The sound of the front door opening pulled Richard and John from their conversation. Stacey, their younger sister, burst into the room, her face alight with excitement. "I'm home!" she announced, dropping her backpack onto the couch. "Hey, Stace," Richard greeted her, trying to hide his growing anxiety. "How was school?" "It was fine," she replied, her attention quickly shifting to the spellbook in Richard's hands. "What's that? Is it a new comic book?" Richard hesitated, unsure of how to explain. "Uh, kind of," he stammered. "It's... it's a book about magic." Stacey's eyes widened in disbelief. "Magic? Like real magic?"
Before he could explain further, Robert and Sara entered the room. Robert's voice, usually so comforting, now carried a somber tone. "Everyone, gather around," he announced. "Stacey, your brothers already know, but something is about to happen that will change all of our lives."
Fear flickered in Stacey's eyes. "Did we get a transfer? Are we moving? I don't want to leave my friends!" Robert gently placed a hand on her shoulder. "Calm down, sweetheart. You're not moving. I am." Confusion clouded Stacey's face. "What do you mean, you're moving? Wait, are you and Mom getting a divorce? You can't do that! We're a family." Robert shook his head. "No, your mother and I aren't getting a divorce. I'm being... sent on an adventure."
With a heavy heart, Robert opened the system log and showed it to Stacey. Her eyes scanned the screen, a mixture of fear and disbelief washing over her face. "Wait, what is this? Is this real?" "I'm afraid so, princess," Robert replied, his voice filled with regret. "And no, I can't get out of it. And no, no one can go with me." Stacey ran to her father, wrapping her arms around him tightly. "But Dad, that's not fair! You can't leave."
Robert pulled her close, his voice gentle but firm. "I know it's not fair, and I wish things were different. But I have to do this. All I can do is get ready and make sure you all are taken care of. I know it's hard to understand," Robert said, his voice filled with regret. "But I'll do everything I can to prepare you all for the future. You'll have everything you need to be happy and successful."
Stacey's tears continued to flow. "But I don't want anything without you, Dad. You're the best dad in the world."
A heavy silence fell over the room. Finally, Stacey spoke, her voice barely a whisper. "So, what happens now? What will you do?" Robert took a deep breath. "I'll get ready. The system will train me for the next six months, and I'll use that time to help you all too. As I learn new things, I'll teach you. I have a plan, and it will set you all up for a bright future."

With that, Robert outlined his plan to use his teaching skill to impart the knowledge they would need to succeed in their chosen careers. Everyone agreed that it was the best course of action.
Then, Robert turned to a more pressing matter: secrecy. "This isn't something you can share with your friends. For starters, they probably wouldn't believe you. And if word got out, I'm pretty sure men in black suits would show up to have a chat." He paused, his expression serious. "Do we all agree to keep this a secret within the family?" Sara nodded. "I think we can all agree that telling the Men in Black would be a bad idea."
John raised a hand. "Yeah, this isn't something anyone needs to know. But what will we tell people when they ask where you went?"
Robert pondered the question. "That's a good point. We'll need to come up with a plan for that. Actually, Richard gave me an interesting idea. While no one will be able to cast spells in this universe for a long time, we can prepare our future family." Sara looked puzzled. "What are you getting at?"
"Well, we can start by copying the spellbook. It contains every Tier 1 spell for various spheres of magic. I doubt anyone else in this universe will have access to such extensive knowledge. I'll also be returning eventually, so I can guide our family and help them become leaders in this new reality."
Richard's eyes lit up. "Wait, you can create mana stones, right? And you can enchant items too?" Robert nodded. "Yes, I have those skills."
"So, we could create powerful magic items to protect our family and ensure our future," Richard said. "Even healing items, right?" "Probably," Robert replied. "I still need to experiment with those skills. But where are you going with this?"
Richard grinned. "What if we created items that could heal anything? We're worried about the Men in Black, but maybe we could work with the government. We could explain the situation and offer them some of these items in exchange for protection and to ensure they leave us alone."
Robert pondered the idea. "That might work. However, I think it's best to wait until I level up a few more times and unlock my class. I have a feeling I'll be too powerful for them to mess with eventually. But your idea could be a good way to generate income for the family. I wonder how much the Secret Service would pay for a healing item for the President."
John grinned. "Or items to protect the President from almost anything. Good work, little brother. You came up with a great idea." Richard smirked. "I usually do." Stacey's eyes widened. "Do you think they'd actually pay money for those kinds of items?" John chuckled. "I'm thinking they'd pay a lot."
"Okay, so once I reach level 20 and figure out my capabilities, we'll figure out how to approach the government," Robert stated. "For now, I have a few days before my first dungeon run. I'll continue studying the spellbook and gathering supplies."
"I'm going back to my office," Robert announced. "You kids should head to your rooms and think about all of this. We'll talk more at dinner. And Richard, give me that book back." Richard reluctantly handed over the spellbook, a pout marring his face.
