Chapter 6 : The Quest For Magic

Days passed in our quaint village, and my curiosity about magic grew with each sunrise. I found myself crawling aimlessly around the house, pondering how to learn more about this mysterious force that seemed to hold such power.

One afternoon, I ventured into Ellie's room, where I found her sitting cross-legged with her eyes closed in deep concentration. The afternoon sunlight filtered through the window, casting a warm glow over the room. Ellie's posture was serene, her face peaceful as if she was communing with something beyond my understanding.

"Why is she sitting in that position?" I wondered silently, drawn by the aura of calm that enveloped her. I watched in quiet fascination as a faint glow began to emanate from Ellie's pelvic region. A small ball of light materialized, shimmering with hues of red and gold. Mesmerized, I leaned closer, captivated by the beauty of the swirling colors within the orb of energy.

"Wow! It's beautiful," I whispered to myself, breath caught in awe of the spectacle before me. The core of life force within the ball glowed in a mesmerizing red hue, pulsating with a vitality that seemed almost palpable.

Suddenly, a gentle wind stirred within the room, causing Ellie's hair to flutter and her clothes to ripple. With unwavering focus, Ellie spoke a single word in a calm yet commanding tone, "WIND TECHNIQUE - LEVITATE."

As if in response to her command, the air around Ellie came alive with a rush of wind. It swirled and coalesced beneath her, lifting her petite frame off the ground with a grace that defied gravity. Ellie hovered briefly in the air, a look of determination etched on her face, before the wind faltered and she descended with a soft thud on her bottom.

"Ouch! Not again," Ellie muttered ruefully, rubbing her sore behind with a wince of discomfort. Despite the mishap, her resolve remained unshaken.

"I must keep trying harder, to be strong enough to protect my siblings," Ellie declared with determination, her voice tinged with unwavering bravery as she resumed her meditative stance.

Witnessing Ellie's display of power left me both awestruck and inspired. The sight of magic in action ignited a yearning deep within me—a desire to understand, to wield this mystical force for the greater good.

"I want to learn too," I resolved silently, feeling a stirring of determination in my heart. With newfound purpose, I turned away from Ellie's room and crawled back downstairs to our family's library. Each movement was infused with a sense of urgency and anticipation.

My determination driving me forward. "I must read that book to learn faster, to protect my family," I declared resolutely to myself as I entered the library.

With each page to turn and each spell to learn, I would grow closer to unlocking the potential within me—a potential that would one day shape the destiny of not just myself, but all those I held dear......

Entering the library, I felt a surge of excitement within me and with a resolute smile, I whispered to the silent room, "I will unlock my potential. I will protect my family."......
