"Welcome to Dungeon 7883667HG8776DE985762763FF7-1 currently called The Training Dungeon," the dungeon AI announced.
Robert looked around and saw that the room was the same as before. Deciding to just get started he went to the System Store and opened the inventory.

Seeing the new items, he decided to use his token on the weapons package. He immediately replaced his shortsword with the longsword, feeling a noticeable increase in power. As for the bow, he decided to hold off for now. He wasn't sure if he wanted to invest a skill point to learn archery, especially since he was already proficient with melee weapons.
Stepping into the first room, he was met with an unexpected sight. The room wasn't empty; it was a cavernous space, dimly lit, with a makeshift campsite huddled around a flickering fire. Six humanoid figures, smaller than humans, sat there, their features vaguely familiar. A quick identification revealed them to be common goblins.

Robert had been expecting this. The guidebook had warned him about the prevalence of goblins. He retreated a few steps, casting a protective spell before unleashing a volley of air bullets. The goblins, startled, let out a cacophony of unintelligible screams as they charged. Robert deftly dispatched the first one with another air bullet, then switched to his new longsword. The goblins, armed with crude wooden clubs, proved to be no match for his skill and superior weapon. He quickly eliminated the rest, earning 10 coppers and 35 experience from each fallen foe.
The campsite yielded no valuable loot, so he pressed on.
The second room was a carbon copy of the first, and he cleared it with similar ease. The third room, however, presented a new challenge. There were six goblins, but two were archers.

He prioritized the archers, but they managed to fire a few arrows, all of which missed. The room was soon cleared, and a notification appeared:
Level Up!
The fourth room was similar to the third, but with more enemies: eight goblins, six fighters, and two archers. He focused on the archers first, then turned his attention to the melee fighters. Despite a few hits, his armor and protective spell kept him safe.
The fifth room was a different story. It was larger, with two separate camps, each containing six goblins, including two archers. He knew that charging in recklessly would leave him vulnerable to a barrage of arrows. Consulting his spellbook, he added a windscreen spell to his strategy. He planned to cast it towards one camp while focusing his attacks on the other.
After refreshing his shield spell, he rushed into the room. A windscreen spell was erected between him and the leftmost camp, and he unleashed a flurry of spells at the right camp. He was nearly finished with the first camp when the four fighters from the left closed in. Meanwhile, the archers had spread out, trying to find openings in his defenses. He dodged several arrows, but two managed to strike his shield, doing no damage.
With the first camp neutralized, he turned his attention to the remaining archers, spamming air bullets while dodging the attacks of the four remaining fighters. Once the archers were eliminated, he focused on the melee fighters, bringing the battle to a close.
The sixth room was similar to the fifth but with seven goblins per campfire, including three archers. Employing the same strategy as before, he cleared the room with relative ease.
Level Up!
After the sixth room, Robert decided to take a much-needed break. He consumed a food ration and a water bottle to replenish his strength.
After ending his rest break Robert headed to the next room, which appeared to be the last. There was only one campfire this time with eight goblins one of which looked different so Robert used Identify on it.
Name: Common Goblin Shaman
Class: N/A
Race: Goblin, Tier G
Profession: N/A
Gender: Male
Stats: Str 5, Dex 12, Con 7, Int 9, Wis 6, Cha 3
Level: 5

Robert paused. This goblin was different. Its ability to cast spells marked it as a shaman, a dangerous foe. He knew he had to prioritize the shaman while keeping an eye on the three archers.
Refreshing his spells, Robert initiated the battle. Immediately, he noticed the shaman's shield spell, which deflected his air bullets. Before he could react, the shaman launched a green orb at him which missed and hit the wall. It slithered across the surface, a clear indication of its corrosive nature. He switched his target to the archers, spamming air bullets while dodging the shaman's attacks.
After a tense minute, the last archer fell. Robert turned his attention to the four remaining fighters guarding the shaman. A few moments later, the last fighter was defeated. He charged the shaman, but his first few sword strikes were deflected by a protective barrier. Finally, a powerful blow pierced the barrier. Three more strikes later, the shaman was defeated.
After ensuring the room was clear of any remaining goblins, Robert looted the fallen creatures. Besides the usual copper coins, the shaman dropped a spellbook containing a series of Tier 1 spells from the School of Destruction. While he wasn't planning to take another magic skill, the opportunity to learn new spells was too enticing to pass up. He decided to take the skill upon returning home.
As soon as the last goblin was looted, they vanished, and a chest appeared.
