B01C011 - Classes, Skills, Experts

-And here are the findings.

-Thank you once again Revil, you have no idea how much that helps and you even mapped the dungeons.

-It would be the last thing I did in Grafted City, I wanted to go with a bang.

-And a bang you did. Here.

Title acquired Beginner Completionist

Title acquired Helper

-It’s not much, but I believe you deserve them.

Titles, finally! These are “sensed” by the NPCs and it’s easier or more difficult to get things, help them, get quests and the like depending on the Title equipped

-No, no. This is great, thank you.

-You’re more than welcome, and here.

Elaria gave a small booklet.

In it it had information on Revil as an adventurer as well as a few pages saying they are being sent in a formal job to the other cities to complete quests for them.

-So I should just show this to the guards in front of the gates?

-Yes exactly.

-Ok, then, I think I’ll just finish a few things and then I’ll be ready to go.

-Of course, no need to hurry. You’ll be there to help them.

-Oh, also, I have a question about Skills.

-Ask away.

-Some of mine hit level 40, and they don’t seem to level up anymore. I remember there is something about turning them Expert right? How do I do it?

-Most basic Skills, which is your case, you can just ask the Guild who gave them to you, they can turn them into Expert through gold, but anything past that you gotta discover yourself.

Huh, so there is a post Expert.

-Ok, ok, thank you Elaria, really. You’ve helped a lot.

-Humph, good for you to know and don’t forget us here in Grafted City after you visit the other ones.

There were many Mixed Classes, you needed just to have Skills from two Classes and then you’ll be eligible to turn it into one of the Mixed Classes.

That makes so every combination of every Base Class has a Mixed Class.

As they aren’t really hidden, a spreadsheet was made with the name of all the Classes.

It was a very simple one, but it had the base class of each type and the mixed ones. There are rumors of Advanced Classes, but no one appeared with one yet.

Seven Basic Classes, twenty one Mixed Classes and five Hidden ones.

The tale has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.

It was quite the amount of Classes, and if what Revil thought was true, there were more Hidden Classes.

When it comes to getting Skill, should I go slowly?

Also… Should I post about the Super Novice Class?

It could be something all mine.

I, I… Damn, this is hard. When it’s something you care about suddenly you get defensive about it.

I’ve put online all about summoner and the enemies and loots. I should put about the Super Novice.

Yeah, it’s the right thing.

WIth a heavy heart, Revil wrote in the forums everything he knew about the Super Novice Class and how to get it.

He left the forum as soon as he published it.

I can get some info on the Mixed Classes here in the Guilds. I don’t need to go to the forums.

He was clearly running from it.

But he did get info on the Mixed Classes.

Quarrel Shooter, the melee ranged Class. It specializes in hand crossbows and small shortbows. Most of the Skills seem to be about debilitating the enemy with flashes, pinning them to the ground and the like. Almost like a Dodge Tank with Crowd Control.

Magus, the perfect mix of magic and weaponcraft. It had magic Skills and the main Skill for its Class, the Spellblade Skill, you imbue your weapon with a magic Skill, and it added it’s properties to it, the higher the Skill level the more charges you’d get.

Paladin, The holy tank Class. Imbue your armor and weapon with divine magic to get bonuses to each. Release the magic imbued with high damaging effect like Smite, or creates bubbles of Aura that buffs allies.

Barbarian, use your rage to fuel your abilities.Different types of Rage give different bonuses. A very straightforward Class, I wonder how Rage works on your mind.

Mercenary, get buffs when promised to get paid and increases its time and power when you do get paid. Also the more money the better buffs. Truly a Class for those crazy for quests.

Duelist, hit where it hurts. Use your knowledge of weapons and fighting to control the battle and do smaller and weaker Sneak Attacks during the entire fight. A debuffer Class that gives physical debilitations.

Arcane Archer, imbue your ammunition with magic, be it for increased damage, to freeze your enemies or even magically poison them. A magical debuffer Class.

