Lucas Corbin, also known as Silverclaw, had reached a point where he no longer wanted to live his life on the run, constantly paranoid and looking over his shoulder. He made a bold decision to return the money he had received from the Chimera organization, hoping to sever his ties with them. To his surprise, the Chimera organization had other plans for him.
Instead of taking the money back, they informed Silverclaw that he would now work for them. He would be compensated for each successful mission he completed for the organization. However, they presented him with an enticing offer: if he could eliminate a troublesome individual who had been causing problems for the organization, they would deduct 25 million from his outstanding debt. The man in question was Michael Hunter, also known as the Huntsman.
Remy, the face of the Chimera organization, handed Silverclaw a set of documents detailing Michael Hunter's profile and activities. Silverclaw couldn't help but burst into a fit of manic laughter, an expression of sheer excitement painted across his face. He wore the most enormous grin as he responded, "Hell yeah!" He eagerly outlined a plan to draw out the Huntsman and eliminate him.

Meanwhile, on the other side of this impending conflict, Michael Hunter received a call from local authorities. They reported suspicious occultic activities that were rumored to involve the ghouls he had been tirelessly searching for. The authorities mentioned that they had only a few men on the scene and had been advised to contact him.
As Michael arrived at the location, he saw a perimeter of cop cars surrounding a warehouse. The officers had taken cover behind their vehicles. They signaled for him to approach, but instead, Michael utilized his unique ability, the Sin, to disappear from sight, much to the surprise of the officer in charge.
Wasting no time, Michael employed his vampiric strength to leap up and grasp the window situated two stories above. With swift precision, he entered the building. Expecting to find panicking ghouls, he was taken aback when he only saw a single man clad in an intimidating armored suit.
In an instant, the man growled and charged directly at Michael. It was widely known that lycans possessed incredibly acute senses of hearing and smell. Rumors suggested that they could always detect the presence of a vampire nearby.
Michael quickly drew his Glock, removed the safety, and fired four shots at the approaching armored figure. However, the bullets seemed to have no effect other than provoking the figure's anger. The next thing Michael knew, he was hurtled through a wall, and the world turned dark as he lost consciousness.
