After Amy had finished creating and adding the plants to her environment's, a couple of creatures and monsters invaded her dungeon. It got to the point where the last monster almost killed her second-floor boss, Carcha.
While all the invaders were either killed or made part of her dungeon, the last one still almost made it into the third floor. The third floor that did not have a boss monster, which she had to rectify immediately.
Unlike the first and second floor bosses, Amy was not going to choose just a singular floor boss. The lifeblood cuttlefish was a grouping monster that hunted and lived in groups. As a result, a single lifeblood cuttlefish would not be strong. What made them strong was their group.
She wanted to take a congealment of these monsters and somehow make them into the boss monster. So Amy chose a congealment of these monsters that were 35 members strong before taking a mana thread and getting to work.
With the previous two boss monsters, she used a mana string, followed her instincts and pushed a lot of her mana into the monster which she had chosen. Amy was going to do this with the lifeblood cuttlefish, except she was going to take that one mana string and pull it through one cuttlefish and into to another. So she pushed and pulled a single mana string through all 35 cuttlefish before channelling a lot of mana through the mana thread and into all of the lifeblood cuttlefish.
As she followed her instincts in the creation of the dungeon boss, and soon enough, a blue screen popped up.
You have made a congealment of lifeblood cuttlefish your floor boss of floor three. Due to making a group of monsters your floor boss, they have gained the hive mind aspect. You can now officially name the floor boss.
After Amy read through the blue screen, she got curious about what the hive mind addition did to the boss monster. To figure this out, she pulled up the boss monster's description.
Hive Mind Lifeblood Cuttlefish
A congealment of lifeblood cuttlefish that has been transformed into the third-floor boss monster. This monster has gained the trait of a hive mind, in which the group shares a collective consciousness.
Rank Level: D
Well, at least the way that she made the congealment of the cuttlefish into a boss monster worked. Having multiple monsters that share one collective consciousness would make it a lot more dangerous opponent and a great boss monster. It was even ranked level D, which was a nice surprise for Amy.
With the hive mind aspect added to her third-floor boss monster, Amy thought of a name for the group boss, Omega. Seeing the hive mind aspect made her think of The Omega In 'Edge of Tomorrow' movie. So it made her think that it would be a great name for the congealment.
You have officially named the hive mind floor boss of floor three "Omega".
With the name officially added to the boss, it made her think. Even with another floor boss, Amy knew that there was great danger in the trench. At this moment, she was not strong enough to defend against ever-increasing rank levels of monsters.
These latest monsters were around rank levels E and D.
Trench Stone Fish
A species of small but dangerous fish monster that has evolved within a trench. It has venom-filled spines across its body in various lengths and has very thick skin, enough so that it is hard to pierce its body.

Rank Level: E
Trench Isopod
A species of mana-seeking crustacean monster that can live anywhere in the world. This crustacean is special because it will seek out large amounts of mana to eat. Then, depending on the type of mana they consume, the monster will change and evolve.
Rank Level: D
Blackdragon
A species of deep-sea fish monster that is two to five metres in length. It has fanglike teeth and has a long chin whisker with a bioluminescent barbel to draw in prey. This monster is incredibly fast and has great reflexes. The monster is mostly found in deep-sea areas where there is no light and occasionally in trenches.
Rank Level: D
With the increase in monster rank levels invading or exploring her dungeon, Amy decided to make a promise to herself. If any invading trench monsters make it past floor three or the floor before the one that her core resides in, then she would let loose her anchor and try to move away.
Honestly, she did not want to do this because the death of the trench monsters gave off more mana than adventurers, so she could gain floors faster. But she did not want to put herself at risk of destruction or damage with the invading monsters. So if it got too dangerous, she would leave. Still, until that occurred, Amy would continue reaping the resources and benefits around her.
As she was thinking this, one of the groups of salamanders entered back into her territory.
It was the group led by Ao, the aquanaut, who was sent with his group as far into the reef as they could go and to pick up anything that appeared interesting or caught their attention.
When the group came into her territory, two things caught her attention. The first was what appeared to be a dead mammal that Ao was carrying, and the second was that all three of the salamanders appeared to be carrying something like a bucket around their neck. The buckets were slung around their neck by a string of seaweed, and there appeared to be things that they had collected.
It was intriguing because she had never observed her hydrius salamanders creating something like this before. When she stared at the three salamanders, the one to the left with light purple markings gained something that made them feel more like Ao. Like something was fundamentally different to them than before they left her territory. Then it hit her. The salamander must have gained a title, so she pulled up its description to see.
Name: _______
Species: Hydrius Salamander
Titles: Crafter
Oh, murmured Amy, it's a crafter? That's new.
Amy was just getting more curious and curious about the title, so she pulled up its description.
Crafter
A title gained through the art of creating something through the use of different types of materials. Those who gain this title tend to deviate from what is normally done. This title gives the holder a 3% increased chance to successfully make a usable creation.
After she read this, Amy chuckled to herself. While her hydrius salamanders appeared intelligent, she did not think that they were intelligent enough to gain something like this. Though it did make sense when she thought about the archeologist title that Carter gained.
Since the salamander gained a title, Amy decided to give them a name. After a bit of thinking, she decided to name them Thistle and pulled up their status screen to check if the name was applied.
Name: Thistle
Species: Hydrius Salamander
Titles: Crafter
Her noticing that the salamanders were intelligent made her think. It appeared that either the hydrius salamanders were already intelligent or were learning, which meant that they might be making a step to become a sentient group. If they did, then maybe she could create a sentient dungeon race that was all her own, but only the future will tell.
After she figured out how those buckets were made, Amy made everything that they retrieved and brought back a part of her domain and pulled up their descriptions. Maybe she could use what they brought back to finish up the monsters and creatures of the fourth floor.
Speaking of the fourth floor, she really needed to finish that up.
