The Baldy 'Suk' raised his big shield to block incoming arrows shot by an Archer Blob. Their party composition is perfect, adding the thief 'Victorious,' they feared nothing. They started farming in the dungeon a couple of hours ago and they didn't suffer any great setbacks.
The Experience was generous and the loot was evenly divided, there were no fights since they knew each other and their damage was not bad. With him being the main Tank, the swordsmen, mage, and archer dealing damage and the Healer doing her job, no problem arose.
Victorious' job was to dismantle and discover traps, he also dealt a lot of damage with his hidden dagger and invisible threads. He was really an experienced thief, Suk didn't regret inviting him as he did his job flawlessly and managed to spot every single trap.
Since Leiu had just entered the second floor, he didn't encounter traps but even when he did, he managed to avoid them, the reason is his vision is as clear as the day. Traps would have some unusual mechanism above it, whether it's on the wall or on hidden on the ground. He was a cautious person and didn't get close to the walls too much, as for the ones in the ground, he paid extra attention to not step on them, every step was taken after ascertaining that there is no possibility of failure or getting caught.
Although it made his progress and walking rather slow, it was no problem as he was tailing the baldy's group currently. He tried following them exactly, stepping only on the ground they passed from whilst hiding from their view.
Unlike the other parties, this party didn't use a torch or a lantern but rather used a skill of a Healer called [Light Spark]. It's a fist-sized sphere of light that illuminated the surroundings, it floated above the Healer and it cost some Mana every minute but with some Mana Potion, it is easy to maintain it permanently.
Leiu could attack them anytime they started a fight against a group of Blobs but no, he won't do that, his plan for revenge was to do whatever they did to him when they drop their guard and think they're safe, that's when he'll attack.
Adding his good equipment, powerful Buffs and the double effect of [Darkness], he was sure he could one-shot the long-ranged classes and especially that Healer.
Her appearance didn't matter for him, lovely, cute or whatnot was something he couldn't care less about. She was most certainly the one that blinded him, which made her an enemy too.
Leiu was not planning on chain-killing them whenever he met them. Only once was enough.
He was someone very patient when dealing with revenge, he followed them soundlessly through the darkness. Wherever they went, he was always behind them staring at their backs with a sharp and cold gaze.
He already when through what he'll do a hundred times over, whether it was finishing the Healer, dealing with Suk, or getting rid of the thief and the swordsman. He didn't know who the thief was but just by watching him for some time, it was apparent that he wasn't part of the party and that he was a better Player than them.
Thieves were problematic to deal with, nevertheless, Leiu had to eliminate the Healer first.
The good thing was that the three Players he needed to kill were always at the rear, sticking close to each other, especially the Mage and the Archer.
Only Victorious was at the front and leading the party, after all, only he could spot the traps.
"The second floor is really way better than the first one. I even looted a Rare shield!"
Suk let out a hearty laugh as he waved a huge silver shield in his hand. He had a Tank Class: Fighter, so the shield was his main weapon, though he also wielded a one-handed sword, but it was seldom used as his skills mostly relied on the shield.
Tank Classes were known to have more stun, aggro, and paralyze skills than other classes, it's just that they are way slower in terms of attacking or using skills but once they successfully land their attacks and their party is with them, the enemy who was hit is guaranteed to die.
Leiu planned to let Suk the last one standing, first, because it's him the leader and he wanted to show him the consequences of what he did, and second because he was the Tank and the hardest to kill out of all of them.
The Thief may be pretty good at fighting and sneak attacking but his Health was not that high and his defense is also low, so he could two-shot him probably, but Suk is another case, even with the amount of bonus damage he deals, it'll be hard to kill this baldy in just seconds which is why he had to be left last.
"I say, Miss Luissa, it may be your turn next to loot a good weapon, don't worry."
Suk noticed the disappointed face of the Healer, Luissa, so, surprisingly, he approached her and offered a few comforting words. He knew she was a rich young miss and only joined his party because she couldn't go solo. He had to impress her and make sure she became a permanent member.
"Let's just continue."
Luissa appeared unimpressed, if not a little bored and disappointed. She shrugged her shoulders and pointed toward the next group of Blobs, which was barely visible from their position. Seeing her haughty behavior, Suk, and most of his friends, felt a bit down.
'What good is there to have a shitty healer like her with you? They're really desperate, huh...'
Seeing their dampened moods, Victorious shook his head and sighed. It wasn't that uncommon for male Players to try their best to impress female Players, whether it was in MMORPGs or other games.

"Be quiet! A group of 6 Blobs, 3 Mages, 1 Archer, and 2 Melee."
Victorious warned them and told them to prepare as the enemies as approaching, no one knew how he discovered them and knew their number and classes.
The party members prepared themselves and took their positions, three at the back and three at the front with Suk holding a big shield and preparing to receive the earth spike and arrows of the Blobs.
