“Milady, please wait,” an old man in a crisp suit ran towards Nora. His head was bald and had a few white strands of hair running through it. By the name tag above his chest pocket, one could easily tell that he was the manager. “Milady please forgive this one for our poor hospitality.”

Nora turned and faced the manager, her brows arched upwards. She kept silent, allowing the manager to continue. It was time for compensations and Nora eagerly waited for it. With her superb acting, Nora had projected herself as an aristocrat who just had an accident along the road. Due to her training she went through back when she was a prince, she was well polished in the manners and conducts a royalty should have. Thus, Nora easily fooled everyone in thinking she was a noble with her her aura of confidence and superiority.

The nobles that sat by the lounge tables smirked at the drama in front of them. Seeing the manager rushed forward to apologies, they knew something juicy was going to happen. Just by hearing how she spoke, they were confident that she was not a commoner. A noble could easily identify another noble. The actions and demeanor of nobles and commoners were very different.

“Please accept our sincerest apologies for our blunder for not recognising you, miss...?” The manager asked.

“Oh are you telling me, because i was not recognisable, I was treated this way? Perhaps, i should refrain from speaking my name? Oh how tragic would it be if people were to find out how badly this fine establishment famed for it’s high hospitality treated me, hehehe, this will be quite a juicy gossip indeed,” Nora dodged the question about her name and smirked.

The nobles watching started to whisper among themselves, trying to figure out who Nora was. Some evan started talking about how this would be a great story to tell their friends. Almost all the nobles in the lounge were watching her. One of the things nobles loved most was drama that didn’t involve them.

The manager started to sweat. He nervously bowed and stated “Please forgive this mindless one, I did not mean to insult milady, as an apology, please feel free to enjoy our facilities to your heart’s contents, everything will be on the house. This mindless one did not mean to insult your honour and hope you will be magnanimous and forgive us on hour blunder.”

The manager reached out and presented the sack of gold to Nora. With a smirk, Nora took the sack and cheekily replied “Oh, perhaps i won’t be telling my friends about this after all.”

Nora turned around and walked towards her room while the manager sighed in relief. Sweat poured out from his forehead as he turned to the receptionist to give a scolding. The nobles that were watching sniggered at the peaceful resolution and turned their attention to the scolding.

Ignoring all the commotion behind her, Nora left the lounge and walked towards her room. After entering her room, Nora saw that it was quite large. Everything was well decorated. The elaborate decorations reminded her of her room back when she was a prince. After reminiscing about the past, Nora decided to take a bath before eating. She was dirty from the travel.

Aftering finding the bathroom by the side, Nora stripped herself and entered the bath. Using the lavender soap bottle that hanged by the side, she scrubbed herself clean while Evelyn watched. After what happened last time, Nora forbade Evelyn from bathing with her. Despite how many times Evelyn begged, Nora firmly declined. Just because she was turned into a woman, doesn’t mean she was going to start being happy go lucky about it. Her pride did not allow her to. She was not going to allow Evelyn to sexually harass her.

Submerging in the bubble bath, Nora laid down and conversed with Evelyn. While conversing, Nora tended to her burnt hands. It was already backed to normal after the long journey to the town. She had healed it while on the way to the town. All the callouses and scars on her hands were gone. All that was left was smooth white skin. This was due to the fact that the healing spell Nora had used was a 6 circle spell. It not only did it healed the burns, but all the minor injuries that had accumulated while she was on the island along with it.

After a few minutes of lying in the bath tub, Nora felt her stomach rumbling. She was hungry. Nora slowly got herself out of the tub and rinse herself. Using a small fire spell, she dried her hair and body of all the water. While the hot air flowed through her hair, Nora turned to the large mirror by the side to see how she looked like. This was her time seeing her full body.

Nora hissed instantly. In the reflection, a skinny girl with long pink hair greeted her. Seeing how she looked, Nora felt miffed.

Dammit, i look like a refugee. If the robe hadn’t cover my whole body, there’s no way the manager would have believed my act. I need to gain more weight. If i’m going to be a woman, i must at least look good.

“Evelyn, why were you so happy about this body? I’m so skinny right now,” Nora felt confused as to why Evelyn had been so happy the last time she showered. Even though she was beautiful, Nora did not feel any attraction to her own body.

“Master, no matter what gender you are or how you look, i will always love you.”

Hearing the usual nonsensical confession from Evelyn, Nora ignored her and changed back into the old robe from before. Nora had no choice but to wear the old robe from before since she did not bring a bag with her. It would have been quite suspicious if she suddenly changed clothes without even bringing a bag with her. She didn’t want to draw attention to the fact that she had a space ring.

Leaving the bathroom, Nora noticed a crystal ball with buttons by the side of her bed. Unsure of what it was, Nora asked “Eve, you know what that does?”

