Saiya Lairein walked confidently through the grand gates of Solaris Nova Sigma Academy, her eyes gracefully scanning the familiar campus she had come to cherish over the past year. Returning to this institution filled her heart with pride; she had proven herself as one of the academy's elite.
The academy itself stood as a marvel of modern architecture and technology, boasting world-class facilities and cutting-edge research. Its appeal reached far and wide, attracting students from various corners of the world and beyond. Saiya knew she belonged among the best, and her determination had justified that belief.
With precision, she adjusted her uniform, ensuring every button and crease were immaculate. It was more than just attire; it represented her ambition to explore space and unravel the mysteries of her father's home planet. Her long, blond hair cascaded gracefully over her shoulders, framing her regal features and frost-blue eyes, which commanded admiration and respect from her peers.
Accompanying her was Vex, clad in a modified uniform to blend in with the student body. Despite his red eyes drawing curious glances, his unassuming demeanor allowed him to masquerade as just another student. Enrolled with the support of Dr. Stein, who recognized his potential, Vex had become a promising addition to the academy.
As they strolled through the campus, they encountered a diverse array of students, each one seemingly more accomplished and formidable than the last. Among them were notable figures such as:
Lysander Regulus: The charismatic leader of the Red Star Club, renowned for his cunning tactics and iron-fisted rule over the academy's underworld. With dark hair and piercing green eyes exuding danger, Lysander couldn't resist taunting Saiya on her first day back.
"Hey there, princess," he sneered sarcastically. "How's your first day back at school? Did you miss me?"
Saiya's annoyance surged, holding nothing but disdain for him. Lysander's arrogance, ruthlessness, and manipulative tactics had no place in her life. Last year, he tried to blackmail her into joining his club, but Saiya refused firmly.
"Not at all," she replied coldly. "I have more important things to do than waste my time with you."
Z-01 felt his anger rise, yearning to punch Lysander in the face. But, he restrained himself, fully aware that his true identity needed to remain hidden while he posed as a regular student.
"Come on, Saiya," he intervened calmly. "Let's go."
Guiding Saiya away from Lysander's presence, they left him chuckling mockingly.
"See you around, princess," Lysander called, even blowing a sarcastic kiss at Z-01, who couldn't help but shudder in response.
Saiya and Z-01 walked with purpose through the bustling campus, their footsteps resounding against the polished tiles. As they strolled, they noticed Aurelia Nightshade approaching, her enigmatic aura not escaping Saiya's watchful gaze. Aurelia, She was the leader of the Blue Moon Club, a group of rebels who opposed the Red Star Club’s tyranny. She had clashed with Lysander several times, but had never backed down.
"Hello there," Aurelia greeted, her voice smooth and friendly. "You must be Saiya. I'm Aurelia, from the Blue Moon Club. It's a pleasure to meet you."
Saiya nodded politely, not letting her guard down. "Yes, this is Vex," she introduced, casting a quick glance at her companion. "It's nice to meet you too."
Z-01, ever vigilant, felt a sense of caution around Aurelia. There was something different about her, a mysterious air that intrigued and concerned him. Using his telepathic abilities, he briefly skimmed her thoughts, only to find a fixation on monetary gains and ways to exploit Saiya's resources. Keeping this knowledge to himself, he maintained a neutral expression.
“Hi,” he said softly. “I'm new here, so I don’t know much about the clubs. What is the Blue Moon Club about?”
Aurelia smiled, sensing an opportunity to recruit him.
“The Blue Moon Club is about freedom,” she said. “We believe that everyone should have equal rights in this academy. We oppose the Red Star Club’s corruption and oppression, and we fight for a better future.”
She leaned closer to them, lowering her voice.
“We also have access to some of the most advanced mecha technology in the academy,” she said. “We can help you improve your skills, if you join us.”
She looked at them with a hopeful expression.
“What do you say? Are you interested in joining the Blue Moon Club?”
Saiya decided to be diplomatic.
“I've already recruited him,” she said. “Vex is spoken for with the Silver Comet Club.”
Z-01 nodded, agreeing with Saiya’s words. He also wanted to be cautious, not wanting to reveal his true identity.
Aurelia looked at them with a slight frown, feeling a bit disappointed by their response. She had hoped to persuade him to join her club, but she understood.
“I see,” she said. "Well, I respect your choice, and I won’t pressure you. But I hope you’ll keep my offer in mind.
She smiled.
“Anyway, it was nice talking to you,” she said. “I hope to see you again soon. Maybe we can hang out sometime, as friends.”
“Sure,” Saiya said.
They walked towards the lecture hall, passing by various students and faculty members.
Among them was Leonidas Silverwing: The brilliant mind behind the Golden Sun Club, a group with exceptional space knowledge. With silver-streaked hair and piercing blue eyes. He was busy working on his latest discovery when he saw Saiya passing by his window.

He recognized her immediately, having done extensive research on her. He expects she was a touched and wanted to study her, to see what abilities she had. He had a feeling she would be a valuable specimen.
He waved at them, catching their attention.
“Hey, Saiya!” he shouted. “How are you doing?”
Saiya looked at him, with a feeling of curiosity. She knew who he was. He had helped her with some of her projects last year, but he had also asked her some weird questions.