Divine Arrow, much like the Arcane Archer, imbues your arrows for various effects, but now even the arc of your arrows can give special buffs and debuffs.

Stalker, Mark your enemies and never let them go. Watch for their weakness and do the most Sneak attack you can in a burst.

Evaluator, everything has numbers, characters NPC’s, items and creatures. Use all your senses to determine information on anything.

Slayer, use all means to end your enemies. Poison is your main weapon against anything and it's your best friend.

Red Mage, Jack of all magic and Master of none. Learn from every magic type and element, but never really master any. A truly flexible Caster.

Druid, control the powers of nature as if by magic, be it the earth, animals, sky or the sea. A Class that had a lot of Crowd Control Skills.

Alchemist, turn your magic physical and sell it, or use it in battle. Can transform magical Skill into physical form and bottle them.

Trickster, magic is a tool and you can morph it to help you with what you need. A Class that gets Skills that help physical performance, more of a boost yourself Class.

Shaman, the spirits of nature are divine, and can be reached to get powers and buffs. Use the power of natural spirits to buff yourself, others, or cast powerful magic Skills.

Absolver, use money as sacrifice for your deity. The more money the bigger the effects, be it your money or the others.

Renegade, you’re the shadow of the light, gain the secondary Domain of your deity and use it to do things people wouldn’t imagine an Acolyte should do.

Nomad, the solo leveler Class. Learn how to fight different beasts, with different weapons, with different strategies, but get a better bonus when not in a party. The less people the better.

Trapmaster, trap, stop, control everyone around with your tools.

Bandit, money is everything, especially others. Rob them of their items, their money, even the skin on their back, and who knows you might even rob them their powers.

The main difference between a Mixed Class and a Basic Class is the flexibility. Basic Class get Skill that simulate Mixed Classes, but none that strong, Mixed Class however have Skills that defines their play style.

That’s why, someone who likes better flexibility in their build, would choose a Basic Class over a Mixed one.

Should I try to get Skills from all of them at once? Do I even have the gold for it?

There are 21 Mixed Jobs, I should get like a third of them first. That I can do.

So… Quarrel Shooter, Magus, Paladin, Barbarian, Mercenary, Duelist and Arcane Archer.

Debilitating Wound Skill acquired

Stackable Magic Skill acquired

Holy Armor Skill acquired

Holy Armament Skill acquired

Frenzy Skill acquired

Wildness Skill acquired

Money, Money, Money Skill acquired

Increase Gold Received Skill acquired

You and Me Skill acquired

Deep Trauma Skill acquired

Focus Skill Acquired

Debilitating Wound from the Quarrel Shooter gives me a chance to dive a debuff on the enemy every time I attack a second time on the same place. From Magus, I got Stackable magic, which gives me stacks of magical drops every time I hit with a magical attack. Holy Armor and Holy Armament Skills both give me an extra bar near my health which increases with time, it should be expended to use certain Paladin Skills, but I hope to gain something on the next levels.

Frenzy and Wildness are both from the Barbarian, one increases my attack for every second I’m in combat, the other gives me a bonus to defense if I’m unarmored, which is fine I guess, but I’ll have to think how I’m going to play if I’m using this Skill.

Money, Money, Money increases my buffs the more money I have, Increase Gold Receives, literally increases a percentage of the gold I receive from quests and the like. They are from the Mercenary Skill list.

Duelists gave me You and me, which increases my buffs when I’m fighting one on one and Deep Trauma debilitates the enemy when I proc Deep Wounds, the debilitation changings depending on where I hit the enemy.

The last one, Focus, from the Arcane Archer Skill list, increases de damage the longer I hold the attack. If I get a stun from one of the other Skills, this will be perfect.

I think it’s a good set of passive skills, there’s a lot of buffs to my buffs, which is great.

I leveled up a lot of my Skills too, to Expert, and now I’m sure I get a new bonus for each level of expertise.

Things… are getting too much on my character sheet.

Am I ready?

Am I ready now?

Should I leave the city and just go?

I need to see everyone I know first.

First Elaria.

