking very proud of himself.
“Ah hell nah! That looked like you just attempted to fall but failed.” said Gutts.
“Bro, if you can’t do anything, then just get out of here.” said Noel.
“WHAT DO YOU MEAN!?” (with a inclination in pitch and a voice crack at “mean”)
The gang laughed at the kid and tried going back to their workout. But the kid kept trying to get in their way. Anytime, one of them performed a relatively complicated trick on the bars, the kid automatically appeared and tried to repeat it. He kept rushing from one place to another and never actually performed any of the moves with any degree of technique. Then, things started getting worse.
“IT’S BECAUSE I NEED CHALK!” He ran over to Noel’s bag and started digging through it.
“Ayo, bro. That ain’t cool. There’s plenty of chalk on the bar, you don’t need any.” He tried grabbing his bag, but the kid picked it up and started running away. Noel chased and quickly closed the gap between them. He basically picked the kid up with the bag and tore it out of his grip.
“Give It Back!”
“WHY DO YOU NEED IT! YOU SUCK! I’M BETTER THAN YOU!”
“Bro, you can’t even do one pullup!”
“YEAH I CAN! I’M GONNA GO TO THE OLYMPICS WHEN I GROW UP!”
“No you won’t!”
“YEAH I WILL! YOU’LL SEE!”
“You don’t seem too smart. I said to go away!”
“YOU’RE NOT SMART! MY TEACHER SAID I GOT THE HIGHEST GRADE!”
“Good grades in elementary school won’t get you anywhere.”
“YEAH THEY WILL! I’M GONNA B..BE AN ASTRONAUT!”
“No you won’t! Just get out of here!” Noel walked back to the bars with his bag. The kid ran up behind him and kicked him.
“Bro, I ain’t playin’, get out of here before I whoop your ass.” said Noel.
“WHEN MY DAD WILL COME BACK FROM THE MILITARY, THEN HE'LL BEAT YOU UP!”
“NO! No, he won’..” he pushed the kid back and he landed on his face. FUUUUCK, I didn’t mean to go that far!
The kid started crying and screaming. The other two guys came over to see what happened. The kid’s nose was bleeding.
“Hey hey hey. Kid. Calm down. You’re fine.” said Gutts while pulling out tape from his bag to help bandage the kid’s face. The kid was not stopping. His crying just got louder. “Noel, come help me out.” He looked back and saw Noel sprinting away.
“Yo, let’s get out of here before the kid brings more attention!” said Gerald and started running away too.
Gutts bandaged the kid’s face with the tape and calmed him down a bit. Soon, the kid’s mother finally came over and saw her son with a huge piece of tape wrapped around his head. “Oh my god! What happened? Did you do this to him? Come here baby. Answer me or I’ll call the police.”
“No, no, no, he fell! It wasn’t my fault.”
“NO, HE PUSHED ME!” said the kid who wanted to get vengeance.
“Hello police….”
Gutts sprinted out of there as fast as he could.

The next day, the three friends were back at school again chatting about the incident the previous day.
The teacher came into the room and class started. They all went back to their seats and endured the lecture. When class was over, Gerald, Noel, and Gutts all decided to go to the cafeteria to eat lunch together.
“Guys, you can go ahead, I just have to ask the teacher something about the homework.” said Gutts.
“Ok, we’ll be at the usual table.”
The two headed out of the room and started walking down the hallway.
There weren’t too many people in the hallway as they had stayed back in the classroom for a while to talk as soon as break started.
Guts puts his stuff into his bag, and then leaves the room. He runs down the hallway and turns. Near the end of the hallway, he sees his friends talking about something while walking pretty slowly. There are only a few other people in the hallway making noise, but this is enough to cancel out footsteps. He decides to sneak up on them for fun.
A couple of seconds later, Gerald and Noel felt something wet on their backs. Gerald tugged on the side of his shirt to try and see what it was. He notices a huge stain on his back. They turn around to be met with a strong scent of iron.
The hallway was painted red. Guts were sticking to the falls. Blood was dripping from the ceiling. Faces were turned at the scene. No one said a word.