“I'm doing fine, thanks,” she said.
Z-01 felt a sense of caution. He sensed something different about him, something he couldn’t quite place. He used his telepathy to read his mind and got a bunch of jumbled thoughts on super powers and abilities. Z-01 decided to just watch how it plays out.
“Great,” he said. “How about joining my class. It’s going to be awesome. We’re going to learn about some of the most amazing phenomena in the universe.”
He leaned closer to them, lowering his voice.
“I also have something special for you guys,” he said. “I have a new invention that I want you to try out. It’s a device that can enhance your brain power and unlock your hidden potential.”
He looked at them with a hopeful expression.
“What do you say? Are you interested in trying out my invention?”
Z-01 decided to be cautious, not wanting to risk anything.
“Thank you for your offer, Leonidas,” he said. “We’re not sure if we want to try out your invention. We don’t know much about its effects.”
Saiya nodded, agreeing with Z-01’s words.
Leonidas looked at them with a slight frown. He had hoped to persuade Saiya to try out his invention. This new guy was getting in his way.
“I see,” he said.
“Anyway, it was nice talking to you,” he said. “I hope to see you in class soon. Maybe we can work on some projects together.”
He waved at them.
They walked towards the lecture hall, passing by various students.
Among them was Astrid Starfall: A fearless mecha pilot from the Silver Comet Club. Her prowess in piloting was matched only by her unwavering determination. She had short blond hair and bright blue eyes, reflecting her fiery and cheerful personality. She greeted Saiya warmly.
“Hey, Saiya!” she said enthusiastically. “How are you doing? Ready for some action?”
Saiya smiled back, liking Astrid’s spirit. She had befriended her during day one.
“I'm always ready for some action,” she said.
“Awesome,” she said. “Are you interested in trying out my mech?”
Saiya decided to be enthusiastic, not wanting to miss out on an opportunity.
“It sounds amazing,” she said.
Z-01 agreed with Saiya’s words. He also wanted to be supportive.
Astrid looked at Saiya with a big smile, feeling overjoyed by her response. She hugged her, making Saiya blush.
She let go of Saiya, and walked away, leaving her be.
They walked towards the mecha hangar, where Astrid’s mecha was waiting for them.
They were amazed by the sight of the mecha, which looked like a sleek and powerful dragon. It had metallic scales, wings, claws, and a tail. It had a cockpit in its chest, where the pilot could control it.
Astrid ran towards her mecha, beaming with pride.
“Isn’t it awesome?” she said. “I call it Draco. It can fly, breathe fire, and fight like a beast. It’s the ultimate machine.”
She climbed into the cockpit, and gestured for Saiya and Z-01 to follow her.
“Come on, guys,” she said. “Let’s go for a ride. I’ll show you how it works.”
They strapped themselves in, and put on their helmets.
Astrid activated the mecha, and it roared to life.
“Ready?” she asked.
“Ready,” Saiya said.
“Ready,” Z-01 said.
Astrid smiled, and pushed a button.
The mech took off into the sky.
They looked down at the academy, which was a massive complex of buildings and facilities. The academy was located on a remote island, surrounded by a force field. The academy was the only place where mechas were developed and tested by students.
They continued to fly, feeling the rush of speed and the burden of expectation. They flew over one of the training grounds, where they saw a group of students practicing their mecha piloting skills. The training ground was a large field with various obstacles and targets, such as trees, rocks, dummies, and drones. The students were using different types of mechas, such as birds, beasts, insects, and humanoids. Each mecha had its own strengths and weaknesses, and each student had to master their own mecha.
“Hey, guys,” Astrid said. “Want to see who’s better?”
The students looked up at them in envy.
“A challenge?” one of them asked. “With you?”
“Yeah, why not?” Astrid said. “We’re always ready for a fight.”
The students looked at each other, then back at Astrid.
“You’re on,” one of them said.
The students got into their mechas.
“Ready?” Astrid asked.
“Bring it on!” they said.
Their mechs flew at max speed. They faced obstacles, simulated enemies, and strategic puzzles. They used their weapons, such as lasers, missiles, claws, and tails.
The challenge was hard, but in the end Astrid managed to overcome their opponents with her superior tactics. Saiya used Draco’s laser to blast away the drones that were attacking them from the air. Astrid used Draco’s tail to sweep away the dummies that were blocking their path. Z-01 used Draco’s claws to grab and throw the rocks that were hurled at them by the enemy mechas.
They also used Draco’s unique ability to transform into different forms, depending on the situation. They switched from dragon mode to bird mode when they needed to fly faster and higher. They switched from bird mode to beast mode when they needed to run and jump over obstacles. They switched from beast mode to humanoid mode when they needed to fight hand-to-hand with the enemy mechas.
They worked together as a team, communicating through their headsets and supporting each other with their actions.
They were unstoppable, and they dominated the challenge. They crossed the finish line first, leaving their opponents behind in dust and smoke.
“We won!” Saiya shouted.
“Yeah!” Astrid said.
The students grumbled about their performance.
Astrid turned to Saiya.
“That was easy,” she said. “We should do it again sometime.”
“I’d enjoy that,” Saiya said.
