"This is a lot to take in. I think I understand the system, but what's the bigger picture? Why was it created?"
The system's primary goal is growth and expansion. It seeks to empower all beings.
"But why? What's the point of all this growth and power?"
Perhaps it's not about need, but about want. Every living being, and even many non-living ones, desires growth.
"Unliving beings? So, I'll be fighting undead creatures?"
The multiverse is vast and diverse. Humans are just one race among many, and not even a particularly powerful one. As a human, you'll gain one stat and one skill point per level until you gain a class. It's a modest start.
"Great to be average, I guess. So, before we dive back into system menus, what's the plan? I know I'm leaving in six months, but what do I do until then?"
We'll prepare you. The system has created a custom dungeon for your training. It has 50 levels, each more challenging than the last. You'll be sent to the next level twice a week. In the final week, you'll do four runs. You can choose the days, but you need at least two days of rest between runs to absorb the gains. Additionally, you should focus on learning and practicing skills. Aim to reach Tier 3 in your main skills and Tier 2 in the others before you leave. This will give you a solid foundation for your new life."
"So, what do I need to do to get ready for my first dungeon run?"
Learn some skills, practice them, and gather some gear. Let's continue the tour.
"Okay let's continue with the tour I guess."
Let's talk about your inventory, go ahead and think 'Open Inventory'.
Item Name Quantity Description New User Welcome Package 1 A collection of items for a new system user. Contains 10 copper and 1 silver coin. 5 food rations, 5 water bottles, 5 common bandages, 1 book of general system knowledge, 2 common healing potions, 3 common system shop tokens.
Your current inventory is Level 1 and is a subskill of the System Skill. Skills have 10 tiers, each with 10 levels. Once you reach level 10 in a tier, you advance to the next. The skill tiers are Novice, Apprentice, Journeyman, Expert, Adept, Master, Grandmaster, Sage, Transcendent, and Divine. You'll level up skills through use. For example, your Level 1 inventory has 10 slots. To increase it to 2, you'll need to use it frequently, like storing and retrieving items. At level 2, it becomes a 25-slot grid, and at Tier 3, you can stack items 10 at a time. All skills and subskills work similarly. You also have shop tokens, which you can use to buy common items from any system shop you have access to.
"Simple enough," Robert replied.
There are several other menus that you won't need for now, but it's good to familiarize yourself with them. Open and close the Party Menu, Spell Menu, Bond Menu, Quest Menu, Equipped Item Menu, Profession Skills Menu, Skill Abilities Menu, Guild Overview, Member, Property, and Inventory Menus. Also, check out the Friend List and the Log Menu.
"Done," Robert confirmed.
Good. Now, let's look at your skills. Open the 'Skills Menu'.

Learned skills are essentially subskills of larger skills. For example, calculus is a subskill of mathematics. These subskills rank from 1 to 10 within their parent skill's tier. You can close that menu for now.
