As Isol advanced through the bog the soles of his feet stuck to the muddy water. The water of the swamp was sticky and if you didn't lift your feet up it would sink in. As if that wasn't the worst part, because of the murky water it was hard to see the predators swimming underneath the water, although that wasn't a issue for Isol. The group behind continued to stalk him as they plotted.
"We should just cast all our spells at once."
"Yeah its not luck he even expects us."
"He won't be able to defend it."
As they agreed on their plan they prepared for their ambush when the beating of wings sounded above them. All of them warily stared at the sky and what they saw made them go pale. A horde of mosquito like creatures were above them, the density was so large that it looked like a massive black cloud. All of them were wearing the leaves that could hide their presence but there was a limit to its power. The limit stops when the insects were staring straight at them.
"Use all the fire spells you know!"
As the insects made a dive bomb they retaliated with fire bombs, fire lash, and other unique fire like spells. The clash between black from the group of insects and red from the fire made quite the scene. As a group of insects leaked through the flames, they started to vigorously attack the group by trying to suck their blood.
"Dive into the water!"
The blue cloaked apprentice was the first to dive straight into the murky water, he held his breath as much as he could. Who knows what would happen to him if he accidentally swallowed a portion of the murky water, he obviously wasn't planning on testing out the theory. The rest soon followed his actions as they plunged into the water. The murky water limited their eye sights but using the noises around them they met up in the water.
One of the apprentice waved his hand and a gigantic bubble appeared all of them. Finally they didn't need to hold their breath and they could talk again.
"Should we just wait it out?"
"How unlucky are we to meet that group of insects?"
As they were talking about their predicament straight noises arose in the surrounding. They all stared outside the bubble but their view was still limited, it didn't take long for the noise to finally make a appearance. It was an gigantic eel like creature. The fish was about 20 meter long and spikes protruded all over its body with mucus secreting from it. As the fish unhinged its mouth it stretched over 5 meters.

It was planning on swallowing all of them inside the bubble. All of the apprentice inside used any life saving means they could, and only 5 out of the total of 8 escaped from the jaws of the monster. As they all desperately swam to the surface they heard noises around them. Fueling the adrenaline inside of them, they finally broke through the surface and when they did all of them felt as if they earned a new leash on life.
Unfortunately the situation quickly turned grim for them as when they took a look at their surrounding, towering above them was a gigantic mess covered in algae and other messy swamp materials. The figure wielded a gigantic tree branch as its weapon and its one gigantic green eye stared at them hungrily. It was attracted by the smell of burnt insects and when it arrived it saw meat from humans, the ones that it loved to eat.
"Why does our situation always seem worse and worse, first it was the insects, then the eel, and now a fucking Swamp Giant!"
As the group cursed their luck they all scattered away from each other, planning to use each other as bait. They had no intention of fighting back, any creature with giant in its name was a no go for them. They lived in the country named Sleeping Giants, and they knew the terrors of giants. Swamp Giants were notorious for their inability to be killed as long as they were in any swamp, as descendants of the swamp they obviously would be healed whenever they got hurt.
After a whole 30 minute of chase between the giant and humans, only 1 out of the previous 5 made it out alive, like an immortal cockroach the blue cloaked apprentice lives! Using the others as bait the giant finally had its fill and left. When he finally saw that the giant stopped chasing him he, sighed in relief. What an exciting today. He had 3 life of death encounters today, lucky to survive all of them, he planned on leaving the kid who they originally targeted get the hell out of here.
As he walked in a random direction, unbeknownst to him. Isol was staring at him, his gold colored eyes never stopped observing the group. What he saw not only amazed him but also made him feel baffled. He could only take pity on the group for targeting someone with such higher luck than him, as they say never mess with a MC with an unbeatable luck! He planned on killing the apprentice that was by himself, but it looks like he didn't need to take action when he saw him stepping onto a curious looking plant.
The plant opened its mouth and swallowed the blue cloaked apprentice whole, it acted as a small and inconspicuous plant the whole time and when a bait finally stepped on it, it strikes faster than lightning. Isol could only pray for the man and the rest of the group for being such good subjects, as their contributions helped him understand more about luck. With this event coming to an end, he was going to continue his search for the 8 winged rock dragon.