-So that’s it Revil?

-Yes, I’m going now.

-Well it was fun while it lasted. Be careful of the other cities, I don’t really know what they are like.

-Thank you Elaria.

-I see, so we might not see for a while?

-Exactly.

-I’ll miss the jobs you might get me haha, making Buffa’s armor was fun. But aren’t you going to update your armor? I mean, you’re still wearing what I made you like a month ago. You must be getting killed a lot.

-Thankfully I have a lot of CON, and can heal pretty fast, but I see your point. I actually got a Skill to get unarmored defense, but I do like this look.

-Turn it into a fashion accessory then.

-What? How?

-I can turn it, I made them. Well some of it, the gauntlets you can ask Masa.

-How does that work?

-I use a skill to turn it into a fashion accessory, so when you equip it, it shows you wearing it, but it’s not really your equipment.

-Please do that!

-Of course, just unequip them for a little while.

-I see. I can do the same, yes, just give me your gauntlets for a while, I’ll work on them.

-Thank you Masa.

-No problem. I know we didn’t make that much together, but you know what, I’ll miss you. You helped a lot with materials in the beginning.

Here he was. In front of the gate out of the city. But this time he wouldn’t be coming back, at least for some time.

Have I gotten everything?

Food, check. Potions, check. Skills, check. Unarmored, check. Buffa? Check. Jack-O? Check also. Paper and writing utensils? Check. I also got a few journals.

Ok, time to go.

The continent of World Online had the format of a long “I”, with the lands and seas being supported by electromagnetic fields, or at least that’s what players think. Scarot Kingdom is in the far south.

Revil would have to pass a few villages and towns before reaching Rosalian Kingdom and a few more till Nala City.

He walked slowly, taking his time and looking around.

It’s been a lot of running everywhere and doing the quest all the time. Now he thought it was best to take his time. He knew when he got to the city he would go full quest mode and do it everyday.

It was thanks to this that he could see the differences of when he first came to the city and now.

Having the help of players, a lot of ingredients, items and materials could be collected. This way the advancement of the tests and studies to better farming could go on faster.

Where once you would see barren lands full of dungeons, now had smaller farms, each with crops clearly growing.

It was almost magical the sight.

The farmers were clearly happy and you could see in some of them some people doing evaluations.

Grafted City was bound to get better and better with time.

With the time of his walk he could read the forums too.

Some arguing was happening, players in Grafted City could get the Super Novice Class, but from the other Kingdom and Empire, they couldn’t. Now there were some players saying it was unjust and it was the developers fault, and some who even thought it was a prank from Scarot Kingdom players.

This just makes me more sure there are more Hidden Classes.

-What do you think, Buffa?

Well, he won’t really answer me.

Jack-O seemed excited, as if it knew they were going somewhere different.

As any road going out of the Grafted City, a lot of dungeons could be seen.

All of them, for now, were finished by Revil. But he still kept a close eye to any new one.

It was nice seeing so many dungeons and so many with people outside, taking some time before doing more dungeon running.

As farther he went from Grafted City, the more Barren the land and soon, the more wild it became.

Not in tree and shrubs and wild nature, but wildlands, strange bumps in the terrain, trees coming out of nowhere, twisting themselves as if welcoming someone, rock formations with caverns.

All of these are dungeons and it felt as if someone just put them there in any other, just to have the dungeons.

These were close to each other.

As if to show they were far from the village.

Some of the dungeons Revil still remembered doing, but as he made so many, he couldn’t remember them all.

He still had to look at his journals and confirm the enemies and the items you could get in them.

When the terrain started to change again he knew he was halfway. Now, the “dunes” dungeons increased, while others decreased.

This was the area of the Tekka Boss.

After this area he would be outside, officially, of Grafted City.

This was one of the easier parts, he still remembered making the map of the place, so in half an hour he was out of it.

This, this was the time.

He grabbed his utensils, and started sketching.

This was a new area, with new dungeons, new items, new things.

And through the horizon he could see it too.

A new town.
