“There you are” a statement from a voice that she didn’t want to hear at this very moment, a statement from the closest person in her life rang out as she bumped into her in the forest:

BZZZT

A small sound of electricity was heard as she was hugged by Larissa making her jump out of the embrace:

“Ouch,” Larissa said as she held her hands and began shaking them to relieve herself of the pain when she noticed Sarah’s stunned expression “Are you ok?”

‘I don’t get it she’s okay, but…’ Sarah thought as she looked at her shocked but a soft light smile appeared on her face ‘Who am I kidding, it’s better this way’. Apparently, the hug that Sarah received had calmed down her nerves, as all the tension was reduced drastically as she had calmed down unconsciously bringing down the lethality of her lightening to a bearable level.

“Where have your pretty ass been all along, do you know how much I looked for you, gosh?” Larissa asked with a concerned face “I would have kept an eye on you as usual but I was suddenly distracted by a pretty decent guy though…” she was still talking when Sarah interrupted her as she suddenly leaned forward and hugged her:

“Huh, what’s this about,” she asked as she was surprised;

“Thank you,” Sarah said as she turned around and began running, “hey wait up” Larissa attempted to follow behind when she discovered that she couldn’t catch up to her not to talk about keeping up with her “Hey was she always this fast,” she asked herself as she clearly remembers being the superior one in terms of physical activities as Sarah had not much to be desired about in that department.

Running through the street, she observed how the night suddenly became much clearer as she could see way better, she kept on running not minding anything on her path as all she wanted to do was get back home, she wanted to go faster, she wanted to disappear and remain hidden, as she began to hear clearly the wails of people who mourned their loved ones, the sirens blew louder as to her it sounded as the voices of demons sent to torment her. She tried closing her ears but her hearing had become so good that just merely closing her ear would do her no good as the sounds continued to seep into her auditory nerves as she ran;

“I didn’t mean to, I didn’t mean to, I didn’t mean to, I am sorry” she cried out in reaction to the environment coupled with the fact that she wanted to go faster she didn’t know when she subconsciously started to release arcs of electricity from her foot as she ran further increasing her speed, her vision began to blur due to the speed at which she was running making it impossible for her to focus when she ran into the side of an ambulance that the medics were loading the injured:

THUD

Her body slammed into the vehicle causing her to roll over a few times and halting her run, regaining her balance a fresh wave of groans hit her:

“Argh, somebody helps” a medic that was helping others before cried out as he found himself impaled by a shard of glass.

“Anybody help, it’s too heavy” someone who was stuck underneath the ambulance cried. This scene bore deep into the poor girl’s mind as she caused another set of casualties, she couldn’t move as her thoughts began to move faster than she could process, and her mind began to become a mess as she began muttering gibberish unintentionally.

“Hey get more stretchers over there” a man in a lab coat said as he stood up ‘this night just keeps getting out of hand, out of nowhere a bizarre lightning storm disrupted half of Spain and now suddenly an ambulance was sent tumbling out of nowhere’ he thought as he knit his brows moving towards where the impact happened when he suddenly saw a young lady standing there with a scattered hair that poured all across her face preventing him from seeing her clearly especially as it was late, as he got closer he heard some rambling as though she was crazy, seeing this his heart tightened ‘oh poor one, it isn’t over yet just by losing a loved one, let me try and snap her out of it’ he thought as he called out: “hey miss, it’s not safe around here” as though talking to a deaf the girl didn’t bulge a bit which made him worried, but seeing tears continue to run down her cheeks as she looked at the victims he tried once more “miss you have to leave, there’s nothing we can do about them, they are far too gone, and it’s not your fault” as though brought back to earth by that question she turned her head to him. Looking her in the eye, he felt chills run down his spine, he couldn’t explain the feeling but it was as though he was prey being stared down upon by a monster.

GULP

He took an obvious gulp when he saw this;

“It’s all my fault” As she said this the electric lamps began to flicker as most equipment used sparked uncontrollably, seeing what was happening around him, he took another gulp, as in the next moment, what he saw was something he couldn’t really explain as it looked like something out of the movies as he watched he turn into a streak of yellow lightning as she disappeared without another word.

“Shit looks like I might have to retire 'cause, I’m not paid well enough for this shit,” he said as he was sweating profusely while he gave a sigh of relief.

“Not my fault he says, not my fault he says” she muttered as she reached her father’s mansion. On seeing the building, she didn’t want to alert anybody as she moved, she didn’t want any questions of any sort, all that she wanted was to lie down and pass out, to wake up the next day normally revealing all what happened tonight was in fact a nightmare. She held her arms as she moved, with most of her outfit long turned into history, she got to the part of the building where her room window was located and she looked for a way to sneak into the room when she bumped into a maid:

“Ah young miss, you are back safely,” the maid said as she came up to her with a smile,

“no stay back from me,” she said inaudibly as she looked at the slowly approaching maid with terror in her eyes, the maid stopped just short of her as she spoke:

“The young miss should know that she is very precious to the family, what would I go home and tell my daughter Sophie if anything happened to you? You know she adores you a lot even more than I, her mother, it makes me wonder in regret why I wasn’t able to give her a young one, but you know I and my husband prayed and we were finally able to do something in” she said with a chuckle as she went to lift her hands up,

“No, stop,” she said weakly as she was distraught, the maid took her hand as she lifted it, and placed it on her stomach:

“See, Sophie would be a senior sister too…”

A bright ray of surging current suddenly left Sarah as it struck the maid:

“RRRROOOOSSSSSEEEEE” Sarah screamed at the top of her voice.
