Standing looking upwards towards the creature Richard didn’t feel even a bit of the original fear that he had, he felt as though he could do something as his face showed all his determination and strength. The creature when looking at this had a smile form on its lips as the four flaps covering its mouth grinned:
“Looks like we have a strong one here, I was almost disappointed by your species strength as I felt you guys don’t deserve the tier 3 rank but a tier 5, but seeing you now I know he wasn’t wrong, but it isn’t enough,” it said as it threw a punch directly towards with fast speeds that the human eye could not follow as Richard seeing this with his newly enhanced reflexes tilted to the right as he successfully dodged the punch but the creature followed up immediately with a kick to the body as he was sent flying into the building breaking some walls as he crashed in as the debris of the two-story building collapsed on him.
“I think I thought too much about it,” the creature said as it turned around with a bit of disappointment in its face as it wanted to walk away. The black and grey uniform that it wore had a light glow pass through it as he was about to go get the next insect when suddenly:
BOOM
The
“Hey Squidward, where do you think you are going to” Richard said as he came out of the debris and spat out blood to the side, his outfit was already in no recognizable form as the impact that would have killed a normal human left a few injuries on his body as they visibly healed.
“Oh interesting indeed, maybe you can entertain me some more,” the creature said as it fiddled with its wristwatch-like object on its arm and disappeared from its spot.
‘Where did it go?’ Richard thought immediately he saw this, his face had taken a serious expression as he looked around his newly enhanced mind already working at a pace that far exceeded normal humans as his eyes narrowed taking everything in with caution ‘Wait he did this before, but how…’ he was still thinking when he felt something coming from his back making him want to turn around but due to his reflex he folded his arms as he twisted his body to the right as at that moment it appeared with a blow already heading towards him.
BAM
The punch landed as he had barely managed to hold his ground when the creature held his head using its leg it kicked the back of Richard’s legs forward causing his body to fall backward as he smashed his head to the ground with an impact that shook the ground causing a crater to be formed as dust rose. It then picked up the body as it then punched him afar into another building.
BANG
He began crashing through the building as he hit the last wall ‘I have to find a way to turn this around, maybe I can let loose a bit’ he thought as he saw the creature rapidly approach him with his fist already folded going in for another punch.
“Now I have got you little insect,” the creature said as it threw another punch towards the human in front of it this time it had used a lot of strength to the punch causing a wave of sound to travel through the air when it hit. The wave was so strong that the nearest wall broke as debris and dust were sent flying in different directions. The hit was a direct one and sure to have killed the creature but something didn’t feel right as the creature’s face showed it, It had a face of disbelief as even though it was a clear hit, his fist was stopped by the human who had his hands crossed up as an ‘X’, as his palms were folded into a fist as the had already begun glowing light orange as strong heat was been emitted from them.
Taken from Royal Road, this narrative should be reported if found on Amazon.
Richard during the last week had learned to restrict the flames to his hands by pushing the warm energy in his body to his hands as he could control it better, but if it were to be any other place he would lose control. He also noticed that anytime he channeled the energy his stats got boosted during an exercise he had accidentally broken a tree trunk with a single punch and he decided never to use it as no one would be able to survive it. So seeing the creature rapidly charge at him with a punch that he knew he had to block with everything he had, he crossed his arms above his head his arms began to glow as he pushed the heat energy he was feeling across his body as his veins turned dark red, then to red and then orange as it went from his forearms towards his fists which turned bright red as heat waves began to come out of it. His sleeves burnt away as the heat built up and as it collided with the punch his remaining shirt was blown away revealing his body.
Seeing that it had worked and he was able to stop the attack he smiled as he raised his head to look at the creature his eyes gaining a bright red glow with a slight glow of a bird in his eyes as the shape of the bird died down quickly as when the creature saw this a chill ran down its spine as it went in for another punch with the other hand but Richard seeing this coming felt something, he felt something he hadn’t felt throughout this time as a word left his mouth:
“Slow”
To him he felt that the speed of the creature was reduced as this only happens under certain conditions, either the opponent was getting weak which in this case wasn’t, or he was just faster. Seeing this other hand coming he tilted to the side as the creature smiled going in for a kick again Richard brought down a hand blocking the kick gathering more energy on the other hand and sending a devastating punch to the chest of the creature who was sent flying this time as it fell through the air bouncing on the ground creating mini craters as he later came to a stop.
Richard seeing this dropped his hand as he began to walk forward, Due to the heat emitting from his hand, his shorts had already been burnt leaving his underwear as the grasses bent as they wilted from the heat. The dry grass began catching fire as sparks flew. The previously green academy had been flattened as the building had been destroyed and dust rose. Everyone had already found a way out of there as due to the current fight there was nowhere that one could assume was a safe place.
“Hahahaha” the creature began to laugh as it picked itself up from the ground, as a visible fatal wound was seen through the left side of its abdomen but the suit he was putting on had begun to heal it as the material seeped into the wound as the color green stained the now visible soil, as the source was the wound indicating it was the creatures blood. The sudden laughter caused Richard to pause as the situation seemed strange.
“Looks like my mission here is already half complete,” it said as it bent his hand opening his palm from his suit a transparent orb appeared on his hand glowing red in quick intervals as though it were a tracker.
