We did it boys. We've reached the end of book 2.
To be completely honest, this was the part of the novel that made me the most anxious. When I began writing this story, I had a concept in mind – a concept for which I hadn't yet found a name. In my mind it was just a story about a greedy, fearless, ageless, schizophrenic lunatic with a system that existed only within his mind, causing chaos here and there for a God (Dragon) who had clearly abandoned him.
Initially, I wanted to start this story with book 3 (where the juicy and punchy part of the story begins). Then, I would summarize the rest of the story from books 1 and 2 in the form of random backstories that pop up here and there. However, I eventually gave up on that idea and decided to create two whole books about Dream's origin. Writing book 1 was easy, but book 2 made me lose confidence as it felt more like a regular high fantasy than an actual litRPG. I'm sure many of you readers felt bamboozled when you saw how few litRPG elements there were in the story, especially considering the story is mainly marketed as such. I apologize for that. I just hope that what's coming next will make up for it (I think it should.)

By the way, I wanted to take some time to express my gratitude to Colin Clark, my sole and only patron on Patreon, lol. You're the realest.
I also wanted to take a moment to thank all my readers for your support. The fact that you've read the story thus far means a lot to me. I'm not a guy who writes for writing's sake; I write because I want people to read what I've imagined. So, without you guys, I would've dropped this story ages ago, like I did with "Marauding Gods" and "Third Iteration." Thank you all for having come this far.
If you wish to provide further support for "They Who Slither Through the Stars," you can visit my Patreon page, leave a rating or review, or simply leave a comment. I read those and appreciate the feedback they often provide.
Unlike last time, there won't be a hiatus, but I won't be posting tomorrow (it's Friday, and I don't write or post on Fridays). So yes, daily chapters will return to the menu on Saturday.
Anyway, that's all from me for now. Goodbye. I'll be back.
