There were two bosses in the vicinity of Grafted City.
The Orc King was on the field. It has a vast area where many types of orcs lived and attacked anyone who came close.
It was the very first part of the game where I think you NEED a party.
I only know crafters, so I’ll need to look for a few players, but it shouldn’t be hard.
The Orc King will be the fastest, or the longest one. Not only is the area pretty big, but I have no idea what to scavenge from him.
I’ve thought of nails, hair, even skin, but I guess I'm gonna keep myself to loot. From the screenshots of the fights against the Orc King, he usually wears a lot of different crowns, armors, some fetishes and things like that.
Hmm…
Thinking like that maybe I don’t even need to fight him, but record the type of items you can get from the different kings.
It respawns about every 10 hours, so during that time I can continue leveling and fighting the other creatures.
Let’s go!
Revil went to the area of the Orc King.
Having finished the dungeons of his journals, he had one more new thing to do.
A new journal.
This one specialized in the Orc King Area.
It takes about 1 hour and a half walking.
Luckily he wasn’t alone. Buffa and Jack-O were with him. Jack-O wasn’t much of a talker, but he had a very curious personality, it was always flying around, as if looking around what was happening.
Buffa, on the other hand, was very calm. It walked to no end in the direction asked, but loved staying put in the same place.
Usually Revil would choose a central place and leave Buffa and Jack-O together, mostly because he doesn’t want Buffa to feel lonely. Then walk around the place chosen, hunting for what he needs.
One thing that Buffa really likes is the grooming sessions.
The brushes were thick and long to penetrate part of their fur, and there was a part of its body, around the shoulderblades, that Buffa seemed to like the most when being groomed.
Jack-O.
Jack-O had no way of being groomed, but Revil still tried a few things.
A Wisp is supposed to be an existence before a fairy, and fairy were very curious right?
So he would tell stories about what he did and was doing. Showing what he would do to each animal part.
Jack-O seemed interesting.
He hopes so.
This time too. It gave him some time to think about what happened to him during the conversation with Elaria.
It was weird.
He loved this game, but things became…
Stale.
Now things got back to what it was, but maybe he should think about his gameplay again. Not the passive part, but how he actually plays the game.
He should run around, find quests, and meet new people.
He was so stuck to what he was doing, things became… mechanic.
And that almost killed the game.
Maybe these journals. He should stipulate a time, maybe one week focusing on it, and another doing something different.
Maybe he could really focus on it for a while, he IS going to the other States to do the same. They should be kinda like Grafted City.
Minus the dozens of dungeons.
Let me look around the forums about the cities.
There are many cities and villages around the Kingdoms and the Empire, but each one had a main one.
The Scarot Kingdom had Grafted City.
The Rosarian Kingdom had Nala CIty.
The Glaiveton Empire had Louis City.
Grafted city was, as Revil knew, known as the mutant city. Where it grows and changes in weird ways and directions, using all types of materials.
Nala City was known as the beauty city. It had many artists, and art works, like statues and fountains. It was one of the main cities to start as a performer too.
Louis City was a militaristic city, as the Empire. It’s said to be very squarish in architecture and with an infrastructure that seems to be made beforehand from the ground up, so nothing is out of the way. Almost the opposite to Grafted City.
From the three cities, Performer, Brawler and Tamer had all been found, but Summoner hadn't.
If what Elaria said can be taken… between the lines, maybe there is a new class in each of these cities.
And I happened to find the one in Grafted City.
Should I find the ones in the other cities? Hahahaha.
In each of these new cities maybe I should meet a few crafters, like I did here.
Speaking of it, I should really get new armor. It’s almost embarrassing.
I know the materials I can get and with these new bosses I can get new materials.
Yes, update armor before traveling.
It doesn't take as long when you have a lot on your mind.
Soon Revil was in the right area.
High fences circled a huge area and walking around it you would soon find Orc Guards on the entrances.
Okay, time to go to work.
Taking out some papers, he started sketching the Orcs and their equipment.
He had fought humanoid enemies before. A few bandits, although Grafted city really doesn’t have this type of enemy.
“Orc Guards always come in two.
Usually one with a spear and another with a sword, sometimes a shield.
Their armors are very simple, made of leathers with some metals in some parts.
They always come with a helmet.
Lootable: Weapons, armor, helmet (equipment). Has about 3 variations of said equipment. Send these loots to the crafters you know to dismantle them and turn into workable material.”
Together with the description small drawings with the variations and little scribbles with some examples of crafters that could want those materials.
One day passed.
-There, one creature made whole in the journal. I should spend about a day or two each creature, they spawn very fast so I can get all of their variations.
Orc Lady, Orc Guard, Orc Warrior, Orc Spearman, Orc Shaman and Orc Tyrant.
All of these creatures were found and cataloged in the papers, all with their found variations and drawings and scribbles.
It took a little more than a week to catalog them, but he didn’t finish them in a journal yet. Not only did he need to fight the Orc King, but also there might be rarer variants.
Getting closer to the area where the Orc King spawns there was already one party fighting him and a few parties waiting in line, as well as a few people looking for parties.
I should say hi?
-Hello-
-Looking for a party for the Orc King, we need a healer.
-Hi do you need a party? Are you a healer? Tank? DPS?
-We have a tank, looking for a Healer!
Oh my god. Ok, a lot of shouting.
I should look around.
A party consisting of 5 people, I should look for one that needs one more person.
There were four parties looking, two on line and one fighting the Orc King.
