The main idea displayed in this text file was a hypothesised mana fusion reactor. With mana being a source of energy just by itself, what if there was a method to fusing different types of mana to yield much greater power output.
With his estimations, he found that exosuits and support bots could be made to fly for much longer periods of time, and be made much larger. Exosuits of the high-tier were already capable of flight but this was in short bursts, and large support bots -known as juggernauts- couldn’t last very long on the battlefield.
They were also a sitting duck, which meant that they required great durability, further increasing their weight and hampering their movement. It was a risky design and was only employed by a select few daring armies.
Suddenly, Cael’s mind shot back into reality, and he was forced to rush out of his hotel room so that he wouldn’t miss his spaceflight. Just about making it to the spaceport in time, he took his projector with him and continued reading on during this flight.
As he returned back to Saevis then his humble abode in Carlo City, he continued reading the other special text files within the folder.
Cael was mainly taken aback by the idea of the mana fusion reactor. If he could manifest that sort of idea before anyone else and patent it, he’d instantly be in competition with some of the largest military tech firms out there.
Such a technology would just be too useful to be overlooked.

Reading this book, there was another hypothesised ability of exosuits and support bots and this was labelled as kinetic reabsorption. Attacks like blunt trauma from gauntlets and other attacks of that sort were damaging through the kinetic energy they carried. Even energy blasts had the force behind them to knock people over, without even considering the explosions the blasts would engender.
If this force could somehow be applied to the exterior of an exosuit and stored, it could then be converted into a usable form of mana in mana cores, then extracted using etherisers. Even if this wouldn’t be possible, he could use another storage type, like traditional batteries, to hold this energy then re-use it later.
Again, this idea was mind-boggling to Cael. It was quite surprising to him that other people hadn’t thought of ideas like this before. Well, he was sure that they had done, but they just sounded too far-fetched to be possible.
However, he could tell that this creator had the mind to fabricate those ideas. There was no limit to what his mind would attempt to realise.
During this time, Cael continued on his training in his cadet institute, receiving sudden attention from his classmates due to his successes. Just like the Breckenridges, there were those that were unaccepting of his success and found methods in their mind to dismiss them. However, others just played the game of sucking up to those that were above them.
The only real reason that some people were ready to accept his success and talent was because he was of the Breckenridge family. His lack of talent was already odd to begin with, coming from a family where both of his parents were somewhat successful soldiers in the Soburg Empire.
They weren’t high ranking, but even gaining a relatively middle-to-low level ranking warranted sufficiently large mana reserves.
Along with this, the utilisation of his cyberjutsu fighting style was something that many of the fighters that he went up against deemed awkward and annoying to deal with. His defence was so sharp to the point that once he landed an attack, he’d be almost impossible to hit.

He’d spring right out of range and remain untouchable. For those like Vanessa and other talents, they were just too fast to deal with and they could still deal with him in similar fashion.
Even after his win over Keagan, he hadn’t managed to defeat him since that point since he would take their spars very seriously.
Another idea described in the creators introductory files was the idea of a nuclear railgun. A long railgun, about 100 metres or so in length, could use the power of mana to accelerate a cannon-sized pellet at high speeds. Additionally, this pellet could then possess explosives like nuclear fusion explosions, and other forms to totally eviscerate whatever it would land on.
The kinetic energy behind the blast could be a main factor toward its destructiveness, and the exterior of the pellet could slowly shave off and ignite in the air, adding to the damage. Finally, the nuclear explosion at the end would only further the destruction, completely decimating a large area.
This idea even sent a chill through Cael’s spine. The other ideas were obviously going to be used in malicious ways, but they just seemed far less brutal. The loss of life at the hands of this railgun would cause so much loss and suffering that he didn’t even want to think about it very much at all.
Finally, there was one more file for him to read up on. He was quite interested in the previous ideas that had been explained to him, but they were all just theories. With a business to expand, he wanted something that he could immediately implement to make a profit from.
These were introductory files, and he was aware of how this system functioned. He was likely to receive more rewards and information in the future. However, these nuggets of wisdom that Cael was being left with made him even more adamant on fabricating those previous ideas.
Upon reaching the last file, he immediately felt excited upon reading its title.

With the word blueprint specifically stated in the filename, he had his hopes up. He greatly anticipated what would be within, and swiftly got to reading it.
The first few pages introduced him to the functioning behind energy shields. It was quite the revelation to him, because a lot of what was being described to him was new. Even after working with these components for so long, he didn’t truly understand their inner workings.
There was still a lot more to learn before he could become a well-versed mechanic.
After describing the main workings of the energy shield, the creator then went on to describe a new model that he had created, designed to drastically decrease the energy usage of such items. Along with that, he described that this model had the aim of making energy shields more common within lower tier exosuits and support bots.
The main system revolved around a low-energy power system located within the forearm of an exosuit or support bot. The complex explanations and needless jargon in his explanations made it somewhat hard for Cael to follow, but he was bright enough to piece things together as he read on.
As he continued reading up on this model, he was dumbfounded by its efficiency and elegance. He’d somehow managed to totally transform the model of the energy shield, ubiquitous in military level exosuits, and make it seem even more innovative than it already was.
His model didn’t exactly do anything that the common energy shield didn’t already do. His idea was not to make the energy shields even more durable, or any different physically for that matter. What he intended to do, and what he achieved, was to make it extremely efficient.
There was a projection of the energy shield on a hologram of a person, along with another projection showing the smaller, intricate components that constituted this design.
Cael was truly awestruck upon inspecting its delicate, complex parts. Even with their complexity, there was order to the madness. With deep enough analysis, he could see the several described parts of the model, and just laughed as he realised that everything would work perfectly.
Not only was the energy shield model great for minimising the energy usage of an energy shield, but it could also be applied elsewhere. The main feature of these components was that they were very interchangeable, and utilised similar basic compartments, on which specialisations and slight alterations were applied.
If he could try and apply this efficient use of mana to other components in any way that was feasible, he could really milk this great innovation to the absolute maximum.
“Just who is this guy?” Cael wondered with laughter, after shrinking down the projections with a single finger swipe.
This creator was an absolute mastermind. Why would people be out to target and possibly kill him?
He understood the threat that he posed; any side in a war with him assisting them would be given the immediate advantage. However, wouldn’t that make armies want to usher him toward their side, and not just eliminate such a brilliant thinker?
