“Well Rosalee, would you like a tour of the castle? Then tomorrow we can give you a tour of the kingdom, father has also asked if you would like to join us for dinner. We have appointed Lilith as your head maid so that you aren't having to get used to so many people all at once.”
I nodded at him and we began to walk out of the bath area and back into the main hallway, he showed me around the castle, where the library was and where the main kitchen, and dining hall were located. He showed me to my room and then his which were both on the second floor, and he told me that the king's chambers were on the third floor as well as the mage's tower.
We exited the castle through the back entrance that led to the training grounds for the knights and the knights' living quarters and the horse stables. By this time it was late afternoon and it was time for our meal with the king.
On our walk back into the castle and to the dining hall, me and Chris chatted about this and that. At some point, he gave me permission to call him Chris. He told me his father's name was Demetrius but I was just to call him your majesty, unless, he gave me permission to call him his given name. Chris told me about his best friend Xavier and that he was a total flirt and to be careful around him.
As we reached the dining hall, the king was already situated in his chair at the head of the table. I hadn't noticed it until now, but me and Chris had been holding hands the entire time as he showed me around, I let go of his hand and gave the king a small bow and greeted him.
“Good evening your majesty”
He smiled and gestured for me to sit down in the chair to his right, and Chris sat in the chair to the king's left. The evening went by smoothly. Me, and the king chatted casually throughout it as he told me more about the land and how he became the ruler, he told me about his wife who sadly passed away, I told him about my own mother, and father and how my father had passed away, but I didn't go into detail about it as I still find it hard to talk about.

As the meal had finished Chris walked me back to my room and we both said goodnight, I changed into the night clothes that had been prepared by Lilith for me during dinner. I got into bed and got comfy and just like that, I was asleep.
I was awoken by a knock on my door. I rubbed the sleep out of my eyes and stretched as a yawn escaped through my lips, it could be heard throughout the whole room.
“Come in,” I said sleepily.
The door slightly started to open and in came Lilith, she walked to the window and opened the curtains, letting in the sun that was already high in the sky. She gave me a small smile, I guess it was still too early for her as well.
“Good morning miss Rosalee, I have prepared some clothes for you and placed them in your on-suite bathroom, so once you have completed your morning routine please come down to the dining room for some breakfast.”
I gave a slight nod in agreement and once she had left the room I made my way into the bathroom, I was too tired to have a look around last night so I didn't even know this was here.
I walked up to the sink that had a mirror mounted on the wall in front of it, I smiled and looked at my mess of dark blue hair that made me laugh slightly. My hair hasn't looked this bad in ages. I walked over to the shower and turned it on, dropping my night clothes that landed softly on the floor. I removed the rest of my clothing and got in. The water was warm and it relaxed my body and mind, I splashed some water on my face to give it a clean, I have never really used any products on my face as I have never needed too. I washed my hair with some lavender scented shampoo and conditioner and gave my body a wash. I stepped out onto the mat on the floor that was used to catch water, and I wrapped a towel around my body and one around my hair to catch the water so that it didn't fall onto the floor.
I made my way back into my bedroom with my clothes that had been picked out for me, again it was a short skater dress but this time instead of it being black it was the same colour as my hair; a stunning midnight sky blue. I slipped it on once I was dry, and luckily for me this time the zip was on the side so I didn't need any help. I brushed my hair and left it down to finish drying, by the door was a pair of black slip-on shoes with a small little bow on top of them, they reminded me of shoes that you could buy for children back in my world.
