With a new monster that she could summon, Amy summoned 30 and set them loose on the second floor. After watching them swim off and explore their new environment, she turned her attention to the other two penguin monsters she was contemplating.
Amy decided that she would not try to evolve the penumbra and augment penguins as she wanted to evolve them with something that suited their nature. And she really could not think of anything that she would want to combine them with at the moment.
But, that meant that there were only two types of monsters roaming the second floor, and she wanted to have three types of monsters. And she already had an idea about what she wanted to try and make into a monster. The second floor had the penguin that can operate in the air and land and the shark that operates in the water. Still, she did not have a stationary ambush monster.
What Amy wanted to do was to see if she could change an icey kelp into a plant monster. It was going to be tricky, but she would try her best to create another monster type.
So, she chose a single piece of kelp in one of the kelp forests and started working. Amy inserted a mana string and pushed a lot of mana through it. With that mana, she also pushed the ideas of fight, protect, ambush, kill, survive, basically anything that Amy could think of that she thought was connected to monsters. She also pushed change, grew, and became stronger through the mana string with those ideas.
After about five minutes of pushing mana and ideas into the plant, it started to change. The kelp grew bigger, had more strands that moved around much more than what the water current would do. In addition, the new leaves strands started to slightly turn darker than the original icey kelp. So much so that it would be hard to distinguish the two.
Amy continued to push mana and those ideas into the kelp until the changes stopped. The kelp ended up being a lot bushier, with more strands of kelp, more leaves and had a slightly darker blue and green colour.
With a deep breath, Amy pulled up the kelps description, hoping that it was now a monster.
Drowning Kelp
A blue and green underwater plant monster that hides in places where kelp is usually found. This kelp monster will hide that it is a monster until it is disturbed and will grab onto its prey with its strands and drag it down into the water, drowning it.
Rank Level: F
Amy was quite happy with the results of the drowning kelp, and she now had a way to change plants or creatures into monsters.
With that, she summoned around 80 of the drowning kelps before disbursing them to the four kelp forests. Depending on the size of the forests, more drowning kelp was placed within it. The drowning kelp was not placed next to each other but hidden within the kelp forests.
Now, everything is done. The environment has been created, the plants, creatures, and monsters were all placed within the floor, and Amy took a step back and watched her creation. To her, what she saw was an ecosystem ready for whatever may come, and it made her proud at what she saw.

As she was relaxing and just watching her two floors, Amy felt someone enter the sub-dimension, and when she turned to look at what escaped her notice. She saw the siren, Calder, come back through the portal with things she had not seen before. It seemed that Amy was so concentrated on building her second floor that the movements of Calder escaped her notice.
She also ignored him for a while, so Amy figured that she might as well ask him what he was doing.
Hey Calder, what are you doing?
When she said this, it seemed to really startle him.
"Ugh, hey Amy. What has been happening lately? The dimension started shaking, and there was a huge spike in mana."
Oh, that. Sorry for forgetting about you, but I was just expanding, nothing dangerous or anything. Besides, what are you doing?
"I'm just rebuilding some necessary tools for survival and collecting some food."
Food? Tools? Can you show me them, don't worry, I'll give them back or create new ones for you.
With some reluctance shown on Calder's face, he handed over all of the things that he brought into her sub-dimension.
Amy absorbed those items quickly, created another one of each of those items, handed them back to Calder, and pulled the descriptions up.
Flint Knife
A flint knife made out of flintstone that is sharp.
Block Coral
A type of solid coral that grows in sheets and columns.
Bell Sponge
A species of sponge that produces a healing gel.
After reading the descriptions, she turned her attention back to Calder.
Hey Calder, please let me know if you find anything interesting when you're out. Also, be careful in the new area, it's dangerous over there.
After all that, Amy turned her attention outside her sub-dimension and watched the amware reef. She decided that her focus would be on the reef for now.
POV Pyter Synder
Pyter, on the race to find the disappearing dungeon, found a reliable, well somewhat reliable current reader from the Sailors Guild. Her name was Lowri Glynn, and according to the sailors he talked to, there was no one like her, but the sailors guild did not recommend her. But, he did not have a lot of money, so she would have to do.
When he started working with Lowri to figure out where the iceberg disappeared and floated off to, he found out that she had a very unusual way of looking at it. Lowri would hold her hand on top of a large map of the area and push her mana into the map. The map then would light up with little lines all over the place, and she told him, "these are the currents of the area. Where did you say you found the iceberg?"
When Pyter pointed to the exact location, Lowri quickly calculated which direction the iceberg could go with the currents. Then, after a couple of minutes of Lowri mumbling and calculating the current speeds and such, she pointed to an area.
"Around this area, you will find the iceberg, give or take."
The area that she pointed to was the Amware Trench Reef.
With the new location, Pyter rushed to the group of sailors and adventurers that were coming with him and told them to gear up, that they were leaving.
As soon as everybody was on the ship and set off, Pyter stared off to this distance, ecstatic that he could find this dungeon he had staked his reputation on.
