Lucifer ran around the dungeon as a form of training, his earlier hunt went rather badly, he didn't lose of course, but he used too much force which was a waste of energy and managed to get an arrow in the back, then at the most critical moment, he ran out of mana.
If he was a normal human Lucifer would have taken several arrows before he could deal with the threat.
This was unacceptable to him, so when he was recovering mana he worked on increasing his battle prowess and he was able to think of a few good ideas while he was at it.
Suddenly Ahri appeared slightly out of breath from the side so he stopped running. She spoke between gasps for breath "find-- Lucifer-- scout party-- missing- sent-- messenger bird-- no message on bird-- only bloody paper"
Lucifer thought for a moment then replied, "I will tell Lucifer, go tell the others to prepare for battle" before starting to walk away, but Ahri called out "wait", then pulled out a translucent glowing gemstone out of her spatial ring.
Ahri handed Lucifer the gem and said: "give this to Lucifer, it's the library we promised him". Lucifer was surprised, the library he was promised was 20 floors or so of arcane knowledge, however, the only thing she gave him was a single gemstone.
Noticing "Green's" confusion Ahri explained, "this is an enchanted piece of equipment that holds most of the arcane library"
Lucifer asked "if it was only something this small you shouldn't you have fulfilled your promise much sooner"

Ahri defended "it takes time to create such a complex enchantment and the materials take time to prepare", then in a quieter voice Ahri confided "also some of the material there even I haven't had access to, so I took a peak first hehe".
Lucifer had no idea what to think of this, he just stared at her dumbfounded she would tell him something that could get her into trouble for no reason. On one hand, she did go against his wishes by keeping the library from him, but on the other, she did give it to him although it was not him she was giving it to but "Green" instead.
'She did give it to me and said to give it to Lucifer which is me so I suppose that means she is giving it to both of us? Perhaps she thought "green" would be grateful that he could deliver something Lucifer wants and earn some brownie points?'.
Instead of trying to figure out the strange woman in front of him he turned around and left while muttering "note to self, give a spanking Ahri for keeping things from me", as he did so Ahri's fox ears twitched and she blushed heavily.

He stuck the library into a temporary room he made absentmindedly and headed for the surface, one of the advantages of being the dungeon is he could leave though anywhere he wanted by creating an entrance. He entered the ant's farming area and used the secret exit Salenia had used earlier and left the dungeon.
The moment he stepped outside his territory the slight pull on his consciousness from the core became a strong tug. He ignored the new sensation and started walking up the mountain, he could feel the pull get slightly stronger the further he went from his dungeon, so he imagined that he could probably explore the city just fine, but if he intended to go any further he would have his consciousness ripped out of his body and returned to the core, or at least that's what he hoped would happen.
Lucifer was going to watch the enemy army attack the city. He was curious how the people of this world laid siege to a city where magic exists.
