“My dear why are you crying?” a gentle voice came from behind me I didn't recognize it though.

A young man was standing behind me he had light brown hair and piercing blue eyes, he was wearing a black cloak with his hood up a little bit just to cover the back of his hair.

“I'm sorry if I was being a disturbance, the reason why I'm crying doesn't matter I can never go back to who I was anyway.” I gave a small smile and wiped my face again.

He gave me a look of concern.

“Anyway my name is Rosalee Andrews, I am a guest of the prince.” he smiled at me and replied in a soft and gentle voice.

“Hi Rosalee. I’m Theo. I am the mage of this castle and have been for many years, would you like to take a walk with me?”

I nodded in agreement and got off the swing, we walked around the gardens for a while and Theo told me about his journey and how he arrived here. When the prince was just a child he told me about the trouble the prince used to get into, especially because he always used to run off from his guards and the people around him, the only person he stayed by was Xavier who was like a brother to him, Theo told me about the kingdom and what the villagers are like. I didn't realize how late it got and by the time me and Theo had returned to the castle, it was already time for dinner.

I didn't understand why, but around Theo I felt safe and happy. He was able to cheer me up quite a lot. I saw Chris running toward us through the corner of my eye. He stopped just in front of us.

“There you are, I have been looking for you all over. Xavier left ages ago,” he said trying to catch his breath.

Theo looked at him slightly concerned and spoke.

“I'm sorry my boy I guess me and Rosalee lost track of time while talking and walking around the gardens, I understand that it is time for dinner.” Theo looked at me and smiled.

“If you ever need someone to talk to please come find me.”

I nodded in agreement and started to walk toward the dining hall, Chris following behind me.

“So what was that all about? And have you been crying again? Your eyes are all red a swollen”

I looked up at him and smiled.

“I'm okay so don't worry, let's go and eat.”

Dinner went by quite quickly and as soon as we all finished I said good night to everyone and made my way to my room, I was exhausted after crying earlier but I didn't want to show it in front of Chris. I got to my room and into my night clothes leaving my dress nicely folded up on the chair in my room. I got into bed and the minute my head hit the pillow sleep took over me.
