24: THE HEIR
"Mr. Ungator, if I may ask, who are you and who are these beings? What is the cup doing in the world I live in? What happens when they get there, and why choose me?" I exhale, feeling overwhelmed. "There are more questions, but please answer these ones," I plead.
Ungator smiles mischievously. "[HEHEHE], I will answer those questions as I see fit," he begins.
"Firstly, my origin cannot be known, for I exist only when a message needs to be told," he says cryptically. "As for those beings, they vary in origin, races, and motives. Some want the cup for power, while others seek to protect it from ever being used."
"I can't answer why the cup is in your world, for it chooses where to reside," Ungator continues. "And you already know what happens if they get there, so I won't elaborate on that."
"And lastly, you asked why choose you," he chuckles. "I didn't. The Absolute One did."

"But I thought you said he's dead?" I interject.
"I did. But his vengeance lives on... and it lives in you," Ungator replies solemnly.
"Me?" I said in shock of what he said.
"Yes, his anger, his rage, his pain, his revenge, his darkness, his bloodlust—they are all stored within you," Ungator explains. "It's your choice, Either let it consume you or Tame the Beast."
"Those eyes of yours, they are his eyes. Can't you see it? You used them when fighting my hound and those men in the dungeon," Ungator points out.
"You mean the lights," I realize aloud. "I aimed for those faint lights when fighting the men in the dungeon and saw them in Mr Ungator hound. Are those their weaknesses?" I ponder silently.
"I thought I hadn't awakened yet. Why was I able to use it?" I ask Ungator.
"Those are not awakened powers. They are Heirs Power [A POWER GIVEN TO A MORTAL BY AN ENTITY], and you are not the only one who has the heirs power. Other higher beings have given their powers to heirs in pursuit of the Primal Cup," Ungator reveals.
Suddenly, a strange alarm [BEEP---BEEP] sounds in the void.
"Oh, I think my time here is up. I've told you all there is to know. I'll be going," Ungator announces, turning toward a strange door that appears out of nowhere.
"Wait! You haven't told me what my Heirs Power is yet," I protest.
Ungator pauses, then turns back with a knowing grin.
"It's called—"
