“You think she’d get jealous over that? The dragon isn’t even humanoid.”

“Do you realize how many times you’ve made jokes about laying the dragon?”

“Well, Hmm.”

“Hey Lesli, wait up!” he tripped on something and as she turned around, he managed to fall on top of her in a very plot position.

Recuperation and then later they were ready to go on the quest.

“I’m sorry about earlier!”

“Ok, Imma go prep the dragon for the trip.”

Sharlan left for some time. The dragon was being held in a deep bunker that had thousands of chains placed on it to make sure it is completely safe. (it’s not. They didn’t see the dragon perform earth.remove() and enemy.kill())

This is such a pain. I don’t understand why the kingdom doesn’t just let me keep the dragon outside for easy access. I hope they are at least feeding it properly.

He finally entered the facility. There were a bunch of tests that he needed to pass before he could access the deeper chamber. These included Iris scanners, passcodes, and a bunch of other tech stuff.

The door finally opened and Sharlan entered the room with the dragon. It was chained to the ground with minimal lighting. However, it did not seem to care as it was sleeping.

The dragon woke up. It destroyed the chains immediately and didn’t care about how expensive the facility was.

Sharlan mounted the dragon and opened the hatch that looks like a missile silo. Then they both flew out of there like a missile.

He landed the dragon at the guild and all the other adventurers started looking at the dragon in awe.

“Your Grace!”

“Sharlan~”

The other adventurers were greeting the hero. Sharlan was happy to be receiving praise but then he heard what sounded like Lesli’s yell.

“Haha. What were you trying to do? Are you an idiot?”

“Mghm. You simply caught me off guard. Let’s try this again.”

Sharlan beat him up.

“Sharlan! Thank you for saving me!” Lesli was holding on tightly to his arm now.

“Oh, it was nothing!” he said scratching his head.

“Is your finger okay?”

“Yeah. It should be fine. Plus I can just heal it.” he did just that. But then suddenly Lesli took his hand and kissed his finger.

“That’s a good luck charm!” ☆

They started preparing for the trip when Sharlan suddenly had an idea.

“Hey Lesli, do you want to get stronger?”

“Uh, yeah. Why?”

“Remember how you told me that any training that you do doesn’t seem to make your magic power grow at all?”

“Yeah. Did you find something that could improve my magic?!”

“Sure did. Follow me.”

Lesli was sitting in a seat.

“So what exactly will this do?” She asked Sharlan standing next to her.

“Well I’m pretty sure this is to show your “resolve” or something, but from where I’m from, every girl that does this suddenly gets 10x stronger from this. It must be similar to the power of friendship or something.”

“Girl? But I’m a guy.” 💀

“Um sure, I didn’t understand that last part, but if it works, it works.”

And so, Lesli proceeded to get her hair cut. Once she was done she was about to look in the mirror.

“WAIT!” Sharlan yelled out before she could.

“W-what!?” Lesli yelped, startled.

“Put these on and take them off immediately. I’m not sure if it’ll work since you don’t usually wear them, but maybe the effect of the hair will rub off on them as well.”

Lesli complied and put on the star shaped glasses handed to her and took them off immediately.

“If only there was better dental care here, we would have been able to put on braces for a moment as well” Sharlan muttered.

Lesli looked at the mirror unimpressed. She didn’t really feel any stronger. Concentrating, she started to release some mana in her hand.

The whole room was suddenly blinded by a light and filled by the screams of the unsuspecting barber. Sharlan threw some money at him and he instinctively shut up.

“Woah! I’m really stronger! How does that work?! No really, how?!”

“I’m glad to share my Int Factor knowledge.”

They rode the dragon to where the quest would take place.

Sharlan kept thinking about Lesli holding on to his arm and kissing his finger, She was so soft. I wish I could’ve been in that position for longer.

When they got to the location of the goblin cave place, they met with the team working on removing the water.

“Yo, what’s up Mario!” said Sharlan to some random guy.

“Your Grace! I’m so honored that you know my name!”

What the heck? I didn’t actually expect that to be his name.

“Your Grace. We must ask you to wait some time before you can go into the cave and begin the battle with the beast. There is still too much water inside.”

“No problem. Take your time.”

“Yo, Lesli, do you wanna go take a walk around the place while we wait?”

“Sure, I’d go for a stroll.”

I gotta try and hold her hand during this stroll!

They started talking about their previous quests and how they were going to deal with this monster if it turned out to be stronger than the dragon. Sharlan’s mind was constantly occupied by how to get closer to Lesli. He started fantasizing all kinds of scenarios with her.

They were walking on a small ridge and they could see some small creatures moving a little below. Huh, that slime looks pretty big. Wait a moment. Change of plans. This slime looks just like that slime from the cave where I first killed a troll. This must mean that it’s the classic ecchi slime! Wait, this might be a once in a lifetime situation. He looked at Lesli who smiled back at him.

“Hey Lesli!”

“Yeah, what’s up?”

“You think we should take care of these slimes?”

“Sure. Why not?”

“This will be a good opportunity for you to try out your new power!”

“Yeah, you’re right! I’ll show you that I can stand where you and Lloyd and George are!”

She was excited to prove to Sharlan that she was useful now.

She took a step towards the edge and started casting a spell when she fell right into the slime (Sharlan’s doing of course)

She started squirming. “Hey! Sharlan! Baka!”

Suddenly, her clothes started dissolving and she started trying to cover up her privates. “Kyaa!”

Sharlan was enjoying the scene. YES! This is what an isekai should be!

“Sharlan. Baka! Stop looking! Get me out of here!”

“I will, give me a moment.” He started walking down.

Lesli gave out a yell. She was now completely naked. Suddenly, something felt wrong. Her body was turning redder. She began to yell in pain. “AHhh! It hurts!”

Wait, what’s going on?

Lesli’s body started dissolving starting from the skin. “Sharlan! Get me out of here!”

“I’m trying!” he started casting a spell, but then the magic was absorbed by the slime’s body and Lesli started dissolving even faster. Her muscles fibers were torn apart. She was screaming in pain. Oh, no! This isn’t what’s supposed to happen. What do I do? The slime seems resistant to magic! I gotta pull her out myself! The rock should protect me!

He reached into the slime, grabbed her hand and started pulling. Then he flew backwards still holding her hand. Yes! I did it! I pulled her out! “I’m sorry Lesli! I’ll heal you right away!” He looked up and realized that he was just holding her arm now. The rest of her body must still be inside the slime. He looked back and saw a skeleton whose bones were almost dissolved. And then, they were gone.
