Shujin Kou and his soldiers were on their way to what they thought was the direction of the capital.
First, let’s focus on Sharlan’s gang though.
“Guys, there’s no way he’s dead right? Like he’s the main character right?”
“Yeah, he probably found a way to create a fake copy and hid himself or something.”
“Yeah, he shouldn’t be able to die if he has the RRR? Right!?”
“But then why didn’t he kill Shujin Kou or at least revealed himself to us already. It’s been at least 5 minutes since they left.” said Bel who was more objective. “In other words, I don’t think he’s coming back.”
Some of the side characters cried and swore to avenge Sharlan. Then they started their pursuit of Shujin Kou. Eventually they caught up to the enemy.
“This doesn’t make sense at all! Why does this road cut off here? Where is the rest of it? It’s almost as if the whole continent was rotated.” (it was) Shujin Kou was confused
“Stop! Shujin Kou! I will take your life and avenge my friend Sharlan! His death was undeserved!” yelled Lloyd

“Oh yeah? I’d like to see you try. Before, you were known as the only person capable of standing at The Divine Healer’s side but now, without the Aso’s power, you’re just a rich spoiled brat! Do you really think you have what it takes to defeat me?”
“There’s one thing about me that you don’t know.” Lloyd flexed and all of his clothes flew off. “Sharlan had granted me this power. And with it, I will avenge him!”
He charged at Shujin Kou, who started to cast his String, however, instead of a fireball like what expected to see, a rift appeared between them. “WHat?...”
“Did you really think that the extraneous ability was the only thing I was capable of? Don’t forget that every human has access to the four elements. This isn’t the only card up my sleeve though. Just try me!”
“Guys, I need your help…” Lloyd started saying as a boulder collided with his face.
What? When did he manage to cast that? I didn’t hear an incantation.
And again.
“This isn’t the only card up my sleeve!” another boulder flew at him. Oh, that fucker! So that’s part of his String!
Lloyd regained his focus and this time he didn’t fail. He dodged everything thrown at him and quickly made it into melee range. Shujin backed down and started running.
“After him everyone!” Everyone started running and they headed up the mountain ahead of them. Shujin’s guards tried to fight the rest of the gang off, but they were no match. Soon everyone followed Lloyd and Shujin. Nearing the top, there was a cliff that Shujin nearly fell off of, but stopped. Lloyd didn’t stop, however, and they both fell down into the valley below, Shujin kept yelling trying to cast something, but Lloyd shut his throat and prepared for impact.
When they landed, Lloyd tried to restrain Shujin but when he looked at the wrist he was grabbing onto, he realized that it wasn’t Shujin’s. Instead, there was a statue of a person. Lloyd quickly backed away trying to reassess the situation. Soon, it hit him. In front of him was a whole army of petrified soldiers and Shujin had escaped.
The sight was freaky. What really disturbed Lloyd was the fact that there were bones and meat scattered all amongst the statues. Clearly human flesh. Soldiers facing the (it’ll parallel Sodom and Ghomorrah when I figure out which direction later) were petrified and the soldiers facing the other way were torn to shreds. It was a certain death no matter what.
Lloyd realized that he needed to follow Shujin’s example and get out of there as fast as possible so he quickly started climbing up the cliff.
