Shower Scene 1

Grunting Fred shook his head and closing the door just enough that should she want to she could go in and out walked over to the shower and shedding his bathrobe hopped quickly into the shower pulling the curtain closed. “Aww,” sighed Fred as his body relaxed under the warm and hard spray. This was what he had been needing. Leaning forward in the spray and letting the water beat down on his shoulders he tried to not think. Yet the more he tried the more his thoughts swirled and bubbled. So quick and seemingly random that he had trouble following them and often wondered where they came from. His mind seemed to float from one event to another. Why had Mary been so insistent over the phone? It wasn’t like she owned him? Pausing to think about that he shook his head no she didn’t own him nor did she own his work. Come to think of it, she worked for him not the other way around. Hmm… The lady across the way made more weird faces at him today? He wondered why. It wasn’t like he had looked bad. Plus even if she had heard his conversation he wasn’t the only one who did things like that. He was normal. Absolutely normal. He hadn’t heard from his sister or mother today. Maybe he should call them. Well not now but later after he woke up. Woke up? Hmm had he already ordered the mattress but it wasn’t coming until next week. What had been the appointment time? Friday I think at 11 or was it one? Cats really liked catnip. He should tell the kind lady at the pet store that her suggestion worked. That ferret was kind of cute too, come to think of it. What would one be like as a pet? It looked quite fun and funny too with that black mask across its eyes. If it were his pet he would name it Bandit naw too on the nose maybe Robin short for Robinhood. Or better yet name it Bob an algemation of the two names and it was so very plain that no one would suspect him of robbing anyone. Chuckling to himself Fred shook his head and began the process of washing his body. Not noticing the shadow sliding stealthy along the shower wall.
