I woke up after sleeping on the floor for a couple of hours and my back was killing me. Luckily I wasn’t hungry anymore. I brought up my status so I could allocate my stat points. This time I was going to invest more into my own survivability. Ten into vitality and eight into endurance bringing my health up by 50 and my health regeneration up to ten. I laid back down against the ground as I felt the wonderful sensation of my body being basically rewired and rebuilt thanks to the system, it felt godly.
I went back to Milo’s office and started ransacking the place looking for loot. I pocketed the two crystals he had used to make water and fire. Vaeda informed me that they were elemental crystals and quite rare. Apparently, all you had to do to activate them was to pour a little bit of mana into the crystal. I couldn’t find anything else of value besides the crystals so Vaeda and I decided we’d head to another one of the mausoleums I saw on the map. We walked back to the main room and I adjusted my armor and weapons and made sure everyone was ready to fight. The big guy had his great ax the Alpha was ready and I had just cast Cloak Of Shadows on myself.
I had big guy move all the stuff out of the doorway and open them so Vaeda could fly around and check our surroundings. I hid in the corner and cast Eye in the Sky to see through Vaeda’s eyes. Looking around we were still surrounded by at least another 20 skeleton and zombie grunts. I canceled Eye in the Sky and got ready to kill some undead. I ordered my undead to kill anything they saw and all of us charged out of the mausoleum. I ran past five undead slashing left and right with them unaware of what exactly was hitting them. I slashed at legs and arms trying to just weaken them enough for my undead to clean up the kills. The Alpha was stomping out the undead that had fallen to my cuts.

We kept this up and I told Vaeda just to monitor the area and make sure no other undead were attracted to our fight. The big guy was mowing through undead bisecting them and crushing them with single slashes. I’m starting to think picking Create Golem Core was the best decision I could have made. He single-handedly killed ten of the undead by himself. I ran up behind a zombie grunt and decapitated it. I sicced the Alpha and the big guy on the last four undead and they made quick work of them.

I dumped the three points into intelligence and got ready to head towards the next mausoleum. With Vaeda patrolling the skies above us searching for enemies and my two goons on either side of me I felt quite safe and confident in our ability to handle anything that could come our way. We walked for about an hour and didn’t find any undead patrols at all. After closing in on what seemed like the second hour Vaeda flew down to alert us.
“Hey, Greg there’s a couple of buildings ahead and what seems to be an undead knight creature up ahead. It’s by itself so we can probably take it but I figured I’d ask what you wanted to do”
“Let’s fight it, if you are correct then maybe I can get some more experience I was a little let down by the horde we fought earlier I only gained one level,” I said.
“Haha alright boy but be careful not to get too confident or it could spell your downfall” Vaeda warned.
We headed over towards where Vaeda claimed the death knight was. After walking about ten minutes we came upon a street with some decrepit buildings surrounding it and in the middle of the street was the undead knight. It was unlike any undead I had seen thus far including Milo. It was bigger than both my Alpha and the big guy. It was wearing full body armor and a helmet. It was wielding a two-handed bastard sword. This might end up being harder than I thought it originally would be. I cast Cloak Of Shadows on myself first then ordered my Alpha to attack while I snuck behind some of the buildings. I also told the big guy to wait at the end of the street until I called for him, and instructed Vaeda to follow me. I entered one of the buildings and walked up the stairs to get a better view of the fight between my Alpha and the knight.
My Alpha roared as it got closer to the knight. When my Alpha got into its sword range the knight turned to it and immediately slashed downwards with enough force to separate my Alpha from head to crotch.

The host’s Undead has fallen in battle (x1)
Woah Woah Woah. What the fuck was that. My Alpha was no slouch and it just got OHKO’d. How on earth am I supposed to fight that thing? It would kill me without batting an eye. I was shaking while staring out the window. But it wasn’t because I was scared it was because I was excited. I wanted that undead more than anything, no I needed that undead if I was going to get out of here. I snuck out of the house and told Vaeda to distract the undead knight and called the big guy over here. Vaeda swooped in and was doing circles around the knight who due to Cloak Of Shadows couldn’t even see me. Once I was within range I told the big guy to tackle him to the ground. The big guy hits him like a truck forcing the knight to the ground and his weapon goes sliding across the ground away from it. While the knight is stunned I immediately cast Control Undead. The darkness pours out of my hands and starts to cover the knight. It struggles against me and for the first time ever since I became a necromancer there was a real pushback. I could feel it fighting against me. I started to really concentrate and focused my intent onto the undead. After what felt like an eternity that left me sweaty and panting I had successfully won the battle of wills against the undead. I was left feeling really tired and kind of scared. I had no idea what would happen if I lost that fight with the undead but it certainly wouldn’t have been good.
The host has successfully controlled undead.
Draugr Knight: A deadly and capable warrior wielding immense physical strength. These are the elite troops of the necromancer's undead army LVL 34 Cost 50 CTRL & 90 Mana
This undead was powerful. I told the big guy to get off it and made the Draugr pick up its sword. Then the goon squad and I headed towards one of the abandoned buildings to rest for the night. Before I could go to sleep I had to eat. So I told Vaeda to go bring me back some kind of bird to eat.
“Yeah I’ll bring you something back boy, but I thought you didn’t want to eat any of my prey?” he asked.
“That was before I had the fire crystal from Milo. Now that I can cook it, I’m more willing to try it out.”
“Okay be back soon,” Vaeda said as he set off into the night.
He returned very quickly, flying into the building and dropping a hawk right in front of me. It had a huge chunk missing out of its neck. And claw marks all over its wings. Looks like Vaeda put this thing through hell. I thanked him and began work on attempting to dismantle the bird. Vaeda had no idea how to do it due to the fact he eats his food raw. I took out my daggers and started shaving off the feathers on the body of the hawk. After I had shaved off most of the feathers I cut into the breast of the bird trying to carve out some pieces of meat. After I had finally Carved out a sizable enough chunk to eat, I headed outside and ordered my Draugr and big guy to grab some rocks and sticks in order for me to make a fire.
They collected the materials and I began to slowly piece together a makeshift fire set up. I then picked up a stick and used my daggers to sharpen it into a kebab style shaft in order to cook my bird meat. Once it was done I took the water crystal and washed off my daggers, the stick and my soon to be dinner. Then I channeled some mana into the fire crystal and used that to light a small fire. After that I began to cook the meat I realized I knew nothing about cooking a hawk. Oh well, better safe than sorry I cooked it until it was almost black. I took a bite and it actually didn’t taste too bad, it was somewhat tough to chew but mostly tasted like chicken. Well burnt chicken with no seasoning, but chicken nonetheless. I then drank some water from the water crystal and put out the fire with it.
“How does it taste boy?” Vaeda inquired.
“Honestly not too bad. Well, it's bland and burnt but at least I won't have to worry about going hungry or thirsty any time soon. But I’m a tired man so I’m going to go to bed. Good night friend.”
Then I headed back inside to lay down for the night. Tomorrow would be a new day and I’d try out my newest minion. I fell asleep looking at my recent stat gains and skill levels.
