Chapter 5 - Rosie

Chapter 5 - Rosie

"Ring-a-round the rosie" was echoed silently in a dark cave, far from any civilization. The words echoed loudly against the walls of the enormous caves, coming back several times to intercept the next part of the song. The next words "A pocket full of posies" crept along the crevices of the cave wall circling it. "Ashes.. Ashes.." spoken somberly with a small voice. A small child with grey skin, eyes, and even hair planned on finishing the song. Cracks along his skin, stitches upon stitches, and wounds completely open and ignored were plastered all over him.

"We all fall down" The zombie like boy finally muttered under his breath with great anticipation. Numerous flashes of bright red light encased the cave, revealing every little nook and cranny of it in great detail.

There was some caveman like drawings all about, none really coherent enough to even make a short story. In the center of the cave where the boy just performed what appears to be some ritual, stood a pile of green bodies with numerous burn marks on them stacked on top of each other.

After many minutes silence passed, something finally happened, a twitch, a movement, a disturbance. The green bodies instantly turned as pale the boy. Gurgling was heard in a horde like matter.

Fingers twitched, arms moved, feet dangled, the bodies of the now pale figures slowly lifted themselves up off of each other. After managing to get out of the giant pile of filth and stench, they appeared to be lining up in front of the zombie boy.

"Excellent! I knew it would work.. but never had I envisioned it would work on all of you with only one cast" spoke the small figure standing in front of an army of bodies.

"I suppose I should test it though to see if it really worked.."

"You! Stand on one foot and hop in a circle while wiggling your arms around"

If you spot this story on Amazon, know that it has been stolen. Report the violation.

It was a sorry sight to see, a large lifeless body was hopping around and waving their arms, an odd and slightly humorous sight, yet in this cave, no one moved, no one laughed, no one except the body hopping did anything.

"Amazing.. truly amazing! To what extent will you follow my commands? Can you speak?"

"urrnnnRGNnnnn"

"Hmm I suppose what you lack for intelligence will make up for in brawn, and surely with me at the helm we have more than enough intelligence to go around" The boy muttered in a haughty voice.

"And you! Punch the person to the right of you with all your power! NOW!"

CRUNCH was the disgusting sound that resulted from the boys order, without a second delay the standing body that was ordered left a hole where the others brain would have been. The child had a huge grin on his face filled with malicious thoughts.

This wasn’t the only horde he shall claim his own either, this was simply the start for him. What a treasure trove to find, a village with hundreds of very high level orcs laying in the center, about to be burned. The child put the fire out, dragged them to a cave where he set his ritual up, and then performed very evil dark magic.

The pale skinned boy, wasn’t done by any stretch of the imagination, this was his beginning, this was his introduction, this was his first love letter, only to be dwarfed and send many more that are leagues better.

"Ring-a-round the rosie"... was a quiet sound echoed through the cave as the boy hopped around the apparent zombie that was still standing on one foot, moving around like a fool.

“I think it’s time we gathered more corpses, don’cha think guys!?”

A loud roar of almost chatting could be heard, ever so slightly off beat with their damaged and zombie vocal chords.

They moved through the remains of the village, not out of place in the fires that rose hundreds of feet high. Trampling over any debris on their path, they followed the young boy like a dog on a leash. Hundred of orc’s gathered, the planet shook to its very core as the marching didn’t relent

“Next destination! The Human continent” The boy pointed forward towards the horizontal, with his loyal subjects continuing to march on. A small malicious voice could be heard echoing quietly in the wind.

“The human’s have no chance against these fucking brutes. March! Faster! I want to hear them scream from the planet shaking, before they can even see the shadows you big fuckers cast”