As for Leiu, he was staring at the situation from the back, he saw the Blobs even before Victorious and he knew that despite them being only a group of six Blobs, there was a group not far from that one which had 5 additional Blobs, the fight that will occur will most likely attract that group which is a perfect opportunity for him.
Soon, the fight began with the Archer launching several arrows at the club-wielding Blobs which were crazily charging at the party.
Some arrows missed and some hit but the damage was not enough to kill the two Blobs so Victorious appeared behind one of them and slashed precisely at Blob's throat, making blood gush endlessly, then he backed away silently as if he never appeared, he seemed to melt into the darkness from the perspective of the party.
Suk raised his shield and used [Harden], it was a low cooldown defensive skill that reduced the incoming frontal damage by 20% and increasing his defense by 15%. It was one of the main skills of his Tank Class. It was a normal class and didn't have anything special like Leiu's classes.
Each party member did their job, the Mage launched several small and invisible wind slashes created by his small magical staff. The Archer used skills that multiplied his arrows or made them a bit faster.
The place was bright with skills and it attracted the nearby group of Blobs which headed toward the moment they saw it.
One of the six Blobs was killed and the second one was already done from the bombardments of the Archer and Mage, however, just as they were going to kill it, they heard the panicking voice of Victorious.
"Retreat! Now!"
As he said that, Victorious turned around and started running, he did his job and warned them, he was not going to linger around there and wait for the other Blobs.
Thankfully, he accidentally heard the footsteps of the Blobs, he couldn't guess their numbers but it was more than 3, adding that to the 4 or 5 present blobs, that's 8 Blobs! Moreover, he didn't know which classes the Blobs had, if they are all mages, it'll be even more troublesome.
He made a quick decision to retreat and it was a great call by him, but not all of them followed his instructions. Luissa was stunned by what was happening, she was struggling on whether to follow him or not, as for the Mage and Archer, they were hell-bound on killing that specific club-wielding Blob.
Poor Suk was withstanding the combined attacks of 3 Mage Blobs and the last Archer Blob was aiming at the Luissa and planning to shoot her down.
After a bit of internal struggle, Luissa turned around to flee but unfortunately, an arrow with some orange energy on its sharp edge was heading toward her head, its speed was very fast and someone like her with low Agility could not possibly dodge that. The only thing she could do was raise her small cane and use [Holy Shield]. It was one of the defensive skills the Priest Healer Class had and it conjured an illusory magic shield in front of a target. It could block up to 65% of the incoming damage and last for half a minute.
The arrow struck the magic shield but couldn't go further, after making some cracks on the shield, it fell on the ground.
Luissa breathed a sigh of relief as she saw the arrow fall. If it were not for her quick reactions, she would have instantly died if that arrow pierced. She still received the remaining 35% damage which took a third of her Health.
Without much hesitation, the Healer turned around and started fleeing too. Seeing that, Suk's face became ugly as he knew the situation was not good, whilst still holding his shield, he started backing off and shouting
"You two, stop dumbly attacking that damn Blob and help me retreat! Fucking no brains! Why waste important skills and Mana on a single Blob!"
The two of them had killed the Blob and switched to the Archer Blob but were stopped by Suk's shouting, they were inexperienced and without his instruction, they wouldn't know which enemy to focus.
Seeing that he was retreating, the two of them turned around and made a run for it, by this time, the other group of Blobs appeared in the vicinity and were visible by the light emanating from Luissa's skill.
With Victorious running ahead and Luissa a couple of meters behind him, Leiu grinned as he saw a golden opportunity arise in front of him.
The direction Victorious was running toward was directed straight at him, so when the Thief was just going to spot him, Leiu prepared himself and suddenly appeared from behind the boulder.
His target was not Victorious but Luissa, the Healer. With the black chains tightly held in his left hand, he rushed at the panicking Luissa and struck down with his chains from a great distance.
Luissa was busy looking behind her and seeing the Blobs chasing them from all directions, arrows and earth spikes were aimed at her comrades, her face paled and she used all the strength she could muster to run a bit faster.
At such a dire situation, a whistling sound rang from the direction she was running toward, by the time she turned her head to see what's going on, black chains came down from above with fast speed, the force behind the chains was immense and before she could react, the chains struck her body and instantly made her frail body viciously hit the ground, taking a huge chunk from her health bar.
The black chains quickly wrapped around her body, entangling her.
Victorious, who was madly running while checking if there was any traps ahead was dumbstruck by what happened. All he saw was a dark shadow suddenly appear and by the next second, Luissa was on the ground, unable to move, then a hooded-man appeared and mercilessly beheaded the white-robed Luissa.
It was a brutal and sudden scene that made him gasp, the second he saw the hooded-figure of Leiu, he immediately recognized him from before, he also knew the reason he did that.
Leiu's speed was too fast, before Luissa could react, his black and white sword finished her, making her illuminating skill go off, making the area shrouded in darkness.
His actions were noticed by Suk, whose face turned pale when he saw what happened.
"Time for payback." Stated Leiu as a cold smile surfaced on his barely visible visage.
