As Amy felt the mana collected passively and from dead adventures flow into her core, reaching the limit it could hold, a blue screen popped up. Its message was of one of familiarity.
You have reached the requirement to obtain a third floor.
Accept to add the floor now.
Luckily, it was nighttime, so there was no one in the dungeon right now, so she decided that now would be okay to accept this.
I accept, thought Amy.
With that, another blue screen popped up.
Floor installation will begin in:
Three
Two
One
Like before, once the countdown finished, her core started to gain a now familiar kind of ache.
Then her ability to interact with her sub-dimension and territory stopped working. The growing pains started increasing for a couple of minutes, and then her core started growing. Her core kept on growing from its original 4.5 centimetres to 5.5 centimetres, growing an additional one centimetre.
It occurred to Amy that she has been growing one centimetre each time that she gained a floor.
As her core was growing, so did her sub-dimension. The growing pains started increasing as the sub-dimension started growing to accommodate her third floor. Like before, the sub-dimension grew an additional 100 metres side to side and an additional 50 metres top to bottom. When both her core and her sub-dimension stopped increasing in size, the pains that she experienced stopped.
Then Amy was finally able to interact with her territory and the new floor of her dungeon and sub-dimension.
Some of the things that she sort of expected to stay the same or appear, like the reef around her core, stayed the same and the barrier that popped up between the second and third floor appeared.
Unlike when the second floor appeared, Amy decided that she would take her time designing this floor. Of course, she already knew that she wanted a large floating mangrove island and a forest of rainfall trees. Still, she also wanted to take the time to experiment with different plants and animals.
In her mind, this would allow Amy to make a more dangerous and wondrous environment for this floor. It would also allow her to take some of the more basic elements of the first and second floors and make them more dangerous.
She did have time to design the third floor as only a couple of groups had seen Fisher, and they did not engage him. So it was only a matter of time before adventurer groups started engaging in combat and trying to kill the floor boss monster and make it to the second floor. But that meant that Amy had time to work on the third floor to her satisfaction.
As of now, there are two definite things that she wanted to create on the third floor, the floating mangrove island and a forest for rainfall trees. So, Amy went about making those elements.
She first started with the mangrove island. Her idea for this island is for it to be around 50 metres by 50 metres and have it be like a mini-exotic jungle. Or at least have it as tropical, as rainforest-like as she could make it be.
Amy decided to follow the way that she made the previous floating mangrove island. She made a ton of small, hollow pieces of ice, enough so that she could make three layers this time. She decided to go with three layers since it's going to be so much bigger than the 10 metres by 10 metres island. Even if the third layer of ice does not sink enough, it will allow her to potentially attach lings to the open ice sides.

She pieced together the three layers and made sure that the ice was tied together with her mana before she placed the layers on top of each other. Along with the layers, she also incorporated her mana net to ensure that any dirt placed on the top layer would not fall down into the water.
When Amy went to go get some dirt from the island, like she did last time, she realized that she essentially couldn't do that. Especially when there is a lot more area to cover. And it's not like she has exactly tried or even tried to figure out how to replicate particular inanimate objects.
Remembering that she received an offering of soil, Amy decided to try to duplicate or multiply the soil enough so that it would cover the island. But if she could do this, it would mean she could multiply and duplicate inanimate objects when she wants or needs to.
Amy took that small amount of fertile dirt and wrapped her mana string around it. In her mind, she imagined that pile of dirt becoming two piles of dirt, with it going down into the mana string. She imagined this so hard that the image of what she pictured in her mind started occurring. Her mana actually started growing the soil, and it made her so happy that she could actually do this as it saved her a lot of time and headaches trying to figure out different ways to cover the island with soil. It would also save her time in the future and has many potential uses.
Soon enough, Amy duplicated the fertile soil enough to cover the entire island and have a depth of about 30 centimetres.
Amy started bringing over some mangrove oak seeds to grow from the second floor with the soil already. She planted all but one of those seeds onto the floating island and made those seeds grow.
After the seeds grew into adult trees, Amy decided that she wanted to try to experiment and make a different type of mangrove tree to add to the island. After some thinking, Amy decided to use ice mana instead of water mana, but with the same method that she used to make the rainfall trees.
She took a strand of ice mana, inserted it into the seed, and wrapped the strand around the seed like wrapping a present. Then, with the ice mana thread prepared, Amy started pushing the power of the ice mana into the seed.
Like the rainfall seed where it gained a light blue sheen, after a while of pushing the ice mana into the mangrove oak seed, the seed gained a light white sheen.
When she saw the sheen, Amy decided that it was time to plant the seed. So she stopped pushing the ice mana into the seed and placed the seed into the fertile dirt.
After the seed was placed in the fertile dirt, she started growing it with her mana, and it started to grow. The seed sprouted, breaking above the dirt and growing tall. It was a bit bigger than the other mangrove trees, and it grew transparent light blue leaves. The tree also had another effect of producing a slight chill around the actual tree.
The tree's cooling effect had gone somewhat against what she had in mind for the floating mangrove island, but she loved the results and could definitely work with it.
Just to make sure that she had the right idea about this tree, she pulled up its description.
Chilling Mangrove
A type of mangrove tree that has been encased by ice mana. As a result, the tree grows ice-like leaves and will produce a slight chilling effect in the immediate area of the tree.
The description matched what she saw about the tree, so Amy decided that it was time to finish planting the floating island.
She decided that she only wanted a couple of these trees on the island due to the chilling effect. So she took five seeds from the chilling mangrove and placed them throughout the island, though not close together is she could help with. Amy also took seeds from the mangrove oak trees and placed them throughout the island.
All at once, Amy used her mana strings to grow the trees simultaneously. It was actually pretty cool to watch it, as all at once, this forest started to appear and grow.
It was pretty neat, and just as she was looking at the forest and wondering what else she could do, Amy felt something occur on her first floor.
She instantly zoomed her attention to the area where she felt this occurrence and saw that it was an adventurer group fighting Fisher, the floor boss.
What she saw, she knew it was the occurrence. The adventurer group fighting Fisher was actually fighting him successfully, and it looked like the group was going to win this fight.
Amy watched as the group attacked Fisher a final time and finally brought him down. She was surprised that a group was able to do this as quickly as they did, as she thought it would take a while for an adventurer group to successfully fight her boss monster.
She watched as the group started harvesting certain parts from Fisher before they started leaving the dungeon. Amy assumed that it was because they were too injured to continue into the second floor.
Well, her prediction came true, but a lot faster than she thought. It also showed her that she should probably choose a boss monster for the second floor, as the adventurers seemed ready to push into the second floor.