One of the parties had 4 people.
-Hi?
They all looked at Revil.
-Sorry about bothering, but are you guys going to fight him a lot?
-Him? Ah, the king? Not sure yet.
The red dyed one responded.
-We’ll probably fight him a couple of times, just to get the feel.
The longbow Wearing one said.
-So, I have a proposition. Could you guys help me? I need to do a loot table of the Boss materials.
Unauthorized content usage: if you discover this narrative on Amazon, report the violation.
-Why?
-I’m doing journals with the loots and items of each monster.
Revil then showed what he had for now.
It wasn’t really a secret or anything. He even posted on the forums.
One of the players who was playing with a net stopped in his meddling.
He went to see the drawing and his eyes bulged.
-The Compendium…
He looked directly at Revil.
-Are you the Compendium Maker?!
-Hmm, if you mean the forum compendium, yes?
It was then the four players Ooed together.
-Come now, sit here.
…
They were in four.
Myst the trapmaster. He specialized in nets and traps and mostly preparing the field to stop and kill the creatures.
Gab the Redmage. He was the Healer and the Blaster of the group.
Vivi the Slayer. With a trusty crossbow and poison in his pockets he was the DPS of the party.
Rae the Stalker. The last one with a gigantic longbow, was the Burst Damage of the party.
They had no tanks, the most that could be said to be a tank is Myst, with his Crowd Control.
After discovering Revil identity, they talked a lot about the Compendium, how he started and how it was going.
Revil in turn talked, explaining about the quest from Elaria, about the merchants and crafters as clients and his routine.
Soon they were talking strategy and accepted Revil in the party to fight the Boss.
The first group fighting, Revil lost it, so he couldn’t keep track of the items. But he was sure to keep track on the next.
Myst fell in love with Buffa and got excited about all the bags and places to put items.
Vivi in turn liked Jack-O and kept talking about stories about fairies of his in real country.
With new things to talk about it soon became the turn of the second party and then their turn.
This Orc King wore a feathery crown and used a double edged sword.
The fight was a crazy affair.
Myst would go around the field putting traps during the fight and throwing nets and pulling on it so the boss would fall on the traps.
Rae ran the moment the fight started and used the skill of the rogue to hide himself. Every now and then an arrow would be launched right of the critical spots.
Vivi was the opposite, the amount of bolts he shotted was amazing, always imbuing them with poison to paralyze, to deal more damage, even to slow him down.
Gab would yell orders and show the best places for hiding, putting traps and things like that.
Despite not having a tank, having a Crowd Control in traps and poisons helped a lot.
And after about 20 minutes, the king fell.
…
Grinding a boss is very hard.
There are always other parties and it takes 10 hours to respawn.
Revil fought against the Orc King many times, some times with the guys' party, others with other parties and once he even did it alone.
Although he died when he tried alone.
Every time the boss appeared he kept his eyes glued to it.
He found 5 variations, mostly that looked like different kings from different cultures.
After revealing his compendium some parties even let him take a closer look at the items looted so he could draw them.
From feathers, to swords made of stones, to beautiful crafted swords and heavy armor.
The king had it all.
Revil spent one week there. He fought the boss six times.
He defeated many, many, many orcs. Always coming back to the spawn area to get into a new party.
He got back to the Grafted City with his spoils and information and started making his journal.

He even got to make a rare item.
He would give it to Elaria and she could make copies from it and other people could then buy it from the Guild.
The third bonus was from his Skill.
He was ready for the next boss Tecca. A giant half woman half insectoid creature.
Elaria even called him saying the documents were ready, but Revil was focused.
He would finish this.
The area of the next boss was a mix of on field and dungeons.
Like a true anthill, one cave led to another, that led to a mini dungeon that led to another dungeon.
This boss was the most annoying, because she could appear anywhere on the anthill.
So Revil started work.
Hunting and reviewing each creature he fought, using his Drawing and Cartography Skill to map out the place.
“Tecca always comes from the ground, and she digs and burrows a lot for moving.
It uses its natural weapons, like its arm like appendages and even its own chitinous body..
Their chitin is VERY hard and the easiest way to win is to break it. However, the chitin, as was with many other insectoid enemies, probably have amazing magical and physical properties and should be tried to maintain its form.
Lootable: Chitin, Blood, antenna and the thin chitinous membrane of its underdeveloped wings.. Has no variations, but has different sizes.”
Once again, together with the info there were drawings, scribbles and info of all the parts as well as attacks of the boss.
This one he spent a week once again, but he fought 12 times. Almost all the possible times he could possibly fight her during a week.
Showing how annoying the players see her.
…
It’s been one month and 2 weeks since the game has come out.
Oliver is making some coffee after finishing up against Tecca.
Things have been hectic and probably will be even more.
The closest city to Grafted City is Nala City in the Rosarian Kingdom. I should go there first.
I can also get some new Skills, I should look them up before going too.
Maybe just a few, no need to go all out.
Or should I?
How much money did I get?
Bah, I need to get into the game hahahah.
Player Johanna Has made very close friends with Dwarves.
Now the Race can be chosen as a starting race.
As this is the first unlock, each player will get a Fantasia, an item needed to change its own appearance and race.
The next ones will be paid for.
Good luck players!
Huh, that’s new.
Looking around his backpack he found just the item.
A Potion extremely beautiful with shades of blue.
So there are other races.
I can see this game likes the unlocking route. Maybe I’ll be the one to unlock another race too.

He was then in front of Elaria.