“Master, i believe that’s a communication device, by pressing the green button, it will allow you to speak to whoever the crystal ball is linked to. Each crystal ball is linked to another crystal ball, thus allowing messages between them to flow smoothly.”

“Ah, so it’s like a phone but with only one number.”

“Phone?”

“Ah, nothing.”

Checking the crystal ball out, Nora saw that beside it was a hard piece of paper with words and pictures on it. It was a menu.

Ah, so it’s like a hotel where i can order food directly from my room. Nice, this means i don’t have to meet the other nobles.

Hehehe, it’s a good thing everything is on the house. Everything here is so ex. 20 gold for a sky shark fillet? I can understand why only nobles could afford this. This is such a rip off.

After reading through the menu, Nora pressed the green button.

“Dear Sir or Ma’am, how may i serve you?”

“I would like to order meal 13,22, 41 and 53 please. Would you please send a maid to deliver them to my room please and if you don’t mind, i would like to borrow her for a while.”

“That would be no problem, Ma’am.”

After pressing the red button to end the call, Nora laid down by the bed. Facing the ceiling, Nora spoke “Eve, when the maid arrive with the food, take over her body and find out what she knows, we’ll talk about what you learnt during dinner.”

“Master, what if someone senses my presence? If anyone finds me, they will come after us. The hatred for all undead is very strong among the populace.”

“Don’t worry, i’ve already checked the area with ‘soul sight’, there aren’t any strong beings near this place. The strongest should be that rank B bodyguard, but i don’t think he’s strong enough to sense you. So you’ll be fine as long as you don’t leave this building.”

“Okay then master.”

After a half an hour of waiting, a knock was heard from the door. Instantly, Evelyn came out of the ring and went out of the room to possess the maid’s body. A few seconds later, the maid entered the room, pushing a tray of food covered by metal food cover.

She had a sculpted figure which was twine-thin. Her waist was tapered and she had a pale white skin. Her blue bob cut hair delicately covered her forehead, just above her soft blue eyes and her comely figure fit snuggly inside her maid uniform. Her luminous, heavenly-white teeth flashed as she smiled at Nora.

“Master? You interested? All the maids here are quite a beauty,” Evelyn teased and did a errotic pose.

“Shut it! So what did you find out?”

“Master, there are some neat things i found out, but it’s not the things we need to know. The only thing good that might be useful is that there is the ball happening in Chestine city in half a year.”

“How is knowing when the ball occurs good at all?”

“No Master, that’s not the good part. The good part is who’s attending the ball. The ball is a gathering of nobles who resides in the eastern part of the Amera kingdom, one of which is your father who will be attending as a guest of honour. I believe this is a great opportunity for us to kill him. Since he’ll be away from the castle, the amount of guards that he’ll be with will be fewer. It’ll be easier for us to kill him and escape.”

Taking a bite out of the meal, Nora carefully considered her options.

Let’s see, if i travel there by carriage, it will take me about a week to get there. I also have to factor in the time needed for scouting the location. It would be unwise for me to try and kill him without knowing the layout of the city. I would need to prepare an escape route first. So let’s take that as another week. This means that i have about four and a half month to grow stronger enough to kill him.

From my memories, it states that the king’s guard must be at least A rank. This means that he is minimum, an A rank warrior. Do i have enough time to to grow strong enough to not only defeat an A rank surrounded by guards but also escape in 4 months? I won’t know till i try. Four months should also be enough time for me to earn enough points to summon gluttony.

So this will be my goal for now. Tomorrow i’ll go to the adventurer’s guild and register myself. I’ll be able to take quests there.

Nora pumped herself up and finally came up with a plan. After setting the table, Nora and Evelyn discussed their plans while they ate. Although it was forbidden for a servant to dine with their master, Nora and Evelyn happily ate their food together. Bite after bite, they consumed the mouth watering food in front of them.

Nora didn’t mind eating with Evelyn and neither did Evelyn. After being with each others for so long, Evelyn was like a sister to Nora. It wasn’t the first time they ate on the same table together.

After a while, the plates were wiped clean. Everything was consumed by Nora and Evelyn. Nora could feel her stomach bulging due to the vast amount she ate. Feeling content, Nora told Evelyn to return the maid back to her job before jumping into bed. Snuggling inside the soft blanket, Nora slowly fell asleep.

Evelyn silently watch as Nora feel asleep, it was one of her favourite activity. Seeing the joy on Nora’s face as she slept, Evelyn smiled. However, after sensing that Nora was asleep, Evelyn smile turned into a sneer. Her veins bulged as anger flared up.

“Master may have forgiven you, but i’ve not. No one insults master and get away with it!” Evelyn softly muttered to herself as she left the room and headed towards the counter.
